This was our second stay at Bridge House, again with another family.

We like the central location, close to walks/runs/cycle rides and with parking available for two cards its perfect to park up and leave the car for the week.

The bikes are safe and dry in the bike store.

The children love the garden space, which is unusual for being in the centre of town.

We have stayed in most of the apartments with the Bridge House complex. Always well presented, comfortable, well equipped a real home from home. Parking is very good and spaces clearly marked. Bridge house is the largest accommodation which we have hired. Our daughter and family stayed in Apartment 3. We were gathered for birthday celebration.The Bridge house complex is excellently situated a short walk from town centre. All was well apart from the road noise caused from a pair of metal grids situated directly outside Bridge house. Traffic is busy and every 6 seconds we were disturbed by the “bob-bum” of cars running over the grids. Outside this can be heard from the roundabout some 50m away. We were disturbed in downstairs bedroom and first floor lounge. I can only think this will continue to disturb future customers and it needs complaints to highways to come and sort it out. It did spoil our stay this time at this excellent accommodation.

This was a beautiful house loved the location. The comfortable beds , the great kitchen and gorgeous lounge there was 8 of us and lots of space to enjoy Keswick

We have just returned from a lovely stay in bridge house keswick with the family fantastic house in a great location to explore Keswick and the surrounding countryside.
Bridge house was very clean and has all you need for a great stay lovely kitchen reception room and bathrooms and bedrooms ideal for a family stay, would recommend and will certainly be returning

We have stayed at bridge house on many occasions and keep going back. The location is ideal for walks and the town so you can park you car and not use it until it is time to go home. The house is so comfortable and ideal for large groups and very well equipped.

We have stayed here 5 times in the last 7 years alway found it to top standard, the only downside this time there was no welcome pack, but won’t stop us booking again

After us mixing up dates and having no where to stay we found Bridge House which is an hour away from where we normally stay after ringing up we was all booked in within 10min the lady we spoke to was so nice and understanding and we ended up having one of the best times in the Lakes, the location was perfect with everything on your door step , the house was lovely clean and spacious with all modern cons all the appliances was branded even down to the bed throws being Laura Ashley , Next and M&S what we thought was going to be a nightmare holiday ended up being one of the best we have had 10 Stars all round

Second time we’ve stayed at Bridge House - a lovely, spacious, comfortable and welcoming home for the week. The fantastic and safe garden with play equipment is perfect for our young grandchildren to amuse themselves while the grownups could enjoy the outdoor seating space. It is the second time we stayed in the house. It is comfortable with a good garden and a tennis court that the kids used a lot. It is close to shops and is a good base for walking.

Just had a 2 week stay in Keswick at Bridge House. Property is excellent and our stay very comfortable. The property is well maintained, modern, well equipped and tastefully decorated.
We picked the property as we wanted parking for 2 cars and wanted some where that would take a dog.
The house keeping deserve a special mention for the friendliness and efficiency.

This is our 11th year with Keswick Cottages and as always the property was fabulous.
The only points to mention are the fire in the living room needs replacing - poor performance and the downstairs en-suite shower is not very powerful.

We booked for 6 people,(3 couples,) and a dog . The house was laid out over 3 floors with bedrooms and a bathroom on each floor which made it ideal to give each couple their privacy. The kitchen was well appointed and huge with a table big enough for us all to sit round. The lounge on the first floor gave a lovely view and the furniture was vert comfortable. There was an enclosed courtyard and lawned area to the rear of the property,excellent for the dog. The location was excellent ,close to 2 supermarkets and walking distance to the town centre. The only downside was traffic noise due to the location. Also the single glazed windows were quite drafty despite the heating being warm. The underfloor heating on the ground floor was amazing.All in all I would recommend this property to anyone. Beautiful property,well appointed,excellent location and value for money.

Bridge House was an excellent base for a family get together. Excellent location, just a very short walk into Keswick and Booths and co op just around the corner. The house itself and facilities are very good indeed, we would highly recommend and will definitely return in the future. We rented this with the Bridge appt 1 next door for 6 couples. All lovely coming in. We'll equipped and comfortable. Great location with parking for 2 cars.

We've stayed in Bridge House several times now. It has become a place where the whole family can get together and have a great week walking around Derwentwater and Borrowdale, and usually Buttermere too.
The house is perfectly located - a very easy walk to the Coop or Booths for food shopping, five minutes or less into town and only ten minutes from the lake. It's beautifully presented and very spacious with a well equipped kitchen. We love it.
Keswick Cottages are very helpful, and if there is anything wrong, they're very quick to send someone out and sort it out.

We have spent a week in the Bridge House complex for the past 15 years, and this year in Bridge House itself did not disappoint. It sleeps 8 and is ideal for a larger group - well-equipped, stylish and spacious. Probably the best thing is the location, perched at the bottom of the main street, an easy walking distance to all the shops and cafes Keswick has to offer, and also an ideal start point for beautiful walks in every direction. Highly recommended!

Having used this property for a considerable time now we feel that we know the property like it's our own home.
Over the years there is bound to be wear and tear on the fabric but it dose not show very much on Bridge house. continual improvements are obvious and things getting old do too.
As we and our guests are now getting older ourselves we notice things like how many stairs there are and that there are not as many handrails as we would like.

New frying pan and tongs needed.
The outside table for Bridge Mews is marked as such. It might be handy to do likewise for the outside tables for the other units in the block as it is unclear which relates to which.

The cottage was great, it had everything you could need for a lovely stay, lots of space and very comfy beds, and a lovely garden.
The only minor issue was that there was only one bath sheet per room, rather than per person.
The location was perfect, with plenty to see and do from the doorstep, and with the bus station just around the corner you don't even need to use the car.

This is a very good property for those wishing to base themselves close to all amenities. Local to supermarkets, bus station, town centre and pubs.
Lots of walks can be started from this property without the need of going close to any roads other than the first 100 metres.

A few minor details are:-
Broadband very weak if your not sat in the lounge where the router is.
No trays/holders for soaps/shampoo in the showers which is a disadvantage to the older people.
An array of towels per room but only one bath towel to share between 2 people.

All in all a very clean house, well decorated and accessible to all amenities.

This must be our 5th or 6th stay at Bridge House for a long weekend with a group of friends and it delivers every time. Perfect accommodation, facilities and location. Occasionally we talk about maybe trying somewhere else and every year we come back so I guess that says it all.

We spent a week with our children and grand children, the property is well kept and provided a home from home location for 7 adults and 2 dogs. We have stayed in the property seceral times now and can recommend Keswick cottages for their excellent support during our stay.
