Lovely cottage perfect for getting around with great facilities all around The lemon drizzle cake was a lovely touch and tasted amazing Thank you for our short break
Ellergill provided everything we needed for a fantastic family stay in Keswick. The property is clean, spacious and well equipped and perfectly placed for you to enjoy everything that the Lakes offers.
Love the house, the location, layout and how it is decorated. Super well-equipped and comfortable. Log burner is magical!
Our second stay in this superb property and we have already booked to return . The owners obviously care about their guests and really have thought about everything . The house , with off road parking , is in a quiet , peaceful location within walking distance of Keswick centre . This property is expertly managed by Keswick Cottages . They are friendly , helpful and most importantly local . It was good to have a face to face chat with Sarah . Our thanks not only to Sarah but to all the team .
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Keswick Townhouse , the property itself was spacious and clean and the location was perfect . It is an excellent base for a stay in Keswick being within walking distance of everything you need. We had an issue at the property but the hosts were extremely attentive and resolved it instantly . Would definitely book with Keswick Cottages again, excellent service start to finish.
We had the pleasure of enjoying this new holiday property. Everything has been thought of for a relaxing, comfortable stay and more. We would stay again and highly recommend to others. Although next to the Water Treatment Works you cannot see them from the property so do not let this deter you from booking.
This was a special holiday for us to celebrate a milestone birthday. We chose Cherry Garth because we have stayed there several times before and know that it is an excellent property. Only downside for us was that previously we have been able to book on a reduced occupancy basis and so, as this wasn't available this time, the property was too big for 2 people and 2 dogs and therefore expensive for us. That said we had a wonderful time at a wonderful property.
Second time here, as always beautiful. Near town centre, booths on your doorstep, so comfortable and clean. Thank you again Keswick cottages.
Lovely accommodation, well equipped kitchen, beds comfortable. Great location ,very close to all amenities. Will book again for future visits to Keswick.
An spacious and very comfortable apartment, in an ideal location. Although central it was quiet. I would certainly recommend it. Be aware, it is up over 25 steps. !
Excellent location, enjoyed many walks from the door Beautifully refurbished, good layout, particularly liked the open plan kitchen/living space which worked well for us Excellent utility room with great facilities for drying wet kit Only a few minutes drive from Keswick if you need a supermarket shop, but essentials available in village shop
Spotless, comfortable, really well maintained bungalow, in a quiet location. With parking as a bonus & the garden is as well maintained the inside.
This was a beautiful house loved the location. The comfortable beds , the great kitchen and gorgeous lounge there was 8 of us and lots of space to enjoy Keswick
Had a fabulous week stay in this fabulous apartment every need catered for immaculate location brilliant next to booths and bus station and short walk into center highly recommended can’t wait to come back thank you
Have stayed at numerous holiday cottages and this is the best all round property ever, would recommend highly
Very comfortable, clean and centrally located accomodation. There is a tight entry, followed by a staircase which was a bit difficult with luggage. However, it was worth it with the great rooftop views from upper floor windows. The carpark was easy but had no lock which caused problems allowing access to other cars.
This is the second time we have stayed in this apartment and won’t be the last. The apartment is home from home, very comfortably sleeps four. The two double bedrooms are very spacious and beds are so comfortable. Only issue is their is a lot of stairs up to the apartment certainly not suitable for the infirm. Customer service from Keswick cottages was outstanding, after I left my bag after checking out nothing was a problem to get it returned.
We booked this for Christmas. We love Keswick but did not want on street parking because we anticipated and it transpired, that the roads would be full. This cottage had a garage which was perfect, right in the centre of Kewsick. The cottage was spotlessly clean. We stay in many holiday cottages which say spotless and other guests leave reviews saying they are spotless but you notice ages old dust on lampshades etc. Alison's View was definitely the best presented cottage we have stayed in. It actually was spotlessly clean. Towels and bed linen are provided which is really good because sp...more
Excellent appartment. Great location so didn't need to use the car all week. Would definitely stay again.
