The Shepherd's hut was fab. Really comfy bed and had everything we needed for a great weekend stay. It was a great location and had fantastic views and sunsets. The whole estate was a fabulous venue for a wedding.

We stayed two nights as wedding guests at the venue and it was perfect. Not too far back to our accommodation after a great day a the Hall followed by a full day of relaxing, watching the sheep! The hut was so cute, I felt a bit like Snow White! Would love to return another time ☺️

We have stayed in the Shepards huts at Godwick three times now, we absolutely love it there, the huts are perfect for a nice quiet get away.

We have stayed in April, September and December, with the log burner going the hut is plenty warm enough, we had the stargazer, BBQ and breakfast package all fantastic value.

The first time we stayed was a surprise for my husband’s birthday, James and Jenni where so helpful, and managed to help me keep the surprise till we arrived. On all three occasions nothing has been too much trouble, most recently we stayed during Storm Darragh, we were offered a refund if we wated to cancel. We decided to stay, James checked in on us and ensured we had everything we needed and that we were safe.

We cannot wait to stay again.

It was a lovely cosy hut, very well equipped . it was situated the grounds of the Barn where we attended a lovely wedding.

The shepherd's hut was generally as advertised, very quiet location, helped by us being the only guests. The location was convenient for touring around north Norfolk, although there were few opportunities for walking to interesting sites. It was advertised as having WiFi, this was not the case at the hut itself although there was patchy reception nearer the main house.

It is a beautiful location and very smart hut. Our only suggestion would be, as Herdwick is the only dog friendly hut to perhaps fence off a little garden for ease.

We (my pooch and I) had the most wonderful stay. Herdwick is just perfect with everything you need in one gorgeous little space......the log burner topped it off nicely! The service was excellent too, thank you James.

Accommodation and location was lovely, just very unfortunate that our stay coinsided with the heatwave and we were unable to stay for even 1 night due to the excessive heat in the Shepherds Hut.
We also had a puppy who was unable to take the excessive heat.

The hut is fabulous, clean and smelled lovely! The views were amazing, completely remote and un-disturbed so allowed us to relax and unwind. Enjoyed coffee and birthday cake in the spring sunshine, a walk round the lost village and trip to the beach for chips.
Very warm and cosy with the wood burner going, snuggled in and watched films on our laptop in the evening. Enjoyed nice touches like the breakfast hamper, coffee machine and a radio for background music.

We had a fabulous couple of days in an idyllic location. We were staying as part of a wedding party so was convenient to be part of the party but still have our own space to return to. Beautifully furnished and very clean.

The accommodation was according to the description and photographs provided before booking. Communication on booking, payment of fees and instructions for the stay were straight forward and very helpful. It was great to find a space where only the birds could be heard. The view from the hut was private and restful (if you like a wild meadow and forest). A very comfortable bed, bigger than expected for a Shepard's Hut and the interior detail is lovely. The weather was dry and warm so ideal for outdoor living. The smell of the toilet/bathroom disinfectant was overwhelming and for this reason I would not stay again. The location was not very convenient for the coast, which I did not consider when booking.
