.absolutely lovely accommodation the olive bell tent is fab! Bed is sooo comfortable, accommodation is clean & fresh. Towels, slippers supplied. In kitchen is milk, tea, coffee & sugar supplied & bottle of chilled water in your own cool box! Loved hearing the foxes thru night especially the lil cubs yapping away. Really can't fault any of it at all.
We had a wonderful stay at Godwick Hall, 3 generations ranging from 63 down to 2 with plenty to occupy both young and old
An excellent retreat. Would come again. Nice and secluded. Good directions and instructions. Only complaint is the light on other shepherd hut staying on all night which meant we had to close shutters. I like to sleep with no curtains. Maybe this is just me. Also do you provide a tea towel for drying up dishes? I had to leave my washed cups on draining board.
Delightful visit to a delightful property Ideal for a friends and family gathering . The games room provided an ideal meeting place for the “younger ones “ .

Double bed was very comfortable, although quite high due to storage underneath. We are used to a king size so a little challenging! Facilities in the Shepherds Hut were excellent, with basic provisions in fridge and cupboards. However, if staying during a period of wet weather, the hut would benefit from more comfortable indoor chairs as you would not be able to sit outside. Although we didn't meet with James, the owner,...more
