This property is very spacious and comfortable in a modern style. The views are beautiful and we walked every day from the bungalow. We have already rebooked for next year and so looking forward to it.
We have stayed in Keswick a number of times, always with Keswick Cottages and have never been disappointed. 11 Howrahs Court was a superb apartment in a wonderful location, giving easy access to both the town and lake. Clean, well equipped and comfortable with wonderful views of the fells; we couldn't have chosen better. Will definitely return.
Lovely cottage, very well appointed very clean, small car park. The lounge cum dining area was large and airy, good sized bedrooms.
The house is so close to the town centre and the long stay car park is a minutes walk away. The house itself caters for all needs, well stocked with all we needed. Very comfortable and the small courtyard still had the sun into the early evening. Keswick Cottages staff, especially Rebecca, were spot on. For me, they are a highly recommended company.
We stayed at Lake view cottage and had a great week. The property was immaculate with great beds, comfy furniture, great bathrooms and a more than well-stocked kitchen. But the best feature was undoubtedly the amazing view. We loved watching the light change and look at the clouds rolling across the hills. A perfect spot to explore the northern part of the lakes with highlights like Grasmere only about 30 minutes by car, and Kewsick and all its shops basically around the corner.
The property is located right in the centre of town. Huge property with 3 large bedrooms. Nicely decorated with comfy beds and sofas. Well equipped kitchen with a lovely terrace out the back. Loved the little extras like kids games and books. Fantastic find and highly recommend.
This property was perfect for the family of six that stayed there. Also an excellent, safe play area and brilliant off road parking, all close to centre.
We came to Keswick for my husband to compete in the ‘lakesman’ we had a fabulous week and the cottage was excellent. Clean and spacious with everything you could need. The owners had thought of everything. The garage was a great space for a wet dog! Comfy beds and wonderful showers. The location opposite fitz park was ideal. Keswick itself is marvellous for walking Skiddaw and Cat bells from the door. Can’t fault it in any way. Thank you
Mountain View is ideally situated in the centre of Keswick with its own parking and views to die for. It is clean and comfortable with all the facilities for an excellent holiday. The staff at Keswick Cottages were very friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this property.
We stayed in Park View in May and enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness of this beautiful apartment,. We will certainly be coming again. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
Had a great time, great flat and location, very clean and comfy, only issue we had was the outside stairs leading to the flat, the top two stairs were high, and was caught out a couple of times.
We have enjoyed yet another family break in Keswick. We have stayed in Daisy Cottage few times already and certainly will be coming back!
Couldn't fault this lovely flat in such a convenient location. We were very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
We had a lovely week apartment is lovely comfortable ideal location Keswick cottages staff are always friendly respond quickly with any queries
We decided to stay in Keswick for our Lake District Holiday and we where so glad we found the Fellseeker with Keswick cottages. The Customer Service was great! Whenever I called or mailed to get help with my booking they helped me out! Our arrival went smooth, just the Parking space was a bit small, but we made it to park there. The Cottage was clean, well equipped and very spacious. We stayed there with 2 Adults and a 1 year old, but it wouldn’t have been a problem to add 2 more adults. Keswicks Town Centre is around the corner, and you leave the cottage and arrive at the lake within ...more
We have stayed in "Coledale " several times previously. It is clean, comfortable and well-equipped, as well as being convenient for the amenities of Keswick and the beautiful surroundings.
The cottage was well presented, spotlessly clean and lots of modern appliances. Great peaceful location and convenient for driving into Keswick but also for getting around to other parts of the Lake District. Keswick Cottages themselves were very helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would love to stay again next time we are in the area.
Back again to Bridge Mews for the fourth time. Same standard as always clean, comfortable and cosy. Lovely enclosed garden for dog to have a run around. Hope to be back next year. Thanks.
We stayed the last week in June. The location is perfect we could have not used the car for a week had we not wanted to go out and about a couple of days. Comfy and clean and equipped with everything you need. An excellent week with excellent weather!
Spent a lovely week at Appletree to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. Excellent accommodation with lots of well thought out extras. Comfortable throughout apart from the beds which were like sleeping on concrete. Please note that this property is situated on a very quiet housing estate and not all the neighbours appear welcoming of visitors. Very little going on in Portinscale, no shop and the only pub never seemed open. Keswick is within easy reach and has plenty of amenities though. The Chalet in Portinscale is worth a visit for lovely food and drinks. Superb views front and back from th...more
Staying at Acorn Cottage was perfect. The cottage was perfect and so close to the centre of Keswick.
