Enjoyed our stay . Very well supplied with pots and kitchenware. One very minor criticism - found windows very difficult to open and we prefer to sleep with window slightly ajar but overall a very comfortable stay. Welcome packs much appreciated.

We had a fabulous few days at Gretaside the weather was hot and sunny the whole stay.
The apartment was comfortable, quiet and well equipped, a stones throw from the centre of Keswick and the location near to the park was a bonus for us as we have a dog.
A small cosy apartment suitable for a couple and dog.
We would be happy to stay here again.

The dog and I had a very pleasant stay in the flat that is on the top floor. This overlooks the river and Fitz park, great for walking the dog first thing and last thing at night. It was lovely and peaceful and very handy for the town and Derwent Water.
The shower is not very powerful but otherwise but otherwise everything else is very comfortable.

It was our first time in the Lake District and we wanted to be based in Keswick, we chose this apartment for location and it did not disappoint it was clean and comfortable and had a welcome pack on arrival which was lovely.
A beautiful outlook from the bedroom of the river Greta We had a fantastic relaxing week away and will definitely be returning for another stay!

Lovely apartment in a great location. Warm and clean. Everything needed, included. The only grumble was the shower. It was a poor pressure and kept going hot and cold. We realise it runs off the electric, but that is the only thing I would change.

This is a very comfortable apartment situated in a great location, very convenient for the town centre yet tucked away in a quiet corner overlooking the river. It's quite small but fine for a couple. Got a good night's sleep as it was so quiet and peaceful. Nice to be able to go out and walk along by the river.

Small but very nice 1 bedroom apartment. Bedroom is a bit cramped for two, but overflow can go in the living room! Bed is quite firm, but good. Kitchen is well appointed and functional. When turning on shower use a firm pull on the switch cord.

The apartment was excellent. Very clean and comfortable and the location for the town was great as just a few minutes walk. Also, we have a dog and the location of Fitz Park (behind the apartment) was great and again only a few minutes walk.
I would highly recommend this for a couple.

2nd time of staying here, a small but comfortable flat, dog friendly and a parking space for the car. The view out of the bedroom window over the river and Fitz park is fantastic. Ideal for 2 people who do not need a lot of room and fairly fit as it is on the top floor. It is clean and well equipped. Very close to the town Center and amenities. We love it and hopefully will stay again sometime soon.

Gretaside is in a marvellous location, we parked up and didn't use the car again as everything is accessible by foot. The apartment is smaller than it appears on the pictures, but it is very well appointed and so clean and tidy, for 2 people and a dog, it was perfect.
The only criticism we had is that we found the bed to be very uncomfortable, it is very hard, and by the second day my back was painful, so much so that we decided not to stay on our third night and drove home earlier than planned. The mattress is extremely firm and hard, and it didn't suit us at all, it spoiled what would have been the perfect stay.

The apartment is in a fantastic location adjacent to Fitz Park and also the town centre. This made the holiday! It is actually much smaller than it looks on the photos but is well appointed. Two floors up but that didn’t bother us. Although dog friendly, it was completely carpeted apart from the tiny kitchen which is not ideal for a dog friendly place in the Lake District in February. Consequently we thought the living room carpet seemed a bit grubby. Hard floors would be much more appropriate. The bed was a bit hard for us but that is personal taste. We would stay there again.

The accommodation has an excellent location (close to Keswick centre and Fitz Park). It is in excellent condition and is well maintained. It has its’ own parking space. The wifi and tv are very good. Possible drawbacks for some are that it is on the third floor and so is reached by an outside staircase. It does not have either a dishwasher or a washing machine and there is no hanging space for wet clothes but it is compact accommodation so what do you expect? If I was staying in Keswick for less than a week then it certainly represents excellent value for money and we would certainly be prepared to stay there again.

We stayed here for 3 nights in November.
The location is excellent, central to Keswick, with excellent private parking included.
The property is small but big enough for our needs. And is well decorated throughout.
It was very clean and well looked after and I look forward to staying here again in the future as long as they don’t increase their prices. Would defiantly recommend to any couple looking for a small convenient place to stay in Keswick.
The place we stayed was on the second floor so would not suit anyone who maybe couldn’t manage two flights of stairs.

Compact and bijou but with everything we needed for our 4 night stay in Keswick :-)
A cosy space for the two of us with the space put creatively to use. The apartment is in a lovely quiet location with parking and a short walk from the town.
Great views from the bedroom over Fitz Park to Latrigg Fell and the River Greta bubbling away soothingly underneath our bedroom window was just lovely.

