An excellent week spent in good company. Two suggestions to the hosts, the wood burner needs a service and some repair plus WRT the hot tub maybe make it optional as it sems a waste of resources/time/energy to maintain/refill for each change of guests?
We had an amazing relaxing few days at this lovely cottage. So relaxing. No complaints. Could have done with a bigger frying pan for cooked breakfast in morning….
We had a brilliant family break at Granary Lodge, which is extremely spacious and very well equipped for 6 adults, 2 children and a small dog. Bedrooms very spacious. Games room and hot tub very popular. Weather was fantastic and scenery amazing.
We had a fantastic time, the house was perfect abd the grounds stunning. We were two families ages ranging from 8-82, everyone had their own space and you never felt too crowded. The location is great for exploring different areas in the car. Would definitely return.
Only BIG suggestion I would make is to make recycling significantly easier. Yes I know there are bins at the very top of the drive (that we eventually found!!) but there is no way of collecting the rubbish in the lodgings to carry it all the way up drive. Why no recycling bins either in property or nearby them - or at least something to put stuff into and carry up the drive You need to also let guests know about the state of the road into the properties - lots of holes and cars with low suspensions may have issues Also are you aware the drains downstairs where very smelly - that wa...more
A great time had by all, very spacious, excellent location with no one around, set up was also great, hot tub was perfect and secluded. Will definitely return
