Lovely quaint little cottage, very well positioned for exploring the beaches, marshes and woodland walks in the area.

Comfortable and cosy. Great value for money.

The cottage was perfectly placed to explore our location. We walked to Wells during lovely weather and tackled Moreston on a lovely sunny day. The cottage was the ideal place to return to to cook our dinner and relax fir the evening.

Cottage as described, and lovelier than expected. Quiet, despite the proximity of the road.
Yup, stairs steep & shallow, but good handrail.
Location, cottage & garden space suited us two, and our dog, very well. All positive.

Nice cottage in excellent location. The stairs are very steep which is in the description however they are made quite dangerous as they are painted in a gloss type paint which makes them slippery, you need to take socks off and go one step at a time. There is damp in the main sitting room with paint coming off the walls. The cottage was clean but needs attention when you open the windows.

We do appreciate the stairs in the cottage, like so many of that age along the coast, are steep and winding. We do make this clear on the advert and for this reason we say its not really suitable for children. Thank you for letting us know about the damp in the main sitting room. Great location for North Norfork. The pub in village Red Lion lovely food , worth a visit . Wild life good too .

Honey Barrel Cottage was the perfect location for our week long stay on the north Norfolk coats with our dog. The cottage is small but just the right size for the three of us. Living in a very old house, as we do, we're well accustomed to and appreciative of the quirks that come with period properties. We very much hope Honey Barrel will become our go-to accommodation whenever we're up in neighbouring Norfolk.
