The apartment was lovely perfect for the 4 of us. Only minutes away from supermarket and all the shops of Keswick easy walk to lake.

This was our 2nd stay at Maiden Moor. It is very conveniently situated in the centre of Keswick. The property is well maintained and the kitchen is very well equipped. We hope to be back in the not too distant future.

Maiden Moor had everything you could wish for in a holiday accommodation .The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had all the utensils you could think of.There were 4 of us and we felt very at home there.The location could not have been better for all amenities. Parking for 2 was a great plus.

Very comfortable holiday cottage. Location is ideal being close to the centre of Keswick and Booths supermarket. Having 2 car parking spaces was ideal for us and the furnishings are to a high standard.
All in all, a perfect place to stay and very close to the Keswick Convention site.
11 out of 10 would be our rating which I think says a lot.

Maiden Moor is such a lovely place, wonderfully situated just behind Booths supermarket and the bus station but without any noise or traffic from either. It is comfortable, clean and very well equipped. with top of the range items.
I would recommend it without reservation for the Autumn to Spring seasons but not for Keswick Convention time because I NEED A BOOKING and it's so popular!!
One thing - Could clients have a spare toilet roll available as we had eight visitors during the week and were down to the last sheet almost before we left?

Excellent accommodation and ideal location behind 'Booths' supermarket and the local bus stops. Only issue was the lack of any way to light the gas hob & as non smokers this necessitated a quick trip to buy matches. Otherwise problem free and inour opinion good value.

Lovely apartment everything you would need. Extremely well equipped kitchen with lovely appliances. Spotless well done housekeeping only downside shower was hard to regulate either too hot or cold but didn't detract from holiday would recommend

We were delighted with everything at Maiden Moor, from the moment we arrived.I would ,however, suggest that the second bedroom is a little small for a couple. We had a bedroom each and were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped as was the lounge and the whole apartment had been cleaned to a very high standard. We were pleased with the proximity of the bus station and Booths supermarket, though neither can be seen from the property. We were also lucky to have three sunny days which were appreciated.!!

First things first, we love Keswick, we've been wanting to spend Christmas there for a good while. Obviously Christmas is peak season but we really liked the look of Maiden Moor. To be honest, it was the electric reclining sofa and armchair that had me sold. The flat is immaculate, we had the bonus od it being decorated for Christmas. The kitchen is well equipped, you're 60 seconds from the door of Booths supermarket and its fabulous cheese counter. Parking for 2 cars is a bonus, not that you need one while you're there. Stop reading now and book 8t if you can. Other members of my family have already booked for 2024.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at Maiden Moor and it won't be the last. It really is a lovely apartment in a quiet, yet convenient position close to the centre of Keswick and a lovely touch was that the apartment was decorated for Christmas. We were able to get out on walks every day without the need to use the car which stayed parked at the apartment all week.

This apartment is in an excellent position - it's close to the centre, very close to a great supermarket (Booths), it has 2 parking spaces but is also very close to where all the buses go from Keswick to the rest of the Lakes. We had no problem with cars/buses or noise from the supermarket.

The apartment is very nicely kept and quite luxurious accommodation for the Lake District.

Only two niggles - we stayed here 2 years ago and then neither the shaver socket in the ensuite bathroom nor the towel rail in the other bathroom were wired up. We put this down to the apartment being newly built/refurbished, but two years later it's still the same - would be nice to get these things finished.

Regarding the towel rail in the main bathroom, it is not electric but is plumbed into the central heating so comes on and off with the heating system. Unfortunately, it is not possible to repair the shaver socket in the en-suite, but a working one is available in the main shower room. Maiden Moor is a well set up, spotlessly clean cottage close to the start of many walks and Booths supermarket. The two parking spots were an absolute bonus. We stayed for three weeks and it really felt like a home away from home.
Keswick Cottages were helpful from beginning to end and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

A lovely cosy apartment. It is very close to the shops and not too far from the lake. The beds and pillows were really comfortable and the apartment had a lot of little extras, a discount for the Theatre by the Lake which we used. I liked the key safe too as I did not have to fight with it to put the key back in at the end of our stay. Would stay here again.

