Two Chimneys is a characterful, traditional Lakeland terraced cottage dating back to the 1800s. It is situated on a quiet lane with no through traffic, at the end of a small row of former farm cottages only a short walk form the town centre.

Great stay! Easy parking, close to the walking path, easy access to town

Great stay at two chimneys! Our group = total of 4 adults; 1 couple, 2 singles and a dog, so felt very spacious across the 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. The bathrooms were newly renovated - loved the shower! Well stocked kitchen with all the gadgets you'd need while away from home. Perfect location for us with very easy parking for 2 cars (we only had 1, but a friend visited and could easily park). Only suggestion (and maybe we just couldn't find it) - suggest you put a light in the shed for table football!

Keswick Cottages couldn't have been better, all the pre-arrival comms, info was easily at your fingertips - top notch. Look forward to renting again! Thank you for a spectacular time!

Lovely weekend at Two Chimneys to celebrate my birthday! The information provided beforehand was extremely helpful and detailed. The cottage itself is within walking distance to Keswick and had enough space for the our 3 teen/adult children (my daughter is the shortest of the 3 so she got the small bunk room) and us. We also brought our dog, but be aware there is no enclosed space to let furry friends out, so a little toilet stroll is required. The facilities were great, although the fridge is just an under the worktop one, so be mindful how much food you bring. Bathrooms were lovely and no complaints about the beds at all. There is a petrol station just around the corner which we used for a couple of forgotten items when we arrived, which wasn't extortionate. All in all a lovely weekend, even the sun shone. Would definitely return.

4 nights at this lovely cottage. Immaculate and homely with a sense of luxury. Kitted out with everything you need, tasteful decor in a great location within a 10 minute walk into Keswick. Fantastic base to visit all the lakes hotspots. 30 mins drive to Windermere. Loved it!!

This was our second stay at 2 chimneys. The 2 bathrooms have just been refurbished to a very high standard. The cottage is in aa ideal position less than 10 minutes walk to the centre of Keswick and with easy access to local walks. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking again in the future.

Two Chimneys cottage was absolutely perfect, it had everything we needed, with extras. Lovely welcome gifts for us and the dog. It was immaculate and very cosy and comfortable. Location was excellent, walks near by and a short 10 miles n stroll into town. Thank you and we will definitely stay again when visiting Keswick.
