This location suited us well with such good access to town centre. The apartment is very well equipped. We love staying here. Even though it’s close to the town centre it feels quiet and has lovely view over the rugby field to the hills.

Enjoyed a stay here with another family member. A great location, kitchen well fitted albeit would be small for 4 people. Lovely views from lounge. Personally I did not find either of the twin beds very comfortable but may just be me, as personal preference. Could do with some non-slip mats in bathrooms. Overall a very enjoyable stay again in Keswick and this is such a good place near the centre.

Our umpteenth stay here, which says it all! Everything is very satisfactory apart from a couple of minor quibbles which are not worth mentioning. The situation could not be better, being two minutes from the best supermarket in the North and the bus station. The staff at Keswick Cottages were particularly helpful this year when we had problems with the key. Thoroughly recommended!

Thank you for a lovely stay although the weather could have been better.
The apartment was nice and warm, however we do have one or two issues to point out:-
1. Lack of cleaning products in the kitchen and bathrooms. There was no handsoap or towel in the kitchen.
2. Under the beds in the twin room hadn't been cleaned as there was a bottle under one and reminants of food under the other this was only noticed towards the end of our stay.
3. Dining table wasn't quite clean, it would also benefit from new place mats.
4. Unfortunately the sofas were a little uncomfortable.
5. There didn't seem to be any egg cups in the kitchen.
6. The shower in the en suite needs attention of which you are aware.
On the whole a lovely stay and the couple if issues that we did have during the week keswick cottages were prompt in their response. One of which was an issue with the wall light on the kitchen wall which working but couldn't be fixed.

Clean,inviting and could not really make any comment against the property apart from maybe storage space in twin room.Had a really enjoyable stay,and will be back.

This is a well positioned ground floor flat in the centre of Keswick with parking. The flat has nice views from the lounge and was very quiet.Not a great deal of space in the main bedroom. We both managed to hit our leg on the wooden bed when moving around the room. It was good to have 2 bathrooms. The kitchen doesn't have a lot of space for food but does have a good fridge and freezer. The flat is in good condition and we really enjoyed our stay.. Keswick cottages provide a digital display unit which provides info on the flat, area and check out time plus weather.

Comfortable flat. We had lots of good walks and managed to do them all without having to drive anywhere; we used the launches and buses. Thank you for arranging for the weather to be so good.

11 Howrah’s Court is a lovely cottage. Great location , near shops , town centre etc. Everything you need , nice furniture, kitchen .


Only one more thing that would make it perfect . If the master bedroom had a king size bed , as most couples prefer that to a double. Would stay again .

This is one of the best places we have stayed. Having lots of convenient features. Central location, but quiet and great views, warm, with lots of facilities. My elderly mum managed really well, only thing that would have helped would have been another step or hand rail on front door.

Great place to stay & very satisfied. Have been 6 times. Comfortable, well equipped & ideal situation. However WiFi poor this time, but fine in previous stays. Frame to shower in en suite needs some attention. Will be back!

We have stayed in Keswick a number of times, always with Keswick Cottages and have never been disappointed. 11 Howrahs Court was a superb apartment in a wonderful location, giving easy access to both the town and lake. Clean, well equipped and comfortable with wonderful views of the fells; we couldn't have chosen better. Will definitely return.
