We stayed at Cleddau for my daughter’s 1st Birthday and we had the most amazing time! The hosts were so lovely and welcoming and the pod and it’s location were absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect location to celebrate our daughters birthday!
The most lovely remote place for a stay! Had such a great 2 nights.. will definitely recommend this to all my family! The owners dad was so nice! He popped over at the beginning of our stay and gave us attraction recommendations (which were great). 10/10.

This gorgeous luxuriously appointed lodge, stunning views, chilled out place to recharge yourself. Sat by the fire (table) a glass in hand watching the clouds, the trees, the birds whilst listening to the sound of the babbling brook. Everything I needed to set the scene for a romantic weekend.
Well equipped beautiful home. Only downside is the games room isn’t enclosed and the only access to the hot tub is from a thin spiral staircase that’s not the easiest to climb with a small toddler. All in all we had a beautiful stay and Elly who looks after the house couldn’t have been more accommodating. House is a great location for exploring Bala and North Wales.

Definitely recommend this property to all,it was clean and had all the facilities you would need for a short break, washing machine, dryer,dish washer and very good wifi. We all throughly enjoyed our stay and are booking again for Christmas. The hosts were excellent and looked after us very well.

We stayed at Langland bay lookout for my husbands birthday with our children. It was such a peaceful and relaxing spot, not to far (by car) to be able to explore the beautiful beaches and cliffs of Wales. Honestly some of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. The cabin had everything you could need for your stay and the hot tub was perfect after a long day walking to relax. Our boys would have lived in there if they could! We had a lovely stay at the Granary, the house was beautiful very well kept and to a high standard. We spent our time as a family celebrating New year here it was quiet and relaxing, just how we wanted it to be.

Just everything about the Heather pod was amazing,great location with the most beautiful view outside the pod, I couldn’t recommend it enough and I can’t wait to come back already

Super tranquil stay at this perfectly sized pod. Amazing views from the outside seating and hot tub of rolling hills. Some pubs nearby. Great place to detach from busy city life.
Would definitely recommend to others, was a beautiful location. Such a calm and peaceful place. Everything was clean and presented nicely, looks exactly like the pictures. Hot tub was clean and the perfect temperature. If you’re dependent on wifi/ signal- it was quite difficult to get service. But you’ll soon figure out where the best place is for your phone to be located (mainly on the bed). But saying that, it was nice not to be on the phone and just enjoy every moment/ scenery as we don’t get to do that often :-)
We really enjoyed our stay in the Daisy pod. We’ve told all our friends and family about it. Beautifully designed and equipped with everything we needed. Our only recommendation would be to have a king bed rather than a double. Size wise it maybe too tight but that’s was our only thought. The bedding was so soft which was lovely! Thank you
Just returned from an amazing weekend staying at Dyffryn ceri. What a lovely little spot in such a lovely part of the world. Jo met us and showed us around and how things worked in the cabin. What can I say it was truly stunning! Mayflower was a beautiful shepards hut which was so clean and decorated very well and modern! The private hot tub was incredible with beautiful views, it really made our stay special! Location is fantastic to visit the Elan Valley which was mind blowing, the easy access to the site and personal check in with a key in a key safe was a great touch it felt like our own, the site is also very well kept! We will definitely be returning and hopefully for more nights next time, thank you for the experience
We booked this getaway as we needed a bit of rest and somewhere new to visit. After a 6.5hour drive from outside of Glasgow down to St Harmon, we were very happy to unpack and get cosy in Tulip. The cabin was lovely and clean, and was way more spacious than we had expected. This helped as one of our four legged babies is a big girl, and takes up quite the large amount of space! Having stayed in a shepherd hut last year, we booked 2 pods for a family stay and it was as wonderful as the first. The pods had everything we needed and was comfortable and warm. We would definitely stay again.
A gorgeous place to relax, rest, reset and breathe. When life is in the fast line this certainly makes you stop. My husband and I had the perfect most relaxing stay. Fully recommend for adults.
Primrose was very clean and cosy. Couldn’t have wished for a better way to spend our anniversary. I would definitely recommend but take into consideration that everything is a long walk away so if you don’t drive expect to stay in the cabin or pay taxi fares. All in all we had an amazing time just relaxing and spending time in the cabin/hot tub. Ps the bed is comfortable I could have brought it home with me.

