Windward Apartment 17 is a fantastic ‘tower’ apartment set over the first and second floors. Offering space, light and marina views in every room you’ll find a great space for friends or family to gather in comfort.

The living room has triple aspect views across the marina and doors to the balcony where you can enjoy the south facing views across the marina with over 300 boats.

Sleeping up to 6 people this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment has over 1410 square foot of space and is a great option for groups who want a bit more space and be close enough to enjoy all Bowness on Windermere has to offer.

I was lucky enough to win the opportunity to stay here in a charity raffle. We had a call last week to say that the property we were booked into was unfortunately under repair and then moved into the next apartment.

The place was great, location perfect and everything we needed on site.

Really friendly team too!

We chose the apartment for a relaxed NY in a beautiful location away from the hype of the cities. Apartment was spacious for the 5 of us & super comfortable. Reception staff were helpful & friendly. We liked that it was just outside town & quieter.

I do feel the apartment was beginning to look a little tired. There was a dent in the bedroom wall(only small and needing painting) but it was there last year. Lampshades needing replacing, again needed doing last year. Attention to detail seems to be lacking a little.
Have stayed with you for the past 20 plus years, each visit I get asked if I have been before. Again attention to detail, check on customer first. Would normally book again before I leave but haven't done this time.

This is our place to go when visiting the lakes, its a great base for visiting the different places.

The is apartment is spacious and has a good view of the marina. Based on three floors its doesn't lend itself to people with disabilities due to the number of steps.
Fully equipped with cooking utensils and crockery and cutlery.
Lovely good quality bed linen and towels.
Plenty of hot water, three bathrooms.
One build would be to add netflix/sky to the TV.

Lovely week's holiday at Windermere Marina Village - our 8th time. Very comfortable, well equipped, warm and cosy. Lovely views from the balcony and an easy walk into Bowness. The Marina itself is very interesting with the comings and goings of the boats.
Reception staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. Perfect all round.
Very highly recommended.

We have booked this apartment several times as it suits us perfectly. Its in a superb position with a lovely sunny balcony, 3 good bedrooms each with their own bathroom which is great when three couples are sharing the property. It has a spacious lounge/dining area and well equipped kitchen. The only thing which let's the property down is the fact that several glazed units need replacing, the Juliette balcony door in the master bedroom is faulty (but we were warned about that) and the sliding double door in the lounge is showing its age. Generally it wouldn't put us off booking the apartment again as we love it but it is work which is needed in order to keep it value for money.

Excellent break in wonderful apartment with all staff pleasant and helpful at the main office in assisting us in our stay.

This is our fourth family stay at Windward 17 spanning 15years. The apartment is generous in size, finished to the highest quality with great views across the Marina and located a stones throw from the bustle of Bowness and the Hawskead Ferry. We would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.