This cottage was in a great location bordering the beautiful and interesting Fitz park and easy to get to Keswick town centre. It was very well appointed and exceptionally clean and warm on our arrival. Appreciated this! It had everything we could possibly want for our stay. We WILL be back!
Skiddaw Skies is a large and comfortable property situated in an ideal position for access to the town while giving spectacular views of the fells around Keswick. Our stay was perfect, communications were good and the accommodation was actually better than the online images. Close to town but quiet and very comfortable. Nicely updated to include a lovely main bathroom, a modern kitchen and bedrooms thoughtfully equipped with nice bedding and pillows you can actually sleep on. En suite to the two rooms we used, again well appointed, although if you're taller than average you may need to watc...more
INCREDIBLE - that's the best word I can describe this gorgeous, perfect cottage. Located in the former Swan Coaching Inn. It's immaculate inside. First off, the views, from every aspect of this gorgeous place - front and back, the views are breathtaking. you walk up the little stairs to your own private front door, and into a little cloak -where you can leave boots/coats, and then up 3 or 4 stairs and into the lounge. A true "welcome home" feeling. There are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (ensuite and the other bathroom a single step from the bedroom), a great brand new kitchen, with everything...more
Excellent cottage , immaculate inside , great parking spot which is bonus in Keswick - in great spot in Keswick . Will be back !!! Thank you
We have stayed in Keswick Cottages properties many many times and in Greta Bank several times. All good. However the seating in the lounge is now a bit dated and not very comfortable, especially for older customers. The light over the sink in the en suite does not work. We did report this a couple of visits ago.
A lovely cottage with amazing views. Very comfortable beds, well equipped for self-catering, and ideally located for access to wonderful walks. We will definitely be back!
this is a fantastic cottage for two, all you need for a break away. location was excellent , we walked into Keswick for shopping and from the cottage to local pubs and cafes. We found all we needed within the cottage and it was comfortable and cosey.
Daisy Cottage is ideally situated in the centre of Keswick. Comfortable cottage which was very well equipped for self catering. Unfortunately the cottage did not provide instructions for any of the devices. Took us a day to work out how to turn on electric fire. We have never used on before. Couldn't use oven at all again not used to that way of cooking. Heating on a fixed temperature which left the main bathroom freezing. We contacted Keswick Cottages and they were very helpful. With instruction booklets and the ability to adjust the heating this would be a super holiday cottage. Parkin...more
Everything we needed was provided to make us feel comfortable and Appletree felt like a home and not just a holiday rental.
Everything was as it should be. The house was very clean and warm. Cooking equipment was a very high quality. Excellent location for restaurants and walking. No complaints here. Looking forward to staying again.
Stay for 1 week and had no complaints. Very clean, tidy and fitted accommodation. Kitchen has everything you need with plenty of space to relax. Comfortable sleeping with handy black out blinds. Parking directly outside of the property and located within 2 minute walk of the high street. Would recommend
Beautiful property, tasteful decor, well equipped, warm & very comfortable. Lovely garden too. We loved our stay here & would highly recommend it to others. Only downside, we struggled with the parking. Garage very tight, parked the second vehicle (mini countryman) inside but then struggled to get out of the car as couldn't fully open the car door. Stopped using the garage after this.
Perfectly located in the village, just a few steps from the local shop and less than 5 minute walk to 2 excellent pubs serving excellent meals. The cottage benefits from parking to the front, and a secure small garden to the rear with outstanding views of Latrigg, Skiddaw range, Blencathra and Barrow and has a small table and chairs. Kitchen is very well equipped and spacious and the lounge is quite large but cosy and warm, the gas fire makes for an even cosier feel. Plenty of storage downstairs. Stairs are slightly steep but lead to a long landing and 2 bedrooms, bathroom and seperate toilet,...more
Our family stayed in this fabulous house over the New Year. It had everything we needed spacious comfortable and great location for the town. The size of the kitchen is a plus big table where we could eat or play board games. I would definitely recommend this house;.
