This property has a huge feeling of space; not only inside, with the high ceilings, grand staircase and large reception rooms and bedrooms, but also in the large lake, lawn and frontage/driveway areas. Lovely mature trees, flora and forna. I recommend a longer stay to really get into and live it.
Sea Breezes is an ideal property for a small group of family or friends. There are 4 double bedrooms, 3 of which can be arranged as single beds (bear in mind the single beds are only 2'6" wide). The 2 shower rooms are nice and modern. We loved the decor and the quirky features in the property. The welcome pack and toiletries are a nice bonus. I'm very local but needed different surroundings to relax and recharge and thanks to this lovely cabin, hosts and location I achieved this. Would highly recommend and would visit again. The cabin exceeded expectations and is very peaceful and tranquil with woodland surrounds. I had everything I needed and the hosts went above and beyond. The whole experience, cabin, furnishings and location was perfect just the way it was, I wouldn't change anything other than staying longer. Beautiful!
The Tadpole gave me everything and more I expected when I booked. Consequently within 24 hours of arriving I booked an extra week. I entertained my daughter, I worked, but most importantly I slept like a baby in this comfortable, quiet, woods surrounded cottage. It is actually a converted 'large' double garage but you'd never know. Heating system is perfect and easy to use. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook and dine at 'home' or take a 7 minute walk to one of the most enchanting and oldest pubs in the the south of England. We had a fabulous stay at Taylors Copse. We received a wonderfully warm welcome from the owners and a lovely little stock of essentials in the fridge. The cottage was very well equipped and thoughtfully decorated, so we felt very at home. We loved the huge garden space and being able to see the horses, chickens and even a couple of deer. It was a lovely private space, but Philip and Penny were on hand in case of any questions. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back!
We unexpectedly spent more time at Little Vintners as our circumstances changed. This was no hardship as the accommodation was perfect in everyway. Everyrthing we needed was provided which was a real blessing. Lovely bedding, amazing shower, all the kitchen equipment you would need and more. It was a very much appreciated touch to discover there was very nice coffee, tea, biscuits, bread and delicious jam in the kitchen. The garden and surrounding area is peaceful and we enjoyed watching the squirrels chasing each other and the birds serenading us. Thoroughly enjoyable stay
Wonderful stay at Mill Barn.....beautiful walks on doorstep and extra special with the ponies being there. Mill Barn is so comfortable and very well equipped with glorious private garden. We hope to return again and big thank you to Penny (host) for being so welcoming.
The house, grounds and facilities were much enjoyed by guests of all ages. The house was immaculate, comfortable and very well provisioned. Prompt help from the housekeeper regarding arrival arrangements was much appreciated as were the thoughtful touches for our stay. All contributed to the property providing the perfect location for a family celebration.

A haven to stay in during our brief stay in Petworth having travelled from Scotland for a family funeral. Despite the occasion we had a lovely stay in Sheepdown. Extremely comfortable with every eventuality catered for. We would come back for a "proper" stay like a shot. Thank you.
We had a wonderful stay at Hell Fyre, and what an amazing house! We felt very privileged to be able to stay in such a historical place that has been so sympathetically brought up to modern standards. Excellent communication with the lovely Louise, who generously left us some delicious edible treats and made sure we had everything we needed.
If youre looking for a break from the 21st century, Library Cottage is the perfect antidote. Nestling in the South Downs, stashed with books and all in its own walled garden, what is there not to like. This was our third stay: the weather was perfect and our hosts were as attentive as ever.
The cottage is immaculate- clean, well equipped and really comfortable. Great communication from the hosts and a lovely bottle of wine and crisps when we arrived , thank you ! We asked for a little extra time on leaving, and were given this with no problem - thank you again . We would definitely recommend this cottage and hopefully return , really enjoyable stay x
Second time we have stayed in the Old Tractor Shed, this time for a week. Beautiful spot at the foot of the Souhth Downs. Plenty of walks from the front door,, great for our dog Monty as many are livestock free. Convenient for many attractions including Weald and Downland Museum, Goodwood, Chichester and the coast. Plenty of local dog friendly pubs and a great community shop and cafe a short drive away.