Our stay over the new year was jus what we needed after a busy Christmas time for me and my boyfriend to chill before a busy 2024, the tent itself was excellent very comfortable with everything you need. Although it rained the whole duration of our stay it didn’t ruin it but we were unable to use the hot tub and fire pit which was a shame but would love to go in summer and properly enjoy the facilities you pay for. The toilet and shower facilities were close by and clean enough for a camp site. Would definitely recommend staying here in the peaceful setting as a lovely couple of days away.
Andrew was fantastic from start to finish, the perfect host with a passion for all things eco! The pod itself was lovely, having everything we could need readily available and the views from the wood fire hot tub were sensational!
Had the best time spent with my partner for our anniversary the location and views are to die for with very quiet location. We got welcomed every morning by birds singing in the morning with the view of sunrise while enjoying a cuppa with freshly laid eggs.

We stayed at the Hayloft with our chidren and grand children for our sons 40th birthday and had a fabulous time. It is a lovely and well equipped house.
Amazing little pod, was immaculate and so cozy! Was very remote and we had to travel some distance to get food so would definitely recommend doing a food shop before getting to the pod but it was amazing for anyone who wants to switch off from the world for a few days. Would 100% stay again! Diolch
First time visit to this place and I wasn't disappointed, what a lovely place for a few days rest, everything you need on site, great play area for the kids, indoor swimming pool was great. Cafe are was also good, would have been nice to of maybe a little shop on site so you do some cooking,maybe an idea for future, all the team there was lovely they couldn't do enough, had a few flys in the cabin ut I think that was mainly being near the pond, nothing you can't handle though,was great that ther was a privacy screen around the tub,just perfect, will defo be going back.
Lovely couple of nights enjoyed in the Welsh countryside. Every single detail was perfect and well thought out. Everything was very clean and we loved the extra touches; homemade Welsh cakes, robes, slippers etc. The hot tub was great and very easy to use. The hosts (including Muffin the dog) were so welcoming and took the time to show us around. Recommended to all our friends and would love to go back!

A quirky accommodation with more than adequate outdoor space. The hobbit house was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The outdoor seating was perfectly positioned to catch the sun any time of the day and the hot tub was a perfect place to relax and take in the view. A brilliant weekend away!

