Ideal for a short break, lots of lovely walks but close enough to supermarket etc. Walked into South Cave and had a lovely pub lunch then walked back. The only small thing I can suggest is the apt needs some shelves to put groceries on and the garden isn’t private it’s shared with the apt down stairs but luckily for use no one was in it, could be a problem if you’ve dogs and the people sharing garden don’t like dogs !
All in all a really nice relaxing break would recommend

Really enjoyed our weekend here. The flat was the perfect size and it was very easy to find/access when we arrived. Had to get a spare key after one of the party left with it in their pocket, and the owners were incredibly accommodating about this! We loved visiting the animals and it's great that you can buy animal feed and fresh eggs on site. There are lots of walks in the area including one to the Drewton Estate, but be aware that some bits are a little overgrown and you might want to walk the slightly longer route to get to the Yorkshire Wolds Way to link up if you don't fancy going over or under fallen branches! It's an absolutely beautiful area though and the property is really well located for short outings and day trips.

A lovely comfortable place to stay..clean and spacious with everything you need.
Will definitely be returning in the near future..The children loved the animals too..Great place!

A compact 2 bedroom apartment furnished to a high standard, and has everything you need for a short stay. A lovely location, surrounded by horses and fields, and easy to get to most places in East Yorkshire and York.
The kids (10 & 8) loved feeding the goats and going to see the horses. My wife and I enjoyed the peace and serenity.
A minor point to be aware of - the 'private' garden, whilst fenced off, is shared with the apartment below.
Regardless of this, we had a very enjoyable weekend and we will be back!

My partner and I had a really peaceful and comfortable staying at Rolling Mill. The cottages are located in beautiful surroundings close to lots of great walks but not far from local amenities. Unlike many places the beds are really big and comfortable! We will definitely stay again if we're in the area.