Our stay at The Old Stables arose from our original booking at another cottage being withdrawn (the owners had sold it). Inspire Stays were very diligent and helpful in suggesting alternatives and The Old Stables thus became our destination. The cottage itself is very quietly located along a narrow and winding lane, which thankfully has little traffic. Mayaro Cottage had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. It was a real bonus to have a bedroom with aircon as some nights were still very warm. We often stay in West Sussex whilst visiting relatives and we have to say Mayaro Cottage is one of the very best places we have stayed. Everything was spotless and the cottage was so well equipped. We had a fabulous week. Seaphare is really well equipped for 8 people ( we were just 5 ) with an upside down house (living on first floor, beds downstairs) that was full of light and made the most of the amazing views and was brilliantly located - 15 seconds walk to the beach (pebbly, but we prefer that) where the sea was fabulous ( just one rough day) and in no time at all you could be into the hills and cliff walking up and over to Seaford Head and Cuckmere Haven. Very pleasant and well-equipped cottage in a good location, close to both the centre of the village and to the start of walks into nearby countryside.
Everything was remarkable. We were visiting family in the area and knew Petworth but had no idea you could get such space and peace right in the centre. The park is a few hundred yards away, as is the town. Parking for 3 cars and a lovely sunken garden. Majestic. The owners are also lovely and very helpful. We would be so lucky to return one day.
The house is extremely well appointed and is in a beautiful village location. The garden and outside seating provided a peaceful haven to listen to the birdsong. The garden room with a games table was an added bonus. There was plenty of storage, seating and cosy places to sit in the house. The “office” was great as we had to work one morning. The drink on arrival was most welcome. This was a true home from home and we highly recommend it.
A good quality property close to both the sea front and excellent local shopping. Comfortable throughout and very well equipped.
We have had an amazing stay at Farthings. It was a multi generational family holiday and ticked all the boxes! The pool was a fantastic asset and provided hours of fun for our little grand daughter. House was very well equipped and the games room was a real plus. We would love to come back again sometime.

We were a group of 6 adults and 4 children and Sun House was a perfect venue for a break by the sea. The house was extremely comfortable and very well equipped with plenty of space for everyone. We were lucky with the weather so could spend a lot of time outside. Nearly all the rooms have fantastic views on to the garden and beach/sea beyond and there is a wonderful hot tub and garden summerhouse. What a perfect place to stay! We really enjoyed the cottage, the surroundings and all the places (mostly gardens) within reach. It felt like home and with the terrace a lovely place to spend these summer evenings.
The Boathouse was beautiful, amazing location and so calm and peaceful. We had a couple of issues but these were swiftly sorted out by Laura the house manager. Kitchen was well appointed and plenty of storage thought out the house. Our visit coincided with one of the heatwaves, sadly the house wasn’t buttoned down on arrival, blinds and curtains open which meant it was stifling inside, unfortunately this made the first night very challenging. Away from all traffic with lovely views this well equipped apartment provides an ideal base for West Sussex and Surrey. The kitchen is particularly good and we much enjoyed our second stay here.
Comfortable dwelling in a beautiful quiet location. Short walk to the roman villa and or the south downs way.
We spent a week at Wickland Cottage. The location was perfect - walking distance to city centre and easy access to lots of tourist attractions and beautiful walks. The house was clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfy! We made it our little home from home while we enjoyed Chichester and the surrounding area.
We really enjoyed our stay at Marine House in the current heatwave. The house is lovely and in a great location. With the help of the upstairs windows we kept the downstairs bedrooms cool. The two young children loved all the options - the upstairs sitting room was very comfortable, the atrium for their games and drawing and the garden for ball games. I saw this property at booking.com and was pleased with what i saw but shock on me when i got to the property ,first of all when i opened the door i was greated with a musty mouldy smell,and as if that was not enough,the property was dirty ,not what i expected for an air b and b.When i called the house keeper to find out when the house had been last cleaned i was informed that it was a week ago.To say that i was dissapointed would be an understatement.I was disgusted,because as ahousekeeper they should have done bettter having known that visitors were coming to the property ,the least they cou...more