We have just returned from spending Christmas here as a family of 6. The property is beautiful. The photos don't do it justice. So spacious, clean and homely. Property is well furnished with everything you could possibly need. The owner was very responsive in the run up to our holiday and throughout. We had a slight problem with the heating during our stay and a plumber was sent out within hours to rectify the issue. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and we will be looking to return in the future.
I found this amazing place on Tiktok!! It immediately appealed to me as it was dog friendly. I decided to check the price thinking you'd probably pay a hefty premium for being able to take your dog. However I couldn't believe it when weds-fri early July was £167.. you pay a surcharge of £20 for a pet which I thought was more than reasonable. My family had a beautiful stay in the Otter. Beforehand I was worried we would be cold as the weather hasn’t been the best, but the tent was toasty! Lots of lovely little touches, especially the basket with some Welsh goodies in and some fire wood. The Otter had everything we needed as a family of four, with plenty of space and surrounded by beautiful landscape. We loved watching the lambs and going to see the goats. We were also lucky to spot many red kites flying in the area. Thank you for a wonderful family weekend away.
we stayed at Kestrel cottage 4 adults (friends) and two boys aged 10 and 12 on the 8th December. It was a quiet peaceful place, beautiful scenery and it was an exceptionally clean property to stay in. All the equipment we had the need of was provided. The place was spotless. Very rural but we were happy with that. We had taken dvd’s to use and board games to place. The swimming pool was lovely, sauna was a welcome addition too. We would all return in a heart beat. Great value for money and a perfect place to unwind
What a nice place was very clean would go back clarie and Dave the owners was very helpful. we want for my partners birthday I phoned clarie and she sorted some flowers and banners for me and her mum made a cake and a bottle of wine which was a nice touch if we needed anything there was just on the end of the phone and was pleased two help I would definitely go back
We recently stayed and this was our second visit. It is the perfect little break for my partner and I with our two dogs. We have such busy lives and love coming here to switch off. The dogs were very happy to play in the secure garden whilst we watched the sun set in the hot tub. Location is peaceful with amazing views but only a short drive away to local pubs and shops. We visited Elan Valley for a long dog walk - wow! Breathtaking views for every step. We had an amazing weekend at Rabbit Warren. It’s the type of accommodation where you don’t need to go out or leave because it’s so beautiful. The alpacas made the stay even better, my son loved calling them over for their breakfast every morning. It’s a special place and very unique. Hot tub was a fabulous addition and the views were incredible. Claire the owner was only a text away and very helpful! Will certainly be returning! Thank you ever so much.
Our first stay here and I can honestly say it won’t be our last. We have stayed locally previously so we knew we liked the area and there was plenty to do nearby, but during this visit we barely left the bungalow. It was so clean on arrival, we had very sweet gifts left for us by the owner (the cupcakes were incredible!), and it felt like a home away from home. Overall….our stay in the ginger hut was lovely. It was very clean, had everything we needed & the hosts left us a bottle of wine which was lovely! I enjoyed our stay in Woodland Escape. The location is quiet and beautiful with nature and animals around. The lodge and hot tub are very modern. The playground for kids is located on the site. I wish the sofa bed was better, it's meant to be double but it is impossible for 2 adults to sleep there due to bad quality or possibly its overused. The kitchen and bathroom need more basic equipment, like proper knives for cooking and shampoos for the bathroom. Thank you, will be returning!

We stayed in the Highland View shepards hut and we loved it! The hut is perfect and kitted out really well. The views are beautiful and we loved watching out over them when sitting in the hot tub, and it’s only a short drive down into the town. Elan Valley isn’t too far of a drive away to be able to go walking and seeing all the amazing Dams too. It’s been a beautiful break away for us and we will definitely be looking to come back again!

We stayed here for our 1st wedding anniversary and we loved every second of it, absolutely amazing views and so peaceful. We loved the cosy snug feel and we was welcomed with a lovely note, bottle of wine and some Welsh cakes on arrival. Great value for money and if your looking for a complete out the way get away then this is the place to stay we will for sure book again
We really enjoyed our stay at the Tin Shed. Very clean,tidy and included all the useful appliances if we needed them.The host was very friendly and helpful and even let us enter the property earlier than we expected. Highly recommend a stay the Tin shed.

I travelled go cabin nant du with my family and my 6 month old and we had the best time. The property was spotless and had everything we needed. The only thing was I asked for a travel cot but there wasn’t one in the property. Luckily I bought something similar of my own. Other than that, every single thing was spot on! We had the loveliest break & I will definitely be booking with holiday wales again - in fact very soon for a winter getaway with my husband for his bday! Thank you for such a lovely stay.

Very impressed with the lodge as soon as we arrived. Cosy and feels homely inside. Top of the range appliances which made it very enjoyable. One thing that would have been nice would be a microwave as with these sorts of stays, we prepared our meals with this expectation. One more thing would be a mat on the floor inside the lodge as it rained while we were there and we ended up having to sacrifice one of our towels from home to avoid wet footprints inside. Overall, would definitely stay again and really enjoyed this. Will be recommending to friends and family.

Lovely stay at the kingfisher- host couldn’t do more - very helpful, decorated the hut including a cake for my girlfriend and offered to be a taxi for us if needed. Was lovely to get away with no signal and chill in lovely surroundings- even the thunderstorms didn’t ruin our weekend. Would go back again. Feedback from girlfriend- send the dogs down to say hello more often :)
My family and I loved the short break we had, everything thought about for their guests needs even down to lawn games. We are planning to go back next year. Owner checked in on us to make sure we were ok and if we needed anything which was very thoughtful.

