We were very happy except the beds for the parents was too short. The rest was good. Very strong wifi which helped a lot. Beautiful view

We really appreciated being able to book last minute and the team at West Holidays were brilliant to deal with. The apartment itself is very nice and has a lovely view of the Loch but its location is awful. It's in a nasty council estate and the carpark had busted up vehicles and there was a car bumper in the area behind the apartment building where the clothes lines are located. The building is just ghastly as is the stairwell leading to the apartment. We didn't feel very comfortable leaving our belongings in the apartment, which was only locked with a single lock.

The apartment has obviously been renovated and is very tidy and clean. It's lacking a few amenities that I would expect to find in a holiday rental:

1. The kitchen utensils are pretty basic and some have obviously melted.
2. One of the Hob elements isn't working which isn't major but this should probably be fixed.
3. The freezer needs defrosting
4. The shower has excellent pressure but is leaking at the door hinge and this needs to be properly sealed/repaired. It looks as though there are several layers of sealant there already but we suspect it hasn't had a chance to dry or cure so hasn't worked that well.
5. Additional bedding (extra blankets etc) need to be provided.
6. There is a very busted up ice tray in the freezer. I'd throw it out and get a new, sturdier one.

The listing really needs to be a bit more up front about the location of the apartment and the lack of access. We were pretty horrified when we arrived to be honest.
