We booked Sandcastle for a short break to celebrate a family members 40th birthday and welcome in the the new year. Our party consisted of five adults and four children. Communication from the beginning to end was superb. The property was stunning, inside and out, had ample parking and location perfect. We were so pleased by the cleanliness, the room sizes, the entertaining area, the high spec bathrooms and the comfiness of all the beds. But more than this, the attention to detail throughout this properly is impressive; linens, cutlery, glassware, utensils, hot tub towel hooks etc. were all high quality and plentiful. We would not hesitate to rebook and have already recommended Christchurch Bay Coastal Escapes to friends!

We stayed for a few days over Christmas - 4 adults and 3 children. The house was very beautiful and very comfortable, with ample amenities supplied. Overall we had a wonderful stay - the house is a little worn in places, a broken fridge bracket, a loose door handle - nothing major. Our only comment would be that for the price we did feel a little short changed needing to check in at 4pm and not being able to extend our check out beyond 10am. We did request a later check out but this wasn’t possible due to the Christmas period - which was understood but cleaning staff turned up at 10:08 just as we were leaving. Bit of a shame to need even be able to give 15 minutes grace!

Fabulous living area for our 60th birthday celebration! We were a party of 9 Ladies and we made full use of the hot tub (which was fab!). The big table was excellent for all to enjoy our breakfasts, as well as having a chef in to cook a 3 course birthday meal. Comfy beds and luxurious bathrooms made all the ladies happy.

Fabulous house, not far from beach and quay. Stayed for my dad’s 80th, lots of different ages but plenty of space. Hot tub an added bonus which we really enjoyed. Fabulous restaurant around corner for special occasions called the Jetty. Karen is great manager on hand with any problems. My only complaint is there are no wardrobes to hang clothes! We would definitely recommend and book again!