A really lovely cottage on the edge of town , with parking. Really well maintained with every comfort. This was our 6th visit and never disappointed
Had a wonderful stay at Shelley Cottage, it's beautifully and tastefully presented. Everything was as expected, very clean, comfy beds, great bathrooms. Loved it.
The apartment is very clean and comfy situated in a very central part of Keswick. Dog friendly with all the facilities that you need. I would highly recommend this place.
This is our second stay in Greta Howe. We have stayed in Keswick many times and this has become our favourite accommodation. Everything about it is excellent. We love the quirky interior and the history of the place. The layout really works, it’s cosy and comfortable. Everything you need is provided. The location is ideal.
Had a great 4 night stay at Ridgeway, the accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Will look forward to staying again in the future.
Pleasant stay, great location close to everything. Property is clean and comfy, stayed before and would definitely stay again. Only issue is with the gate at the side to the rear doesn't close properly and dogs can get out onto the road.
We’ve stayed here about 6 times now and it’s a great little cottage in an ideal location. Lovely to see the pheasants, ducks and robins in the garden. Beautifully clean and warm when we arrived. Keswick cottages has outstanding customer service and fixed the issue with the missing internet cable within 30 minutes! Thank you again!
The apartment was extremely clean and warm and very welcoming on our arrival. Bed was very comfortable, slightly disappointed it was only a double but still comfortable. Everything you could need in the kitchen and heating remained constant to keep apartment warm. Only negative point was the noise from stairs where people came in and out late at night as walls very thin.
We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Tithe Cottage. Yes the property is small, but it's cosy and provided all the comforts we needed. The location is perfect, only a 2-3 minute walk to the main square. With a CoOp over the road opposite, you don't need to use the car at all if you're not intending to venture out of Keswick. Only word of caution (which we had read about) is the parking spaces. The space directly outside the front door is really only big enough for the smallest of cars. There is an overflow car park behind which is bigger, but access under the arch is very tight. All in all th...more
Our second stay at Rose Bank, very comfortable, everything you need and the location couldn’t be better, great walks straight from the door and beautiful views as well!
Had a wonderful week in a Keswick cottages property once again, properties are all outstanding you can’t fault them.
Perfect location for what we wanted. The cottage was very comfortable with a decent spec. We wanted to ark up and just explore the Keswick surroundings. Two small gripes: the alleyway leading in the courtyard was horrendous, we got in ok but really struggled to get back out. I'd advise to park elsewhere. Also the cooker wasn't easy to work. However once we realised it was still in showroom mode, it wasn't too bad. The staff came out to help, very promptly but we sorted ourselves.
Elm Cottage is a lovely 2 bedroom cottage in central Keswick. It is well equipped, warm, comfortable and has the added benefit of an allocated parking space. We've stayed there twice now and will definitely stay there again. Booked via Keswick Cottages who are our go to agent. Very professional and clear instructions on everything to do with the property.
We had a lovely stay in Tawny Cottage. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. We loved the open fire - it was spacious but also cosy! Easy access to beautiful scenery and walking. Thanks for a great Christmas stay.
Enjoyed a stay here with another family member. A great location, kitchen well fitted albeit would be small for 4 people. Lovely views from lounge. Personally I did not find either of the twin beds very comfortable but may just be me, as personal preference. Could do with some non-slip mats in bathrooms. Overall a very enjoyable stay again in Keswick and this is such a good place near the centre.
Our first trip to North Lakes and have fallen a bit in love. Glenderamackin ticked all our boxes: spacious, modern but still quaint, bike shed, well equipped kitchen, cosy and warm. Also a really great location just off the A66 and a couple of miles from Keswick (lumpy miles if you go by bike). Planning to book same time next year. Keswick Cottages were a joy. Everything was really well explained and when I asked questions by email they replied within 12 hours.
