Stayed at this wonderful property for a week over the Christmas holiday period . Everything about this cottage is perfect . Immaculately presented spotlessly clean warm and comfortable. It even has spacious heated drying/ utility room which is brilliant for cleaning and drying muddy boots and clothes after a days walking . I have a larger than average sized car and had no issues with parking. We loved it that much we booked for the same week next year . Fantastic cottage

Having stayed here previously, we were looking forward to coming back. However, we didn't check the website and found it had been somewhat renovated. The carpet had been replaced with hardwood flooring making it cold in the living area, despite turning up the thermostats on the radiators it was still cold. We had to buy a small fan heater to make this area warm. Unable to adjust the timings on the boiler it was cold at certain times of the day, so we had to go out to get warm. On arrival, the dining chairs were upturned on the table and no lights on the Christmas tree as there had been previously, giving the impression nobody was expected. There were no instructions for the oven so we had to guess the settings. We were there for 8 nights and only had 5 dishwasher tablets and two loo rolls. There were only 4 of all crockery and cutlery, which had to be washed after every use so we had to purchase some dishwasher tablets. All in all it was a disappointment, after our last stay. Revised timings of bin collections would have been useful, given what we paid you shouldn't be expected to take rubbish home. Great location.

If you return in the future please know we are a small local agency just up the road from the cottage, and are available throughout your stay (including the Christmas period) should there be anything we can help with. We encourage guests to contact us as soon as any issues come up so that we can rectify these straight away, as it is our top priority that you have a stress-free holiday! Please be reassured that we would have been more than happy to help during your stay, whether that involved visiting the property to help with the heating, providing instructions if needed or supplying extra heaters if it still felt too chilly (it has been extremely cold here recently!). Please also be aware that provisions are not included as standard, although we leave a few complimentary dishwasher tablets, a small amount of washing up liquid and refreshments to get you through the first night in case you arrive late and can't get to the shops. We had a lovely weekend here to celebrate my 40th. Beautifully clean and lovely layout. Ideal for our family of 4. It rained constantly but there is a warm utility room for boots and coats which was ideal. It was minutes from centre of Keswick which we found so handy.

It has very tight parking outside. We managed but found it stressful. Had we brought our bikes on the roof, we would not have had space to get them off.

We absolutely loved the cottage and would definitely recommend- especially if you have a small car.

For guests with larger cars, there is unrestricted on-street parking available close by on the backstreets between Ambleside Road and Penrith Road which may be a good option. Three of us stayed 10 days in Daisy and would book again as it is perfect for a stay in Keswick. Great having heated utility room to store 3 bikes and to dry wet muddy hiking and cycling gear. Also great layout to enable two en-suite bathrooms, most useful. Docked one point from comfort as on chilly days heating struggled a bit in sofa area, could do with an electric fire to boost. Also only four sets of crockery etc in 4 person cottage which is a bit frugal. But all else perfect. Keswick Cottages as usual a joy to book through.

What a lovely property. We loved all the Herdy products and the Daisy theme. Loved the split staircase - we went with our adult son and his partner so it was great for us all to have the extra privacy of our own little space.

The beds were really comfortable and the quality of the fixtures and fittings was superb.

We will definitely be returning!

Close to the centre, down a quiet side street. Cottage was an intrersting shape internally with very comfortable lounge/dining area and kitchen. Scullery equipped with washing machine and tumble drier. Large-screen television in the lounge area. Bedrooms, up short flight of stairs, quite roomy, very comfortable.

Daisy Cottage was all that we might have asked of it. It's central location made it ideal for all that Keswick has to offer, yet only a short distance from buses travelling all over the lakes. The small parking place was an additional bonus.
The only negative comments I would make would be that some additional cutlery and crockery would be helpful, and that some steps would help those of us of smaller statue to reach the top shelves.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would certainly repeat the experience.

We have been coming to Keswick for 25 years. We have stayed in Daisy Cottage a number of times as it is in a great location (and it was the first cottage we stayed in.) There were one or two problems during the week, but these were dealt with quickly and efficiently by the Keswick Cottages team. A great place to stay.

Daisy Cottage is a lovely cottage in an excellent location. The cottage was spotless and the decor is excellent. All in all a brilliant holiday cottage. The only thing missing was a microwave oven but we were ok without one.

Gorgeous house in a fab location - right in the middle of Keswick. Was great having the utility room for sorting kit and drying things.
Parking space was very small and there our van didn’t fit at all

We have enjoyed a wonderful stay in Daisy Cottage. We return regularly and this year enjoyed the benefits of a well thought out renovation downstairs. The new door linking the outhouse with the living area is a boom and helps keeping outdoor gear away from the rest of the property. Especially on rainy days. Before you had to go outside to access it.
The cottage is warm and comfortable. Sitting for four is a bit tight and for visitors like us who eat in a lot a bit more cooking equipment would be handy. The new appliances are excellent.
The on site parking is a boom as well as parking in Keswick can be a nightmare.
Overall a fabulous property in a fabulous location. We will be returning next year.