We have stayed at Maiden Moor three times and it still provides top quality accommodation in a very good location . Its convenient for the many buses available in Keswick as well as close to shops and eating places .The accommodation is first class and very well equipped as well as being spotlessly clean . We had a very enjoyable stay at Maiden Moor despite some very wet weather. The quality of furniture, fittings and accessories was very good. The location is excellent and having off street parking is a great asset. We had an issue with keys which Keswick Cottages sorted out quickly so I was pleased with their service. I would use Keswick Cottages again and would stay at Maiden Moor again.

Maiden Moor is a beautifully fitted out cottage and is maintained and presented to the very highest specifications.
In looking for somewhere to stay I had very specific needs as I was travelling with my elderly mother. The cottage fulfilled these needs exceptionally well. One level, walk in shower, exceptionally convenient to bus stop and supermarket but still very, very peaceful.

We've been using Keswick Cottages for our visits to the Lakes for several years and Maiden Moor meets all our requirements: it's a great location for the town, bus station and Booths, and also it's great for just getting your boots on and going for a fell walk from the door. A lovely cottage, ideally situated in the heart of Keswick. A great base from which to walk into town or explore the northern and western Lake District. Would highly recommend for a couple or for two individuals.

We had another excellent break at Maiden Moor. The Apartment is absolutely lovely, very clean, and warm with cosy king size beds and two large shower cubicles with complimentary toiletries . Decor and furnishings top class.
The only very small suggestion, small cake plates would be a plus, instead of having to use large dinner plates when having cake and coffee but overall a very excellent 10/10.

We have stayed in an apartment nearby before and so we knew that the location was ideal for us. We were very impressed with the condition of the accommodation and, in particular, the high quality of the fixtures and fittings. Although we ate out each evening, there seemed to be everything one would need in the kitchen.

We had a great time at Keswick. Maiden Moor was a joy, super location, mountain views.

When we arrived we were more than happy to find the apartment was lovely and warm, the lamps had been turned on for us, which added to the cosiness. Outside there are two car parking spaces at the side of the flat.

The apartment was spacious with a well-furnished lounge, sofa and two chairs all recliners, lovely and light, with a dining table and chairs in addition to the table and chairs in the kitchen. The TV was OLED. I think it had Netflix but we never tried it.

The bed was superbly comfortable, with a Tempur mattress. Heavenly night's sleep! What more could you ask for? it was lovely and warm throughout the apartment, the heating set just right and came on at the right time for us. Both bathrooms had shower cubicles, top quality fittings and there were mirrors in both and the bedroom.

We couldn't fault anything at all with the accommodation, and agreed it was probably the best place we have ever stayed in apart from Lakes Lodges which are obviously bigger. We would definitely recommend this apartment and will be telling all our family and friends!

We did get it at a good price as we only booked it a couple of days before we went (Mon-Fri stay) so its doubtful we will be able to afford it at the regular price as we are on a tight budget.

We visited Maiden Moor as 2 couples, myself and husband and sister and her husband. We have visited Keswick many times but this was our first stay at this apartment. What an absolute joy to have found this stunning place, right on the edge of town, with 2 parking spaces ( we travel separately to meet up so this was a god send ) the apartment was fabulous, warm with the lights on when we arrived and beautifully decorated for Christmas. There was literally nothing that hadn’t been thought of, the kitchen was very well equipped, although we either ate out or had takeaway but you could have easily prepared a full meal. The beds were amazingly comfortable and both bathrooms light, airy and plenty of hot water. We did lots of walks, Keswick to Threlkeld is a lovely easy walk suitable for families, we also tried to walk the circular of Derwentwater but only got halfway round due to flooding!! And New Year’s Day we climbed Latrigg which had fabulous views although the weather wasn’t brilliant… we ate at Thyme restaurant which was very good and spent New Year’s Eve in Casa Bella again very good. We can recommend Lakeland spice for a takeaway and the fish and chip shops were very good too!! Although the apartment is very close to everything in town ( we never took the cars out) it’s very peaceful with the added bonus of Booths just across the car park. I would recommend Maiden Moor in a heartbeat and hope to return. Also thank you to the owners for the wonderful welcome pack and card .

What a fantastic apartment in a quiet and very convenient location near the centre of Keswick. Well laid out with 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, everything in this apartment gave a feeling of 'luxury'.

I'm a regular visitor to the Lake District and Keswick in particular and this is probably the best accommodation I've ever stayed in. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd score it 11.

