Our stay was perfect! The location was great, with a beautiful view and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. It felt so peaceful/tranquil but you still had the local town and beaches nearby. We hired all the cottages for a group of 19 and it was great to have the large dining table and communal area. We would love to come back again in the future.
Everything you could possibly need is provided. We booked the Linhay and the Corn Barn as there were 9 of us, but the Corn Barn allowed us all to get together. We had groceries delivered to the door on our first evening and a Chinese takeaway on another evening.
The accommodation is spotless and so well appointed. The host’s are so lovely and friendly. It’s in a peaceful setting with beautifully maintained gardens and a hot tub makes it a perfect retreat. Perfect location for exploring Cornwall. This was our third visit and we are already looking forward to our next!
My husband and I had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Threshing Barn at the end of May. The accommodation is beautifully presented, very clean and comfortable in lovely surroundings. We were fortunate to have lovely sunny weather, and it was so nice to have a bbq in the quiet, private garden before relaxing in the hot tub. Such a gem of a holiday cottage, that we would definitely return to.
We spent a relaxing few days at the Water Mill exploring the beautiful surrounding area. This property was recommended to us by a family member and it certainly met our expectations Jane and Graham are delightful hosts and we felt welcome as soon as we arrived. The lovely cottage is very well equipped and the location is very peaceful There is lots of parking onsite and the road network to the property is good (we drove from Berkshire)
