Originally constructed as a lookout guard tower in the first half of the 1600s by Ferdinand II of the Medici, Villa Francesca served as a strategic post for a small group of soldiers tasked with guarding against potential enemies. Today, this historic villa offers a breathtaking panorama over the Valtiberina and the rolling Tuscan hills.
The villa has recently undergone a careful restoration while retaining all the features of a typical Tuscan country house. It now has a large swimming pool complete with sunbeds, umbrellas, and a gazebo, providing a perfect spot for relaxation, or guests can use the heated Jacuzzi by the pool.