This was our second stay at Byways, a very lovely and well located cottage with an easy walk into town or to Derwentwater (take the path beside the Church for a shortcut). The bed linen was spotless and beds very comfortable. The kitchen was equipped for every need. Since our last visit they have even added a Nespresso machine which for me is a definite bonus but unfortunately I had taken ground coffee with me for the cafetière. On our last visit we marked it down due to only being able to get lukewarm water in the bath but we got it sussed this time. Our tip is to let the bath water ru...more
This 3 storey town house was just what we needed for our 4 strong walking party . It is centrally located , ideal for dining out in the evening and the occasional drink ! The townhouse offered plenty of space across the 3 floors so that we weren’t on top of each other . The 2 shower rooms were essential after a long day of walking The kitchen was very well equipped and the house extremely clean when we arrived The previous occupants had mistakenly taken the spare a set of keys home with them , Keswick Cottages were very responsive in sorting this out for us , Overall highly recommen...more
I have stayed here many times and never been disappointed. The cottage is immaculate and is so well equipped. It is situated on a narrow quiet road so a relaxing sleep assured. The village shop is only a 2 minute walk away and sells everything you might need to buy. Give the delicious ice cream a try. One has lovely views from the rear of the property. Plenty of walks for the active holiday maker right from the door and if you do not want to use your car there is also a good bus service. Hopefully I will be able to return many times in the future.
A nice cottage in Portinscale a one mile walk to Keswick. The cottage is clean and kitchen well provisioned. Beds comfortable and two large bedrooms and a nice single. Small outside area. Parking space provided is small but there is also parking near pub or roadside, both ok. You can walk from the cottage to Derwentwater or Catbells or other local walks. Lots of walks nearby from Skiddaw to lakeside walks. A nice cottage in a good location.
We arrived to find a spotlessly clean well aired cottage. We were a bit disappointed that The Royal Oak pub had closed down but found the Coledale Inn very welcoming and friendly, with great food and excellent ales on tap . The location is stunning and a real dream for people like us who enjoy walking with dogs . There is an unlimited choice of walks from the door. Even though when we booked the holiday we did not realise that it was half term week, we never found it crowded nor did the standard of facilities available drop. The cottage itself had every conceivable home comfort and was...more
We had a pleasent stay at Elm cottage It is in walking distance from shops and the busses and the lake. Iris rather small and has almost no privacy due to carparking next to the cottage There is no garden.
Blencathra is a lovely property , ideal for exploring the Lakes . Hence this was the second time we have stayed there and hopefully we will be back again . Blencathra was very clean and tidy and well equipped. It has the addition of a really nice conservatory leading onto the well maintained garden with lovely views of the hills beyond There are two easy walks into Keswick so it is very close to the centre but in a quiet location . Thoroughly recommended
This house was very clean and very well equipped with a great kitchen-diner and very comfortable beds. We were pleased with the TV with Sky and Prime and also the Echo speaker! The location is very good being 15 minutes from Booths & Coop supermarkets and 5 minutes from Spar. It was very easy to walk in along the River Greta through Fitz Park into the town. We walked around Derwentwater from the house, took the bus to Buttermere and walked the excellent old railway line to Threlkeld. No car for a week!
This was the perfect cottage for us, we've stopped in a lot of dog friendly cottages and you can tell dogs have been in there, you can't with the Fairbanks, it was spotlessly clean. The location is ideal, in a quiet road with a bridge over to the park a stones throw away, the town is a 2 minute walk. We will be returning.
Maiden Moor was the perfect base for us. Apartment is very well equipped and cleaned to a high standard. We couldn't believe how close we were to the centre but it was so quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be booking again in the future. It definitely felt like a home from home. Recommended highly 5 stars.
Felt at home straight away. Words can't do the views justice amazing. Loads of walks on the doorstep. Cottage well equipped.
Very good short stay in beautiful part of the lakes. It was short, easy distance from home and had everything you could require. It was very pleasantly decorated and furnished and provided all our needs. Would definitely stay there again.
Really enjoyed our stay at Bridge Cottage. The location is excellent and the cottage has everything you need. Allocated parking is a bonus so if you did want to go anywhere in the car you didn't have to worry about parking on your return. The cottage is nicely decorated and the kitchen is great. Enjoyed good weather so we were able to enjoy meals and drinks outside. Would definitely stay here again.
A great place for a stay. Easy walking into town and walks around the lake and nearby by peaks. When contacting Keswick cottages the phone was answered quickly and politely and our concerns dealt with.
Perfect for a couple or young family - 4 adults might find the accommodation a bit cramped. Not sure how warm the property would be for a Winter stay. As usual in an older property a little TLC would not go amiss in a few places but this in no way detracted from our stay.
The Ridgeway was excellent and in the perfect location for us and our 2 dogs. It was very spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. I would highly recommend The Ridgeway and will be booking to stay again.
Roslin is ideal for a family of 4 with good facilities and is well equipped The mud room is especially useful with a dog and/or after a wet walk. Nice cosy fire (tip here is only have it on low as it is fierce) Good parking for 2 cars and cheap beer on Monday evening at the Farmers Arms Would return again and good value
Despite the typical Lake District weather we enjoyed a lovely stay in Alison's View. Very clean and comfortable house, well equiped and just minutes away from shops, restaurants and Derwent Water.
