It’s our third stay at Aitken House and our fourth at one of the Yorkshire Premium Property houses. Highly recommended. The house is lovely and very well equipped. We will be back!
Loved the cottage and grounds. Absolutely everything we could have needed was provided. Excellent, as new condition.
The property suited our family of 15 plus 2 dogs perfectly. King sized beds could be converted to singles. Having 2 sitting rooms was a bonus. The kitchen was well equipped with 3 ovens and plenty of utensils. We were grateful to have 2 dish washers. The hot tub was very popular and the younger members of our group made good use of the games room. We enjoyed being able to walk out of the house across the meadow and along the other side of the river. Great hosts. Lovely location next to river, plenty of walking from door step. Loads of room in barn & everything you need is there. Highly recommend.
The cottage was perfect. Loads of communal space. Struggled a little with thermostats but had all the amenities we could have asked for.. Gorgeous location, as new condition.
