Hawkshead Apartment 8 Marina View is in a class of its own at Windermere Marina Village.

With a timeless and elegant interior this two bedroom penthouse apartment for 4 people has been designed and decorated to a luxury standard throughout featuring brands such as Christian Lacroix and Zoffany.
With Linwood wall paper, individual furnishings, bespoke art work and lighting by award winning designer Kenneth Cobonpue this apartment is truly stunning.

The west facing open balcony with reclining sun loungers and chairs looks across the marina with bifold doors to the living area with a L shaped leather sofa with electric recliner, real flame electric fire and 65’ smart TV. Lake District Monopoly and binoculars are provided for soaking in the atmosphere!

The spacious living area features a raised seating area with 2 bar stools overlooking the kitchen with a dramatic trapeze artist designer light.
The kitchen and dining area includes back lit LED worktops, wine fridge, Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine and Smeg toaster and kettle
The dining area is in a booth style featuring a beautiful designer crafted light and commissioned piece of art designed specifically for the spectacular vaulted ceiling.


The master bedroom with super king size bed has built in wardrobes and shoe storage, designer mirror, GHD straighteners and hairdryer and a 32’ smart TV, the ensuite shower room has auto LED lighting.

Bedroom 2 features a King size bed with built in 43’ smart TV, LED illuminated make up mirror, stone vanity shelf and GHD hairdryer. The bathroom connects to this bedroom and the hallway and benefits from auto led lighting.

We would highly recommend the accommodation and location. Apartment was finished to a very high standard with everything we needed and more.

Facilities at the marina were good and location is a short walk into town and equally good for exploring the wider area.

We had a Three Day break to celebrate our 55th Wedding Anniversary.
We had previously stayed at the Windermere Marina Village and enjoyed it very much, my wife did an online search on all the properties and found the description and pictures interesting for 8 Marina View Hawkshead Apartments.
We were not disappointed the apartment and views were fabulous.
If we were asked would we stay in the apartment again the answer would be an astounding yes.

Fabulous accommodation, lovely views, really well equipped leaving us wanting for nothing (except maybe a splatter guard for the frying pan!).

Great restaurant on the marina to walk to, and really well located for wider exploration of the Lakes.

Unfortunately due to a member of our party being taken ill half way through our stay we didn’t get to enjoy the property as much as we hoped, but would love to return one day to take advantage of all of the facilities again.

Everything was perfect. We got to check in early and had tea, coffee etc sachets. Had a bottle of champagne in the fridge.

The decor was beautiful. It will be lovely in summer day on the balcony watching the boats come in. If I had one minor complaint it would be the ironing board, need to upgrade to a bigger size.

The apartment location is excellent, the parking and lifts much appreciated, the apartment itself is quirky, not sure about the decor really, but it was the only available apartment with the facilities we needed at short notice. As it was November it was a good deal, and the weather was kind to us. Appreciated the housekeeping box, as some properties are mean with that, especially dishwasher tablets. Staff at reception are really good and helpful

The apartment was perfect for our long weekend, it was exceptionally well furnished with high end finishing touches. We’ve stayed at the Marina on numerous occasions and this is definitely the best accommodation we’ve stayed in. As ever the reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Shame the weather prevented us enjoying the balcony, maybe next time

We loved our stay at this apartment and would be willing to come back. Apartment has been done to the highest of standards - top of the range equipment and decor.

Stunning Kitchen, Lounge, Bedrooms & Bathrooms. Highly recommended.

Only negatives was the lift up to the apartment on the 3rd floor is very slow - not a big deal, but it does take 'forever'. Also in the bathrooms there was no shower gel or shampoo.

Apart from that the accommodation was near perfect.

8 Marina View is an absolutely beautiful apartment overlooking the marina, with every piece of furniture, fixture and fitting of the highest quality. The only gripe being the lack of any tea, coffee, sugar, condiments etc in the apartment other than the very basics handed out at reception. So you will need to do a little shop before arriving.

Hubby and I took my 87 year old dad for a weekend break. He is registered disabled but able to walk. The lift took us up and down. No steps to climb at all other than stepping out of apartment onto balcony. The view from the apartment over the marina was amazing. Dad sat on the sofa while we sat outside just steps away and able to chat. We all had an amazing time and hope to visit again soon. Reception were very helpful and the restaurant bar was a 5 minute walk away. Our waitress Lorna and all the team were amazing so we chose to dine Friday and Saturday. Thank you for making our weekend so enjoyable.

Beautiful apartment, very handy for Bowness and a perfect trip with our 3 month old baby.

Lots of walks nearby - recommend Orrest Head and brantfell circular.

Ate at the boathouse and the angel inn (Bowness) both were great.

A well designed apartment on the third floor. We are regular clients and this is an elaborate, high quality furnished home with unique pieces and great views . Would definitely recommend.