We really enjoyed our stay in Apartment 3, its in a great location and very comfortable, once again the property was spotlessly clean and with great features. Beds were all comfortable and rest of the apartment is really set up for a relaxing holiday. Booking through Keswick Cottages is simple and the best customer service we have had in the Lakes (or anywhere else), really helpful and friendly. Only gripe was the hot water (or lack of it), lots of fiddling to get a hot shower and a bath which was frustrating, we had a small issue over parking on day one but that was quickly resolved...more
Perfect accommodation for my husband and I. Very clean and modern. Wonderful views from the lounge, kitchen and bedroom. A very well equipped apartment. Perfect location. Will definitely be returning.
Loved our stay. Very handy in relation to the other two cottages i rented for the family. Right next door to the major food shopping supermarket in town. The only concern was the shower which was difficult to control , in fact impossible to control if used on high. It was either too hot or too cold! It had to be used in eco mode.
Couple of minor suggestions: New frying pan and tongs needed. The outside table for Bridge Mews is marked as such. It might be handy to do likewise for the outside tables for the other units in the block as it is unclear which relates to which.
A great cottage in a great location that is well looked after year after year. While the price has more than doubled since we started staying here having looked at other options Stanger is still our top pick.
Isabel Cottage has everything you will need for a stay in Keswick. It is right in the heart of the town. The lane to access the property is quite narrow but this is all explained in the information. The owners have thought of everything right down to a little pack with teatowels scourer etc. We ate out all the time but you will want for nothing if you prefer to cook for yourself. The whole house is a little dream home away from home from an extra large comfy bed to a great walk in shower. Just book it, you will not be disappointed
Jasmine cottage was ideally placed for a lovely walk into keswick. Everything you need within this cute little place. Lovely spacious bathroom and comfortable sitting room. The chalet tearoom next door was a lovely place right on your doorstep. Great food. Convenient for catbells, Derwentwater lake shore walk and derwentwater marina.
The apartment was comfortable and spotlessly clean. We have stayed here quite a few years and keep coming back. It’s such a good location with fantastic views over the fells. As a customer of Keswick Cottages I feel very well cared for and catered for. We have stayed at several of their properties and they have all had the same high standard of comfort and cleanliness.
Great location and lovely cottage. Darker blinds or curtains would be appreciated in the bedroom. Outdoor space isn’t very inviting. Used to store the bins, but has potential as a lovely outdoor space. Thanks for a lovely stay, would recommend.
Lovely cottage in great location . Beautiful enclosed back garden with stunning views great for our dog Ruby. Comfy bed with quality linen & comfy living room sofa. Had everything we needed . Would highly recommend .
Sam's Cottage is a spacious and comfortable apartment. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and has everything you need for self-catering. Perfect location in the centre of Keswick.
Great location. Well equipped and clean the property offers everything you could need for an enjoyable break. Would recommend.
A great little cottage in an ideal spot for exploring Kendal and surrounding area. Two good size bedrooms and great bathroom. Lovely comfortable living room . Kitchen with table and four chairs, all utensils, crockery etc you could wish for . The back of the property has a small seating area , it isn’t particularly private but also has a small garden and two parking spaces. Easy to walk to Kendal, some lovely local walks . A great friend for a holiday in Kendal
A pleasant stay in the well-located house, in the beautiful town of Keswick. The rooms were spacious and clean with everything you might expect including fully equipped kitchen, wifi. Extremely decent location, a short walk to shops and pubs and close the car park (permits were provided).
The appartement is tiny but comfortable with a very practical kitchen. River Greta flowing below the bedroom windows makes you sleep well. If you like fell walking you will have trouble storing your gear, especially when it is raining and your gear is soaking wet. Overall we had a pleasant stay, with town centre and other shops nearby. Don’t forget to take a stroll through Fitz Park. Notice: - shower doors do not close properly - shower drainage seems blocked
Stayed at Manesty House back end of January 2022.Very impressed with the facilities ,everything you need after a long walk .Warmth and a great space to relax in .Bedrooms furnished to a high standard as were the bathrooms and living space .Open plan lounge area upstairs with great uninterrupted views across Keswick town and Skiddaw .Kitchen equipment was of a high specification ,needed to look at the instructions a few times to make sure using in the right way ,especially the induction hob. Manesty house very close to town centre ,a downhill walk that took approx. 10 mins to reach main stree...more
The cottage is an excellent base being so close to the shops & also in walking distance to some great walks. The cottage was adequately equipped. The highlight being the outside seating area off the master bedroom. It was nice eating outside in privacy whilst enjoying great views of the surrounding mountains. Parking was a bonus for central Keswick, but beware it is really tight & only a small or medium size car will fit. To compensate a parking permit was a good gesture. In summary we would recommend provided it doesn't go up too much in cost
We wanted to be very central for our visit to Keswick so Crandy Nook was perfect for that. As the property is on 3 floors, you do find you're up and down stairs a lot, so only good for very mobile people and potentially not great if you have young children! There was no soap or toilet roll on our arrival but that was sorted out for us very quickly. I wonder what the house would be like in summer as we found it very warm (despite heating not being on), and we struggled to open some windows.
