Everything was as it should be. The house was very clean and warm. Cooking equipment was a very high quality. Excellent location for restaurants and walking. No complaints here. Looking forward to staying again.

Lovely 4 bed townhouse house (1 large ground floor bedroom and shower room). Well equipped. Courtyard garden. Pet friendly. Beautiful views from living room (Skiddaw) and within walking distance of Derwentwater, with theatre by the lake, access to boat trips etc. Good location in Keswick. Decorated to high standard. Accommodated our party of 6 adults and 2 children without any overcrowding. Beds very comfy! Parking permits issued for cars to use car park. No parking outside property. Only need to take this into account if severe mobility issues. Fab property and would return.

House in central location but extra attention to detail needed.

The town house is on a main road and so if you are a light sleeper then this isn’t the place for you. The old saying put the wood in the hole is literal in this property and the noise on the ground floor is loud with it sounding like the front door is open. Location is great for exploring Keswick. Whilst the house had everything we needed, the cleanliness fell significantly short of what we have experienced before from the same company which was disappointing. The property could do with a bit of TLC to make this a more enjoyable stay. Parking wasn’t an issue for us in winter but can imagine in summer it may be more challenging.

We're so sorry that you felt there were some shortcomings this time. As soon as you made us aware there were some cleanliness issues the Housekeeping manager called round to see you and rectify them personally straight away. This is certainly not our usual standard and please be assured additional training has since been completed with the cleaner. The Townhouses are situated in central Keswick only a stones throw from the lovely independent shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants etc. so while this is extremely convenient, unfortunately some noise is inevitable. We do look after a number of beautiful properties on the outskirts of Keswick and the surrounding villages so if you would prefer a more peaceful/rural location please get in touch and we would be happy to make some suggestions for your next holiday. We hope to welcome you and your family again soon!

We found 5 Townhouse very warm and comfortable. The kitchen has everything that you need and the bathrooms are excellent.
The only problem we had was that next doors internal doors made a loud bang when closing, probably could do with slow closing door closers being fitted. Overall excellent house and we would use it again.

Stayed at number 5 the town house for the weekend, there was a party of 8 of us to celebrate my Husband’s 50th Birthday. Ideal location for exploring Keswick right in the town centre. Beautiful accommodation very spacious, clean and everything you need is there. Loved the outside area to the back great for sitting out, as we had perfect weather. I would highly recommend this property excellent value for money. I would no hesitate to stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed the house and it’s close proximity to everything you could need. Well appointed and comfortable with fantastic views.

Keswick cottages have excellent customer service and would definitely recommend.

The property is lovely and located right in the town centre which is ideal. Couple of issues, blinds broken in front bedroom and kitchen, the bed in the downstairs bedroom was damp to the touch and the room smells musty as does the kitchen in the mornings. This could have been that the property hasn’t been used over the winter. We all felt it needed a little TLC. Overall we had a really good time.

We loved our visit to No.5, having stayed in several different cottages and B&Bs in Keswick over the years, of varying standards. It's a brilliant location, especially as we were there for the Film Festival, and the house is spotlessly clean, furnished to a high standard and very comfortable. The addition of two car park permits was really appreciated. Communication with the owners was excellent throughout - friendly, welcoming and efficient. Two small caveats: I wish there'd been a hairdryer provided, and we'd've preferred a few more basics like cling film/foil and maybe oil, herbs etc in the kitchen as you have to buy/bring all that yourself, unlike other houses we've rented, but I appreciate that might be a Covid hangover or a policy to enable staff to keep the kitchen and cupboards clean. To balance that, I should say there are generous supplies of hand wash, shampoo etc. Generally, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return to this or any of the other cottages on the row.

This was our second stay in one of the townhouses for Christmas and again it didn’t disappoint. Location is fabulous, the house is very well equipped with everything you need and the customer service was excellent from the Keswick Cottages team. To top it off, they’d arranged for a lovely thoughtful Christmas present for our daughter! Looking forward to staying again!

Our first stay in one of the Townhouse properties and all excellent as always. Although located on the main road it is really well positioned for getting about Keswick itself. Would return and book again.

The house is so close to the town centre and the long stay car park is a minutes walk away.

The house itself caters for all needs, well stocked with all we needed. Very comfortable and the small courtyard still had the sun into the early evening.

Keswick Cottages staff, especially Rebecca, were spot on. For me, they are a highly recommended company.
