Best new years yet with family & friends at walnut barn, house is outstanding. Designed for big family’s and groups with out door hot tub, bar, bbq hut and sauna. The house is second to none and a lot of hard work gone into the design but beautiful. Mark,James and family and manager Sharon very welcoming and easy to work with. We will be booking again very soon.
Our stay just so happened to coincide with extremely wet and windy weather, but in the end, we had the most wonderful time! The staff at Walnut Barn Estate are incredibly kind and helpful. If you want to shut the door and do your own thing you can, but if you ever need help or advice, they're more than happy to help out. In terms of the property itself, it is tucked away in a private part of Walnut Barn Estate and is like your own little haven in nature. Stayed in ‘the yurt’ for 2 nights in February and had a fantastic break. Yurt and shower room were spotless and hosts could not be friendlier. Although it was cold outside the yurt, the wood burner made it warm and cosy inside and the hot tub under the stars was a delight. A 5 minute walk to the pub and Chinese takeaway was a bonus, but recommend booking in advance if you want to eat in the pub as very popular especially at weekends. Will be going back for sure.
Just what we needed , a post Christmas getaway, to relax and chill for a few days , beautiful place so nicely done to a very high standard , a touch of class , we had a lovely time
We had such a great weekend in the lady wells hut, we really didn’t want it to end. Will miss cows and ducks that came to visit us every morning and Elvis the ram poked his head out! The hut was lovely warm and cosy had everything you needed inside to cook in the kitchen or make a fire. The hot tub was a great touch in the cold evenings. Thank you for such a warm welcome to the old dairy. Everything was ideal for us to stay. We only had 11 of us instead of the 16 as most of us were couples and needed our own rooms. We also had a chance to see your brand new barn. It will be stunning when you have done your finishing touches. We truly loved the fact that we were able to use this house with our dog and didn’t feel like there were millions of rules. We will be back next year i hope
Booked short notice for a little break for two of us plus the dog. Great find, brilliant location for both walks from door or short drive to uphill beach in Weston. Lovely local pub, would book as very busy even mid week. Everything we needed was there and I thought good value, I would return.
