What a perfect stay. We were attending a wedding on site and could literally fall into bed after dancing all night. Beautifully decorated bell tent and can imagine it would be special using the fire and the star gazing. Really beautiful area of Norfolk.
We stayed at Godwick Hall for a week over the Christmas period. The house and outside grounds were beautifully decorated for the festive period. We were met by the owner on our arrival. He was welcoming and available to answer any questions during our stay. The house was spacious and provided very good accommodation for the three generations in our family group. The Christmas hamper and turkey, which were provided, were superb and enjoyed by all. The décor of the house was attractive and the bedrooms were luxurious. Stayed for a wedding in September..had to get ready in a bridesmaids roomthe house who was getting ready with the bride as the yurt was not sufficient to fo that...the red and duvet were lovely..not cold at all ..we didn't light the woodburner as it would have been too warm however..unfortunately..that meant that all our clothes etc felt damp ...if you have ever camped you'll know what I mean so ..yes nice yurt ..shower and toilet ok ..shower on first day stone cold . Second day very warm ....didn't use outside kitchen went to.house with flask to fill with boiling water so I could make coffee ...more
A very comfortable and pleasant stay on a gorgeous estate. The bed was very comfortable, one of the best I’ve ever slept in!
My wife and I had a lovely stay in the Norfolk Horn Shepherds hut. Very comfortable bed, beautiful location, and peaceful. It was ideal for the wedding we were attending
