Not our first stay at Wolds Way Cottages or the The Dairy. That alone should tell you something about this place.
Very well equipped for a stay. Comfortable in all respects and peaceful at night. Within reach of many eateries and places/markets to visit.
Many basic provisions provided together with scones or mince pies.
Even had a Tassimo coffee machine.
Rachel and Dave, the hosts are very pleasant.
Hope to visit again in 2025.

Lovely set of cottages in a peaceful, secluded location. Friendly goats, sheep, chickens and donkeys, our dog loved them. Nice touch with fresh milk, homemade scones and jam. Could do with a bit more kitchen cupboard space and a little dusty. Bit surprised Dairy Cottage was a studio rather than 1 bedroom but at least you could wake up to views of the beams. Slept very well for someone who has trouble sleeping. Excellent stay.

We stayed as a family group for 3 days. Everyone enjoyed the peace and quiet and the lovely rural setting.
The animals were perfect for the grandchildren....small and gentle.
The accommodation was very comfortable and clean and the owners friendly and helpful.

Dave and Sue were incredibly helpful in providing us with both the barn and dairy for our family with 4 kids (3 teenagers) and we all loved the beautiful cottages in such a peaceful setting. The goats, horses, chickens. scones, fresh flowers and eggs, lovely walks and views - we are booking ahead this time (!) to stay again with the added bonus of a hot tub, and god willing - good weather!! Absolutely wonderful stay, thank you again.

A lovely barn conversion that is right out in the countryside. Very relaxing and quiet. The hosts are friendly but not too intrusive and provide local info if required.
The Diary is a studio apartment, so ideal for 2 people and a little dog. All the furniture is comfortable and clean. We've been three times now and are returning in July...that says it all !

I stayed for just 3 days and loved it. The Dairy has everything you need for a short stay it is clean and well laid out. The farm is lovely and quiet and has plenty of walks on the door step. Lots of places to visit either countryside or coast. I will return perhaps when the weather is a little less ‘damp’. Highly recommended.

I had to stay in the area to attend a jewellery course at Craftworx about ten minutes drive away and discovered this little gem of a place. From the moment I drove into the farm and was greeted by the most adorable goats. And sheep and chickens etc I knew I had chosen the right place.
I stayed in The Dairy and it was perfect, even had a homemade scone waiting for me. The bed and pillows were so comfortable the kitchen is adequately stocked and the shower was wonderful. Tasteful furniture and just a really lovely place to stay, thank you!

This was our second visit this year. It is so relaxing...in the middle of the countryside. We love that the studio is self contained but spacious. You can be in bed and watch TV! The shower room is small but does the job. Comfy sofa and bed. Lovely to feed the goats and walk around the farm every morning with our dog.

A cosy studio perfect for a couple and a little dog. Finished to a high standard and with a nice comfortable bed. Set in a peaceful rural area of Yorkshire and ideal for trips to the coast or pretty country villages.
We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts and would definitely recommend a stay here.
