We relaxed from the moment we unpacked and used the private hot tub (which was amazing!), looking over the fields towards the sea in the distance. We were very fortunate to have excellent weather throughout our ten day visit. The cottage was clean and very comfortable - so much space for two people and it was lovely to have so much private outdoor space too. Location for Looe and the surrounding area is perfect for exploring the South Cornish coast. There are good places to eat out and we shopped at the local farm shop a couple of times. Corn barn was spacious and comfortable with top quality appliances, crockery, furniture and decor. The property is perfect for families with children or an extended family group. One can easily spend a day relaxing at the property without being bored. Within Corn Barn there is a small library of paperbacks and DVDs as well a number of board games for all ages. Every facility is available to accommodate young children and toddlers.
We stayed in Threshing Barn for a long weekend to celebrate our daughter's 18th Birthday. The Barn is wonderful and lends itself to any weather, we had 2 days of sunshine and enjoyed the outside space and the hot tub, followed by a storm, when it was lovely to be in the cosy barn and watch the trees. The Barn is a great social space, with the large open plan lounge and mezzanine level, with wonderful views. The bedrooms are all downstairs and therefore very quiet if anyone fancies an early night. We had a wonderful 4 night stay at the Water Mill. Fantastic property, hot tub was a bonus, great hosts. Beautiful part of the world - will definitely be back!
This was a venue that had everything: stunning views, beautifully decorated cottages which were comfortable, extremely well equipped and completely 5 star. The owners were kind, considerate and very friendly. They should be so proud of this holiday venue as it is superb. The weekend was one we will never forget. It couldnt have been more perfect to bring together 2 families and special friends to celebrate a wedding that will forever be a precious memory to each one of us. We will definitely come back