Maiden Moor suited our needs perfectly. We have rented numerous Lakes properties in the future Maiden Moor will be our first choice in Keswick. For a winter break it was warm, comfortable and centrally located. Decor was tasteful and the Xmas decorations just topped it off. Excellent quality equipment provided and the two parking spaces priceless on a busy weekend. We will be returning next year.

The cleanest, warmest & most comfortable holiday property we have stayed at.
Highest quality beds, pillows & lounge furniture, (recliner furniture in the lounge an absolute bonus!), great bathrooms and very well equipped kitchen.

Our first time visit to Maiden Moor through Keswick Cottages and this did not disappoint. A warm welcome feeling as we entered the property with heat and lighting on. Lovely modern furniture and spotlessly clean. The shower rooms were amazing, bright and airy with Cole and Lewis toiletries, and a lovely clean kitchen with a supply of goodies to welcome the weary traveller.
All in all a property for us that was just perfect in every way , and after visiting the Lake District for the last 17 years, this was by far the best rental property we have stayed in.

Very enjoyable stay. Everything we needed. Very well equipped kitchen. Blackout curtains and blinds in the bedroom would have been preferred. Excellent cleanliness, just a couple of cobwebs. This is the 2nd time we have stayed in Maiden Moor and as a family of 4 adults and this year with our new grandson. The location is excellent and the bonus of 2 car parking spaces makes the cottage even more appealing with it being in a central, but quiet part of Keswick
The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped and within easy walking distance of all of Keswick.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay again, in Maiden Moor. Thank you.

We had a good stay at Maiden Moor.
It was very clean, comfortable, and had everything you would need for a holiday.
The location is great, 2 parking spaces ,central for shops, restaurants which are just around the corner and you can catch a bus across the road to nearly anywhere in the lakes enableing you to leave your car ( which we did for the whole week.) SO a very nice stay.

Maiden Moor was the perfect base for us. Apartment is very well equipped and cleaned to a high standard. We couldn't believe how close we were to the centre but it was so quiet and peaceful. This was our first time staying in a cottage (booked through Keswick Cottages who provided an excellent service) and we couldn't have chosen better. It was in a quiet location, a 2 minute walk from the town centre. The cottage was decorated, furnished and maintained to a high standard with a very well equipped kitchen. The bed was extremely comfortable with plenty of wardrobe space in the bedrooms. Both bathrooms are a good size too. For keen walkers there are muddy boot trays provided - a bonus as it rained every day during our holiday. Hopefully it won't be too long before we will be back.

We've stayed at Maiden Moor several times and are never disappointed! The property is immaculate and better equipped than my own kitchen at home. Location is brilliant - close to the town centre, lake and other amenities.

Maiden Moor is one of the best apartments in Keswick in which we have stayed (and we have stayed in quite a few!). It is in a very central location and has good quality furnishings and kitchen equipment. There are only two slight negatives, firstly there was sometimes an unpleasant smell coming up from the drains in the shower room. Secondly you can hear movement and talking from the apartment above. Nevertheless we intent to return to this lovely apartment.

excellent up market cottage in fantastic condition. All necessary requirements to hand. for a lovely weeks holiday. High value furnishings and kitchen accessories nothing left wanting. Would certainly return to this property sometime in the future.

This was my second visit to this property with my mother. The location is very convenient for access to the shops and amenities with good access to local attractions.

The apartment is very well presented and to a high standard. It is also very well equipped.

I would certainly recommend it

We've stayed with Keswick Cottages several times before and so far we haven't been let down.
Maiden Moor isn't a very big property but it is very comfortable and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday - including Booths only a few steps away! A couple of touches that we really liked were the stack of boot trays just inside the front door to put your muddy footwear on, and the reclining chairs in the lounge - great to come back to after a day out walking.
Hope to visit again before long...

Maiden Moor is a lovely modern house in an excellent location on the edge of Keswick (very convenient for Booths supermarket and all the shops/cafes) yet with views of the fells.
We stayed during a week of very challenging weather in February and made the most of the house being warm, comfortable and well equipped for walkers (good drying facilities!) and for self catering (great kitchen equipment.)

Comfortable, attractive cottage in perfect location for an excellent holiday in Keswick. Immediate access to shops, and footpaths to the lake and mountains starting from the door meant we didn't need to use the car at all.