We enjoyed our stay at barf cottage it was in a great location not far from Keswick, whinlatter and a great pub on the doorstep serving good food and beer Accommodation was great with nice comfy beds, spacious kitchen and lounge The only thing I would want to change is a bigger and smart TV in the lounge, but apart from that we enjoyed our stay and would stay again and would recommend
This property is perfect, it is in a great location very close to everything without being noisy. The house is close to Fitz Park, the town centre, the bus route and the car parks. The property is dog friendly but doesn’t have a ‘dog unfriendly’ look or smell. All rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished well, the house is very spacious, well equipped with all you could need for a stay whether it’s a short weekend stay or longer. We have stayed in this house a couple of times now both as a group of 10 and a group of 4 there’s plenty of space/furniture/equipment for all. There is also outs...more
Lovely apartment in the centre of Keswick on Lake road . The allocated parking space is very small ok if you have a small car. We enjoyed our stay .
Provided an excellent base for our stay in Keswick. Very handy for the town and the surrounding areas.
A very cosy, convenient cottage for Keswick centre, very easy walking to all amenities. Parking a bonus with the car behind the property, although unless you get the angle just right when coming out of the space, it can appear to be a bit tight to get onto the lane to get out again!
Another cosy short break at Byways. Raining again but we can only afford to go out of the peak seasons! The cottage was very clean as usual and has everything we need. Location is walking distance from all facilities and there is plenty of street parking. I think people have mentioned this before but it would be good if arrival time could go back to 2pm instead of 4pm so that some of the first day could be enjoyed
Well presented property in good location. Kitchen and lounge areas were fine for 6 people but would probably be a bit small if 8 people were in the property
We had a lovely short break at Birchgate. It is very cosy and the open fire was great. Short walk into Keswick centre too. Would recommend.
We had a comfy stay at Roslin. Clean and warm when we arrived, the house suited all our requirements. Comfy, if a little hard beds, but we slept well. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge comfy. The kitchen could use an extractor fan and better lighting, but these are minor points. Because of the weather we didn't use the back garden. The views of Skiddaw are great and the location, close to Keswick and entirely walkable is good.
As ever the stay at the cottage was excellent in our eyes. As usual the property was spick and span with all the necessary items to have an enjoyable stay. The property is within walking distance to the town centre, Booths and Derwentwater, hence why we choose the property yet again for our stay. The only issue that we didn't realise this time, was that the car could not be parked in carpark opposite the house as we could do in the past. This was our error in not reading the full description of the property which did mention the change. We parked in the Central Carpark for the duration of ...more
Crandy Nook is a lovely place to stay - warm, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. One of the beds hadn't been made up on arrival but after a quick phone call they sorted it within 10 minutes. Pillows could be a little comfier but that's just personal preference. Great location and parking permits were very handy. Highly recommend.
Lovely area, great views etc but the cottage is very old and tired. Bathroom new bit kitchen is very poor and old. Damp under one cupboard, you have to guess what the dials on the grill and oven are as they are so worn. It wasn’t the cleanest either, cob webs in kitchen and the back yard had wobbly flags which also need attention. Needs bringing up to date and would be lovely little cottage.
Fantastic week at Brandlehow cottage nestled in beautiful, tranquil surroundings. Superb customer service from Keswick Cottages.
Sams cottage sits in an excellent location in the centre of Keswick. Not directly off the street, but through a narrow archway. Convenience store across the road any many restaurants and bars only feet away. The lake is approx 15min walk away. Cottage is well equipped and comfortable, however would benefit from a king sized bed. If you bring a dog the only close green space is St John's Church which is 5 mins up the road.
Lovely place, comfortable beds. A little remote for our liking but it was peaceful. Upstairs shower tends to flood so needs looking at. No washing machine which could be a problem if staying longer than a weekend. We didn’t order towels but they were on the beds which was a bonus
