This is the third property we have stayed at within Drumfork estate and all three have amazed me it’s safe to say we will be returning again. The standards are so high we stayed during Covid-19 and we were reassured that the property would be cleaned and it was, it was sparkling clean on our arrival. The decor within the house is beautiful and everything inside is a high quality. The views from the hot tub are absolutely breathtaking and we had the added bonus of llamas in the field which my one year old daughter loved. The dog received a lovely welcome pack with a towel treat and bowl which h...more
Have stayed here a few times now the dogs love it plenty to do , the enclosed garden now means the dogs can have a wander round while you set in the hot tub . The staff are very helpful would recommend to anyone who likes the countryside.
We spent a week with close friends at Stags view in early March, we had a wonderful peaceful time with fantastic walks around the local area. The lodge itself is very well cared for and has all the things you need for your stay. Because of the Covid19 virus we chose not to go out but to cook for ourselves every night and found the kitchen to be well stocked and a pleasure to cook in. We would have no hesitation to book again in fact we hope to book again in the not to distance future.
Amazing place stayed there with family spotless and hot tub and bbq where great. We will be back.A tranquil place.
We had a lovely time with mum and dad and family using both the keepers lodge and granary . The space in both lodges was great to make family meals and entertainment wonderful .
Would definately return to the Granary. Ideal location for the whole family including dogs. Wished we could have stayed longer.
Great family break at Rose Cottage - spotlessly clean and everything we needed for a weekend away. Feeding the deer and llamas was a highlight for us all, not just the toddler. Adults all had fun in the hot tub despite it being a cloudy evening and not getting any star gazing done. Would definitely return.
Waking up in the super comfy bed to the view of the beautiful scenery that Scotland has to offer, strolling through the cosy lodge to walk out into the brisk fresh air to climb into the hot tub, sit and soak in the scenery and nothing but the sound of nature. Beyond perfect for the best weekend for relaxation and romance and time to escape the craziness of the hectic life everyone has nowadays. We will be returning.
We had an excellent weekend here! The accommodation was lovely and cosy and it was all very clean. The area is lovely for walks and we managed to get out despite the rain and snow!
The accommodation at Drumfork Estate is really good, everything is provided for you it's like home from home. Very peaceful and scenic. I'd like to see robes provided for you to use in the hot tub on a deposit basis and not on a charge basis. Taking four robes for us to use took up a lot of room in the car. Otherwise excellent.
Everything was great for us, the kitchen was big enough to fit us all in, the lounge was nice with the fire lit, and the games room provided hours of entertainment. The hot tub was amazing - but the decking around it was quite slippery. Everyone had a great time, we're already talking about going back. The only negative we have is that is worth mentioning one of our party stood on a raised staple sticking through the carpet in the lounge and it punctured her foot. This staple was removed and all other areas of the carpet were checked before we took our shoes off again.
We had a wonderful time. I thought instructions on the Aga would have been helpful. It took us time to get the hot tub up and running however help was on hand. A fireguard would be beneficial. We had a little one under two. Would highly recommend staying here