The apartment met our needs perfectly. It was in a great location and we enjoyed exploring Keswick and the surrounding area. The kitchen is small if you’re planning on cooking but it didn’t concern me as I refuse to cook on holiday! It was good to have parking in the town although we didn’t use the car once we’d arrived. Would definitely book again.

We stayed for a week at Gretaside. A lovely little apartment for two and our dog. The bedroom is very small however, the space has been put to good use to ensure wardrobe and drawer space. Excellent location - we only used the car once during our stay as we were able to walk everyday from the apartment. Nice to have Fitz Park on the doorstep for early morning dog walks. It would be nice to have a bench or seats outside like the adjacent apartment does - we were envious of their ability to catch the sun whilst enjoying a drink!

This is a tiny flat which has been creatively photographed to be rented out. The flat is reasonably comfortable but the bed is flanked by two wardrobes which gives a “hemmed in” feeling. The rest of the flat is “small but perfectly formed” and couldn’t be faulted for location.

Wonderful bolt-hole for two ..
Central, free parking, clean, comfy bed, welcome pack..

The relaxing sound of the gurgling river Greta spoiled by the bathroom fan that couldn't be stopped..

The only control over the heating was to switch it off - the two thermostats couldn't be adjusted..

Superb, sunny weather, great eateries & days out..

Cumbria is not to be rushed.
Having spent over 30 years walking in Cumbria, Keswick is our favourite location as a base. Not only is there a wonderful theatre putting on superb productions, there are also plenty of local walks and is central for an amazing bus services, if required, to many parts of the fells for walks further afield.
But our greatest joy must be the local folk. Well worth taking the time to stop and chat and you'll learn so much more than any guide book or map could possibly impart.
Add to this the convenience of access to local facilities when required and you'll have a perfect holiday, irrespective of weather.

This was a good base for 1 or 2 people for a short stay. It was on the cosy side but everything was in good order.

Had a 4 day break in this very cosy and comfortable apartment. It was small but perfect for the two of us and our golden retriever. The view out of the bedroom window overlooks Fitz park and the mountains beyond. There seemed o be plenty of drawer space and hanging space in the wardrobes. Could not fault this apartment in anyway, ideal size for the two of us and will look to stay there again

The flat is ideally situated to local amenities and fabulous walks around.. great location and great flat immaculate will be visiting again.. had a fabulous stay thank you !!

This was a lovely place to stay and very clean. It's v central to everything and very close to the Greta and Fitz Park (which provides the view out of the window). It's compact but very comfy with and well-equipped kitchen (it's small but has everything). Good communication with Keswick Cottages.

A small, neat and tidy property ideally located on the edge of Keswick centre. Parking included, which is a bonus compared to some other offerings in Keswick.

Good communication throughout from Keswick Cottages and a simple check in/out process.

Would definitely use this company (and property!) again.

Good holiday. Comfortable and clean. Well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful bathroom. Only one minor grumble - mattress was quite hard.

Cosy apartment right on the bank of river Greta which was lovely to hear at night going to sleep.
Apartment was clean and although on the smaller side, there was nothing lacking. Bathroom was particularly nice as looked like it had been done not too long ago.
Really good location as 5 minutes to town centre but it's off a main road so it's quiet and peaceful.
It was up 3 flights of stairs which meant there was a lovely view out both front and back windows as it overlooked Fitz park and some beautiful neighbouring gardens.
Would reccomend this property to anyone.

The apartment is ideal for a stay in the Keswick area. It's only 5 minutes walk into town or to the park,15 minutes walk to the lake , it's in a quiet area with beautiful views from the bedroom window . The apartment has everything you need for a relaxing break.on site parking is a bonus . We definitely would come back to stay. Thank you.

Excellent location and parking in central Keswick. The view of the hills and river from the bedroom window made the stay even more enjoyable.

This second floor property, though small can comfortably accommodate two people. It is comfortable, well equipped with everything in good condition. The compact size means that there is not a lot of storage and drying wet clothes or equipment would be difficult. The onsite parking is a bonus as the apartment is very convenient for the centre of Keswick.

The appartement is tiny but comfortable with a very practical kitchen. River Greta flowing below the bedroom windows makes you sleep well.

If you like fell walking you will have trouble storing your gear, especially when it is raining and your gear is soaking wet.

Overall we had a pleasant stay, with town centre and other shops nearby. Don’t forget to take a stroll through Fitz Park.

Notice:
- shower doors do not close properly
- shower drainage seems blocked

Nice place for our short break tablet and welcome packs are a nice touch the smoke alarm is very sensitive though kept going off when cooking even though there was no smoke or anything burning may have upset the neighbours.
