We stayed at the Eyrie over the Christmas week and had an amazing stay. The apartment was beautifully decorated for Christmas.
All around the property there were lots of unusual ornaments and pictures. All of the bedrooms were well appointed and certainly my bedroom (the master) on the top floor had beautiful views over The Dodds and Latrigg. On the landing there is a telescope for visitors to view the amazing scenery. My son and his partner whilst using the telescope viewed a gentleman proposing to his girlfriend on the summit of Latrigg. Anyone staying at The Eyrie would be sure to have a wonderful time. We ate out twice during our stay and also enjoyed the drummers who paraded through Keswick and also the Carol singers who performed in the Square.

If I had to give any negative observations it would be that the TV proved rather limited in its available channels. Secondly the kitchen could do with at least one large saucepan suitable to be used for 7/8 people. I used the largest pan to cook pasta for 7 but it was nowhere near big enough. I'm also glad that I ordered a turkey crown for Christmas Dinner and nothing larger as it wouldn't have fitted in the oven.
A useful thing in the showers would be a squeeze to clean surfaces.

Beautifully furnished home in excellent location between the town parks and centre. The ornaments and fittings in the Eyrie are fantastic.
Our only issue was the lack of a spare roll of toilet tissue.

We are a family of 8. The location is great and near to the lake and hiking paths. The house is equipped with everything a family would need and more. Definitely we will book this cottage next year.

This is a breathtaking property. From the moment you step in to the three story house your expectations are surpassed. The space is perfect for 8 people to come together and also to have their own privacy .
The beds are fantastic, and for everyone to have their own private bathroom was a real treat .The penthouse suite also has views from the bath tub as you take a soak . Every room has great views of the mountains . In the evening you are literally 2 minutes away from the town centre, its so convenient .
We have been coming to the lakes for many years but this is by far the best property we have stayed in .
