From the moment we stepped through the gate, we felt at home. The stone walls, the decor, the beautiful scenery - all made our stay truly special. When the weather allowed, we explored the footpaths and nearby manor homes. Our evenings were spent with a good book or movie and a cup of tea or glass of wine. The welcome treats the host put out were an incredibly thoughtful touch - the scones didn't last long! Don't hesitate to book this peaceful retreat. Enjoyed a fantastic few days at this beautiful property with friends and family to celebrate my 50th. Communication leading up to our stay was excellent, the property is simply gorgeous with everything you need provided to make your stay extra special. Extra touches like the robes and scones were especially appreciated. The hot tub is well serviced and very hot - lovely! Thank you so much for accommodating us, we wouldn’t hesitate to return and can thoroughly recommend a stay here. We particularly liked the upholstery on the dining room chairs - very clever! We enjoyed our stay in The Milking Parlour. Plenty of room for 6 adults. Enjoyed the hot tub. Chloe was very welcoming and communication was excellent (except the list of things to bring included items which were in the cottage when we arrived, like hand wash - which isn’t really a complaint, just an observation!). The beds were a little soft for my liking, but that’s just a preference.
