We had 3 other places fall through but came here before moving to Devon. Finally being in the centre has been a delight after working and schooling here since 2018. We've managed admirably as a family of four with all the stuff school children seem to need and going from 3 bathrooms to 1! So many thoughtful touches and a fabulous kitchen.

Thank you for the most wonderful 4 night stay. Such a beautifully presented cottage in a great location. We explored Lewes, Birling Gap and took a train to Brighton for the day. The cottage served as the perfect retreat at the end of a winter's day. We look forward to returning in the future.

A beautifully presented cottage that served as an idyllic retreat with its cosy interior and convenient location for exploring both Lewes and the surrounding area. We visited Birling Gap by car and Brighton by train. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful weekend at Cleve Cottage! The house is so beautifully decorated, it felt like staying in a boutique hotel but with all the comforts of home. Positioned in the prettiest part of Lewes and within walking distance of the high street and train station we could not fault the location, we were worried about the lack of parking but the owners left us parking permits and getting parked near the house was never a problem. We will definitely recommend Cleve Cottage to our family and friends and hopefully return ourselves one day.
