This place is great.
Spacious yet cosy,
Clean, tidy, useable, welcoming, warm and very well equipped.
Ideal for a group of outdoorsy friends from uni to reunite or two families to holiday together.
Or even one family with both sets of grandparents if you’re that lucky and they get on well enough.
The surroundings are quite frankly why we were given senses!
The wiggly drive in off the main road through Laggan is perfect for Dad to (safely, respectfully and within the speed limit) pretend to be a Wrc champ while the kids pretend he’s Postman Pat.
The air is so fresh and clear, the mountains so scenic and the wildlife so close. The lack of light pollution at night makes constellations jump out at you (cloud permitting). Outside there’s plenty of parking and if you like your excitement to start at 6 in the morning then quietly open the curtains and watch the deer feeding on the lawn.

Would I recommend this property to someone else? Nah, cram yourselves in a couple of tired old hotel rooms next to a busy road for the same price or more so Sherrabeg is available for us next year

We've walked passed this cottage many times hiking on General Wade's military road and only noticed it was for hire this year. We booked it for a family vacation and it didn't disappoint. Considering the forecast, we got little rain and the cottage was a cosy refuge when the gales started!

The cottage, when we arrived was met with Wow and we were just blown away by the views.
The cottage has everything you need for a wonderful self catering holiday.

I would only say having a Nespresso coffee machine, in the cottage would be a bonus. (We did bring our own).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and did not want to leave this idyllic place.We hope to return .

Stayed at Sherrabeg many times. Home from home! Beautiful surroundings very relaxing. Or if you like walking, cycling, running or exploring the area this is the place to stay. Looking forward to our next family get together here
