The hosts were accommodating, quick to respond and very friendly. The house was in a perfect location right next to the beach and very clean and spacious. A perfect weekend away.
A truly one-off property, with a fascinating history. It had all the amenities of home that you could need, very comfortable, warm, clean and peaceful. It is situated in a rural part of Sussex, will wonderful 360 views of the surrounding countryside. The Owners were very generous and kind and giving of their time. The welcome pack was the best we have ever experienced. Thank you Louise & Jon, we had a very memorable stay and would like to return in the not too distant future. Best wishes Debbie & Peter
Accommodation was perfect for the two of us, everthing we needed was provided for. We arrived on a lovely sunny, winters day and 24 hours later the first snow of the year descended on us! The woodburner kept us snug for the rest of the week! We enjoyed the different walks which are easily accessible around the property. Plenty of options to visit, should you wish to venture out!
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Poolhouse. The pool was amazing and our teenage boys and ourselves were in the pool every day. The added bonus was we were able to take our lovely dog. Our hosts Carole and Robert went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. We would highly recommend this property and would love go back again one day.
We had a great long weekend at Sea Breezes. A lovely property, great layout and the house worked well for the group. Loved the walks around Pagham harbour and a slightly boggy wet walk to the Crab and Lobster ( lovely welcome and delicious food). Unmade road is the only tricky bit but as long as you are in no rush it’s fine!
We were met by the friendly and welcoming owners who showed us around the cottage which is attached to their house. The cottage is well equipped and most comfortable. We had full access to the large garden which is the owners passion. The location is a 20 min walk between the Ditchling Beacon and the Ditchling village and surrounded by good footpaths. Brighton is only a short drive away as is the train station at Hassocks. All in all making this cottage very well located, very comfortable - particularly the large double bed - and run by delightful friendly owners respectful of our privac...more
We had a wonderful stay at Taylors Copse cottage. The cottage itself is pretty, cosy and equipped with everything may need for a family holiday. Our children especially loved their very big bedroom! The surroundings are peaceful and charming and you have beautiful walks starting at the cottage door step.(up to the Ashford Hangers). The hosts were very welcoming made everything for us to have the best stay. Our children loved to see the horses and to take in their arms the baby lambs. We highly recommend the cottage.
This beautiful cottage is outstanding in every way, each room has its own personality and warmth, from coming in the gate to the front door and beyond. Great for snuggling up by the fire after a long soak in the beautiful bathroom after a long walk or shopping.
Just want you need on holiday. A relaxing cottage to sit on the sofa and enjoy looking out onto the wonderful garden. The bed was very comfortable and warm. It was great to have such a vast collection of books to explore. Hosts Chris and Liz were very welcoming and were interested in making sure we had eveything we wanted during our stay. The tv is small but we never used it. No need to watch tv when you have books and a garden to enjoy. We visited a pub about 4 miles away which was lovely and worth a visit.
Stayed at Little Vintners for a couple of weeks whilst moving down to start a new job and would highly recommend it. Wonderfully quiet, rural location with delightful hosts who are both friendly but also respectful of your space and privacy. The property itself is superbly comfortable and cosy and is appointed to a very high standard. A huge grass garden is yours to explore as you wish or, alternatively, just keep an eye on the squirrels and woodpeckers.
We would highly recommend this place. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation is lovely and the location is absolutely beautiful - if you like quiet and rural. It’s very well equipped, very clean, and thoughtfully designed and laid out. We enjoyed going for walks and playing tennis on the owners court. There were lots of lovely welcoming touches waiting for us when we arrived.
We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay at Bell Cottage. Beautifully decorated, owner has been really generous in quality of furnishings and equipment provided. Recommended!
My sibling and I were in town from America to attend the funeral of a beloved family member. Wickland Cottage met our expectations for a clean, well located flat with modern amenities, ample room, and comfortable, nicely appointed furnishings. And, it was an easy stroll from the flat to access the main shopping/restaurants/pubs area of Chichester. We appreciated our stay at Wickland Cottage.
Very quiet, secluded and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here with pheasants and deer as the only company.
It was ideal, perfect for the holiday we needed. The owners were very friendly. It was the best holiday cottage we have stayed in, for location as well as comfort.
We had a wonderful stay at Mafeking. Everything you need is provided. We were a mixed aged - family group of 6. The house and garden are stunning. We enjoyed a barbecue sitting in the beautiful garden which is just perfect . It’s a quiet location but does have a good pub within walking distance. We took full advantage of the table football and table tennis table. The hosts left us a wonderful and generous Easter gift basket. A perfect weekend in a gorgeous, clean and comfortable home that has everything you need for the perfect countryside break.
We enjoyed a lovely few days at this beautiful house. It is very well-equipped and looked after and in a great location - all the shops you need within 5 minutes’ walk and the beach just ten minutes away. Thoroughly recommend.
Very comfortable stay at this lovely cottage. Back garden is both quiet and private. Access to rear parking is narrow (not suitable for 4x4). We parked in the public car park 2 mins away. Both safe and handy.
The house was in an excellent location for the beach and the garden is lovely. The house was spotlessly clean. The accommodation worked well for us, with plenty of space downstairs for us all to be together, or be in different rooms.. The children loved the playroom, which thoughtfully had toys for them to play with. We really enjoyed the space but also the cosiness of the house - it flows beautifully. It was a bit of a difficult walk with a double buggy along the coast but, apart from that, we very much enjoyed our stay.
We stayed for one week in this wonderful and cosy cottage. Making some short trips to surrounding spots (Arundel, Brighton, Porsmouth), going for some walks in the beautiful landscape and just relaxed in the nice place - great!
We booked a Christmas stay and there was a warm welcome with a lovely Christmas tree and some other decorations, as well as eggs, bread, jam and milk. The house was cosy and the open fire very welcome although we had to go out and forage for more kindling, but the nearby woods made this easy. The kitchen is well provided with cooking implements. The history of the house provided in the information booklet was interesting and added to our appreciation of our stay. Our only complaint was that we couldn't get the heating to work in one of the bedrooms and it felt damp and musty. All together ...more
