The yurt was very comfortable, with a large bed. However the futons for the children weren't particularly comfy for them. The two yurts are situation in a very quiet area, there is a barn for weddings up the road but the music didn't disturb our stay. The toilets and showers are communal, which wasn't an issue for us as we were the only ones there. I would recommend staying in Hattie over Olive, due to the path layout - Hattie is tucked away in the corner but Olive will have foot traffic of only a few meters away from the yurt from the other visitors using the communal toilet or kitchen. Also it would be good for parking to be provided next to Hattie to save walking across the field and right past Olive yurt with all of your things. On site are three Shepherd huts and if these do not have toilets, then a gap should be put in the fence near the toilets to stop all the guests walking past Olive to get to the toilets. I do think the fence gaps and paths should be laid out differently for the guests of Olive, i wouldn't want all other guests constantly walking 2 meters near my Yurt. We only saw the owner once on the day we arrived, which wasn't an issue but it would have been nice to be given information on how to purchase more wood on site as we had to go to B&Q instead. Also the wood provided in our purchased basket on arrival was not good quality and very dry, so it smoked a lot and produced a lot of embers. No additional stove wood was provided for the indoor stove, only enough for our first night and again we had to go buy more from B&Q. I also don't feel that the BBQ and firepit should be charged as an added extra and should be included in the price.

.absolutely lovely accommodation the olive bell tent is fab!
Bed is sooo comfortable, accommodation is clean & fresh.
Towels, slippers supplied.
In kitchen is milk, tea, coffee & sugar supplied & bottle of chilled water in your own cool box!
Loved hearing the foxes thru night especially the lil cubs yapping away.
Really can't fault any of it at all.

We absolutely loved our stay in stargazer Olive and our little boy was so excited by the tent, the flowers and loved saying hi to the sheep when we went to the camp kitchen.
The surroundings were extremely peaceful and it was the perfect place to wind down and enjoy the fresh air and outdoors.
The beds were super comfortable and the log burner was handy for the cooler nights.
We can’t wait to be back :)

Stayed at Godwick, Olive Bell tent for a wedding weekend!!
Bell tents are a lovely size, comfy bed and plenty of seating and storage inside and out.
Camp kitchen and showers and toilets were clean and tidy, hot water most of the time and in close proximity to the bell tent.
Tents did get cold for some of the guests and the wood ran out quickly, however this wasn’t too much of an issue in June, would have been more problematic in colder weather.

I’ve never been Glamping before so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I was so very pleasantly surprised. The location is peaceful, watching the sunsets and sunrises from either side of the tent. The facilities are spot on. Everything you need, beautifully styled, in keeping with the location. And the bed is to die for!!! I’m not sure I’ll ever go ‘normal’ camping again! Would highly recommend, but do book too soon as I want to book again ☺️

A surprise mini break for my partner, for his birthday and our anniversary.
Godwick is beautiful, we stayed in a Shepards hut it was warm and cosy, perfect for 2.
Had a few addition extras the stargazer package, Bbq, breakfast basket and extra wood, all delivered on arrival.
Will definitely be back.

We arrived on a late sunny afternoon in October .A bit of a chill in the air , but that paired into insignificance on walking into our tent.
Everything was perfect .Clean + luxurious.We could not have asked for a better place to stay.
The camp kitchen was well equipped + the breakfast was great ! Granola, fresh bread with butter + conserve .Yoghurt + orange juice too.
The showers were immaculate + had luxurious shampoo, conditioner + body wash.Water was lovely + hot .
As we returned in the evening after having been out, the lights were twinkling around the tent, a lovely welcome !
We had the best 2 nights sleep we could have wished for. The bed was huge, luxurious bed linen + very warm.
I cannot recommend the Stargazing bell tent at Godwick high enough !

As you can see from my review of the facilities above, I found no faults with my stay at Godwick Hall.
From unzipping my Yert (Tent) to leaving 2 days later, the whole experience was unique. The level of comfort was beyond my expectations and imagination.
I have been an outdoor type my whole life, and have had some of my happiest memories on camping trips and expeditions.
I’m over 70 years old now, so I wondered if my ageing body would protest at not having solid walls to protect me.
I needn’t have worried. I slept like a log, which I must add was not alcohol induced. I’m not a drinker.
I would thoroughly recommend to anyone who is not disabled (wheelchair access limited) to consider this experience for themselves, as no reviews can do it real justice.

Enjoyed a lovely couple of days in the Olive bell tent with a very comfy superking bed. It was peaceful and the bed very comfy. Lots to to do nearby and enjoyed lunch at Sculthorpe Mill and also did BBQs at the campsite.

Stayed for two nights for a friends wedding. Couldn’t fault it. We’d never ‘glamped’ before but excited to do it again after this experience!
We had ourselves a BBQ on the first night (it was set up & ready to go for us - we only had to bring the food, light a match and away we go), and then the next day was the wedding - great shower facilities and unbelievably easy to get ready in the huge spacious bell tent with full length mirror included.
Parking was clear and easy.
They’ve got this organised perfectly!
