We have stayed Crosthwaite Gardens serval times now and it never disappoints!
Perfect location with parking and the place is so clean and warm with a fantastic table tennis in the garage which we made good use of due to the wet weather!
We just love it and will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Crosthwaite Gardens. The rooms were all very well furnished, the beds were comfortable, the lounge was large with comfortable settees and chairs and there was a very big screen tv with sky channels. The kitchen / dining area was spacious and light and all the appliances worked well and were easy to use. The garage had a full size table tennis table which we used a couple of times. The only comment we would make is that the bedrooms would have benefited from some curtains but this is a very small point.

Our second stay in this superb property and we have already booked to return . The owners obviously care about their guests and really have thought about everything .
The house , with off road parking , is in a quiet , peaceful location within walking distance of Keswick centre .

This property is expertly managed by Keswick Cottages . They are friendly , helpful and most importantly local . It was good to have a face to face chat with Sarah . Our thanks not only to Sarah but to all the team .

This is a lovely cosy, welcoming house that is located in a quiet cul-de-sac within easy reach of the town centre and the surrounding countryside. It is clean, well equipped and very comfortable.

This was our third visit and we have already re-booked for next year!

We had a great holiday in Keswick while staying at Crosthwaite Gardens, despite some rainy weather. The property was very clean, comfortable, warm, and well equipped for the four of us plus baby. It's only a five minute walk from the town centre, but is in a very quiet and peaceful location. Thoughtful extra touches were the provision of a waterproof OS leisure map, cool bag, plus other useful items.
The driveway is plenty large enough for two medium size cars, but careful parking was required to allow either car to exit without moving the other.
Keswick Cottages kept us very well informed with arrival and departure information and also contacted us proactively with information about an unexpected short power cut. The provision of a tablet in the property with links to house guides and local information was a great idea and much used!

THIS COTTAGE WAS SITUATED IN A QUITE LOCATION, ONLY A SHORT WALK INTO TOWN. AND FITZ PARK.
KESWICK IS A GREAT LOCATION WITH LOTS OF SHOPS , CAFES AND HOTELS SO THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING TO DO. SO AFTER A BUSY DAY IT WAS NICE TO COME BACK AND RELAX IN THE COMFORT OF A NICE HOUSE AND A VERY COMFORTABLE BED

Cottage was home from home, well equipped with all of the equipment we required.
It was clean and tidy, within walking distance of Keswick town centre, to restaurant’s and supermarket and central for cycling and hiking, we never used our car all week

The bungalow is well equipped and quite spacious. It is very clean. The beds are very comfortable. The location is good - about a 10 minute walk into town.
Just one small comment that only 1 toilet roll per bathroom is supplied, so bring your own or pay extra for more.

This will be our third visit to Crosthwaite Gardens and love the place even more!
The location is perfect. It’s in a lovely and quiet location but only take a few minutes to get into town which is a real bonus.The house is always lovely and warm, well equipped and exceptionally clean and comfortable. Superb table tennis set up in the garage. Great to have off street parking with gates! We will definitely be coming back as we love it so much!

We enjoyed our week at this wonderful property so much that as soon as we returned home we booked it again for a return visit in 2024 . Having been fortunate enough to enjoy self-catering holidays for over forty years we can speak from experience when we say that this property is superb .
Mention must be made of the excellent service provided by the team at Keswick Cottages . We managed to meet Sarah in person and spoke to Rebecca , Anthony and indeed Sarah on the phone . All very friendly and helpful .

We’ve had a lovely stay here. Comfy beds, great showers and toasty warm, especially since the Lakes lived up to it’s name by raining every day. The kitchen was also well equipped to eat in. Enjoyed playing the games they had there, watching a film on Netflix on the large TV or listen to music from the Google Dot or just reading. All in all an enjoyable stay but ordering sun next time!

Absolutely fabulous house with hi tech facilities and very comfortable and warm. Location is perfect. Table tennis in the garage is great. We have spent 3 weeks this year at this house and will be back next year!

6 Crosthwaite Gardens is a beautiful dormer bungalow, which is located in a quiet cul-de-sac and is only a 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Keswick. The property sleeps up to six persons in three very pleasant and comfortable bedrooms. The main bathroom is very large with a separate bath and shower cubicle and there is a lovely ensuite in the main bedroom downstairs. The kitchen is fully equipped for anyone wishing to produce home cooking in this 'home from home' and it is evident that the owners have listened to feedback from previous guests and have made changes to ensure a truly enjoyable stay for future guests, and indeed those who choose to return in the future. The lounge is very comfortable, and the open plan kitchen diner is a lovely place to sit, relax and look out into the garden, which has a variety of fruit trees and plants. We all thoroughly enjoyed playing table tennis in the garage on a number of occasions during our stay. Other nice touches were the Tablet which contained all of the visitor information for the property, as well as other useful pieces of information, and the Smartspeaker in the kitchen. There was plenty of space throughout this property and the parking for two cars on the gated driveway was a bonus. Keswick is a lovely town and served as the perfect base for our family. We completed a number of walks during our stay (Derwentwater, Latrigg, Catbells); we relaxed in Hope Park, we took the launch across Derwentwater and we used local transport to visit Lake Buttermere. We ate out at a number of restaurants including The Round and The Golden Hills, which were excellent. When we return to Keswick we will certainly be looking to stay at this property again.

We were extremely pleased with our cottage. It had everything you could possibly need and more. It was comfortable and spacious and the location was great!

This house was very clean and very well equipped with a great kitchen-diner and very comfortable beds. We were pleased with the TV with Sky and Prime and also the Echo speaker!
The location is very good being 15 minutes from Booths & Coop supermarkets and 5 minutes from Spar. It was very easy to walk in along the River Greta through Fitz Park into the town.
We walked around Derwentwater from the house, took the bus to Buttermere and walked the excellent old railway line to Threlkeld. No car for a week!

This was the second time we have stayed at Crosthwaite Gardens and every bit as enjoyable as the first. The beds are super comfortable and everything you need for a happy and successful self catering holiday is available. There is even a full sized ping pong table in the garage complete with good table tennis bats and ball, gave us a lot of fun on a couple of evenings. Thanks go to the owners who have thought of everything and we will hopefully return again when we next visit the Lakes.

If you're looking for a comfortable, quiet place to stay from which you can easily walk to all local amenities then this is it. Keswick centre is 10 - 15 minutes walk away with restaurants, pubs, attractions etc and just a few minutes more to the lake.
The house is in a quiet cul de sac. It is spacious, clean, warm and equipped with just about anything you could ask for. As a family of 5 adults and a baby we found it ideal. Also felt it was very good value for money.