The only comments we’d make is that the picnic bench is not the most comfortable seating to enjoy relaxing on in the evenings. Wish we’d taken our camping chairs, some of the other accommodation did have alternative seating. Also, next time we’d book accommodation on the same site that has some cover over the hot tub so we could have enjoyed it more in the Welsh rain. Clean, comfortable and dog friendly.

This was our 2nd visit, thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Daffodil has everything we needed for a wonderful holiday. Excellent enclosed safe garden for the dogs. Great location for lovely dog walks, beautiful scenery. Short drive to Rhayader where there are some gear pubs, will definitely come again.

A fantastic place to stop and unwind. We stayed in one of the smaller pods and it was perfect for just the two of us. We made use of the hot tub too after walks around the Elan Valley and the Devils Bridge is a must too.
We have been here before but another Hut and know what’s there and loved it kids loved it the only thing this time was the cleanliness as there was dead fly’s on the roof where you sleep which easily could be wiped clean and a smell from the bathroom was not very pleasant but didn’t put us off enjoying our stay in a gorgeous area, Hot tub was brilliant and at a great temperature even on arrival

We had a lovely one night stay in Shepherds View. We loved the location and our views were stunning - we especially enjoyed our four legged neighbours in the form of the Sheep & Highland Cows. The hot tub was fabulous & a wonderful temperature throughout. We enjoyed the peace, well that was until our human neighbours were a tad noisy with the booming of their music and the whiff of their weed! However when we were inside the Shepherds Hut itself, we weren't disturbed at all. From the moment we arrived, we knew this was the best place for us! 6 of us in Hares View had the most amazing time! The beds are unbelievably comfy! I really enjoy my stay but the shower and toilet facilities need to be check because the shower is blocked, one of the toilets light is not working.
What a fantastic farmhouse this is for a large group. Totally fulfilled every expectation we had for my 70th birthday with family and friends. Even tho it was a cold month the house was always lovely and warm. The hot tub was a great bonus and we had lots of fun in it, always hot and well maintained. Recommend this lovely venue for a large gathering

We went away as a group of Lord of The Rings fans and the accommodation was perfect! There was more than enough space for 6 adults and for all to be comfortable. The accommodation itself was in pristine condition, plenty of facilities to cook and good fridge/freezer space for a full house for two nights! The location was stunning! Beautiful location with gorgeous views ,great hot tub ,very hot. Only 2 down points the sofa bed (to sit on )was passed it sell by date. Whether it had had a hard life don't know but to sit on it was uncomfortable to say the least. The duvet was too small and thin it would have felt more luxurious to have larger fluffy duvet. Maybe it's just me but instructions to strip your bed and leave it by the door and empty the bin when you're on holiday is not Hotel style
Myself and my husband stayed for 4 nights with our dog to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. The property is impressive with lots of space and land, our dog really enjoyed the little woodlands behind the cabin. While the location is lovely and picturesque, surrounded by greenery and farm animals, it is a bit of a drive from the nearest town (around 20-25 minutes). The site is absolutely lovely, with views of the Welsh hills for you to soak up whilst in the hot tub. Otters View seems to be one of the first properties built and, aside such, has not been given much love and attention over the year. There is no storage at all in one of the King Size rooms, the curtains in the other king size room do not cover the entire circular window so it is very bright, very early in the morning. Due to a lack of ventilation, the property gets very warm during the day and there is very little that can be done to keep it cool overnight as there is only one window in the ...more
We had a lovely 4 day break. The Lodge was lovely and clean. The twin room was a little small for an adult but otherwise ok. The site was clean and plenty for the kids to do. Only issue we had was the cafe, food wasnt great. They had run out of alot of ingredients but didn't tell us. We had completely different xishes to what we ordered. Staff were polite, but didn't seem to know what they were doing. Could have just been an off day.