Daisy Cottage is ideally situated in the centre of Keswick. Comfortable cottage which was very well equipped for self catering.
Unfortunately the cottage did not provide instructions for any of the devices. Took us a day to work out how to turn on electric fire. We have never used on before. Couldn't use oven at all again not used to that way of cooking. Heating on a fixed temperature which left the main bathroom freezing. We contacted Keswick Cottages and they were very helpful.
With instruction booklets and the ability to adjust the heating this would be a super holiday cottage.
Parking is very tight.
Keswick Cottages were super to deal with. Will definitely book with them again

Absolutely wonderful place.

Great location and very easy to find thanks to the directions provided by the hosts. Easy access and departure. Off road parking space directly outside the cottage. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are very good and well proportioned. Utility/drying room (containing washing machine/dryer/iron) was a godsend.

Fully stocked kitchen, TV, internet. Hairdryer for the ladies

Extremely clean and tidy. Will definitely be returning

We really enjoyed our time at Daisy Cottage. It was spotlessly presented and the open-plan style of the downstairs suited us perfectly, with everything close to hand. Great care has been taken over the quality of furnishings and bedding. The separate utility room next door was very useful for when we came back from walking, wet and muddy. Upstairs, the bedrooms were extremely comfortable. There was a collection of games and cards and a few interesting books on the area. Location-wise, it was perfect - central yet quiet. The bus station and Booths supermarket were only a 10 minute walk away and there were excellent sandwich shops and restaurants close by. It also made a change to be able to deal with a small, local agency where the staff were very helpful. As for suggestions for improvement, a few coat hooks by the front door would be most welcome ((there are hooks in the utility, but that is next door). Also the shower pressure in the main bathroom is very low, but not sure if anything can be done about that. We would definitely stay again.

Really great location for exploring Keswick and walking straight from the door up the fells. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed ,home from home. Lovely bed linen and very comfy beds !
The car parking is extremely tight and we wouldn't have managed to fit our smallish car alongside another if next cottage was occupied. Fortunately we had the space to ourselves until the last day . A definite cottage to return to thank you .

The cottage was spotless and contained everything required for a comfortable stay. All the furnishings, fittings and equipment were good quality. The location and Keswick’s good transport links mean you can leave the car and really relax. It was unfortunate that the bin had not been emptied before or during our stay and the electricity to the cooker had been switched off and there were no instructions on how to re- programme the oven. Suggest an old fashioned folder with crucial information preferable to the electronic pad which contained nothing of interest. Also a barrier between the two benches outside to define both spaces and to prevent neighbours sitting outside the windows which was uncomfortable whilst relaxing and eating. Would recommend and would certainly rent again when in the area.

As a regular visitor to Daisy Cottage it doesn’t disappoint. It’s comfortable and compact. The outhouse is a great bonus particularly when coming in wet. The bedrooms are a good size. Big plus is the parking spot provided. A littoral difficult to navigate but once mastered great to be able to park at the door. Its location is excellent for all amenities. This stay it only moved once otherwise with access to the lake and boats we could get to wherever we wanted easily.

A great little cottage only a 5 min walk from the main square. Ideally located for pubs and restaurants. The heating stove in the lounge doesn’t provide any heat so you are reliant on the central heating. The mattress on the double soft was bit to soft for us but this is a personal choice. There are some useful leaflets in the cottage with information on various walks.

Daisy Cottage is in an ideal location for the centre of Keswick. The parking space is not big enough for two cars. The thermostat is in the wrong place as it doesn't adequately heat the lounge area due to the Cottage being open plan. An instruction guide for the dishwasher microwave and oven would be advantageous.

Daisy Cottage is in the centre of Keswick, yet a in quiet location, and within walking distance of the lake. Everything you would need for a self catering stay is provided. A very comfortable cottage and so nice to leave the car parked outside to just step outside and walk everywhere. I would definitely recommend Keswick Cottages.

Charming cottage with wooden roof beams, all clean and comfortable.
Would have preferred summer bedding to be available (e.g. thin blanket), as only thick winter duvets were originally provided.

Daisy Cottage was spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable, and very well furnished. We particularly appreciated having the adjoining utility room to dry things off after walks. The quiet courtyard, only a short walk from shops etc., was a bonus. The parking area appeared tight, but we hadn’t brought a car in view of the excellent bus services.

This is our 9th year and each year we can’t wait to get back. Ideal, compact, well designed cottage located in the centre of Keswick. Parking space, although tight, is a big plus. For walkers it’s ideal. Our car hardly moved as we can walk in all directions from it. Everything is on your doorstep from shops, cinema, restaurants etc.
It’s warm and comfortable and the utility room is great for storing and drying coats, boots etc.
Roll on 2023.

Lovely little cottage that is well furnished and very comfortable. All amenities provided including tea/coffee/milk which was very welcome. It really is in the center of town so great for walking everywhere with no need to move the car. The parking is very very tight. There are only 2 spaces for 2 cottages and when both cars are parked you literally have inches to maneuver in but it is doable. I would recommend this cottage and would stay again.
