Discover the ultimate rural retreat in the peaceful West Sussex village of Sutton, nestled in the heart of the South Downs. Once the humble tractor barn at Sutton Farm, this little piece of local history has been transformed into a charming and rustic holiday home. With many original features including exposed beams, brickwork and flint walls retained, The Old Tractor Shed offers cosy and comfortable accommodation for up to five guests and two dogs.

The Old Tractor Shed is comfortable, very well equipped in an idyllic location with lots of lovely walks nearby.
The White Horse Inn, a gastro pub serving tasty food is a 5 minute stroll away.
Our hosts Toni and David were friendly, helpful and always available to answer any questions.
We plan to return next year subject to availability.

We had a super holiday in wonderful Sutton, a quiet nook in the South Downs National Park.
The Old Tractor Shed is a perfect country idyll away from life’s hurly burly.
Our hosts, Toni and David, were charming and most hospitable.
We will be returning!

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Old Tractor Shed - the owners were nearby for any questions, and checked in on us to make sure everything was OK throughout the week. We didn't need to use the logs, but can imagine it would be even more cosy with the wood burner going! Lots of space to spread out, in both living and bedroom areas. We visited nearby Chichester (the only day it rained), but there's an easy walk from the door to the Roman Villa with mosaics. The gift of ham and eggs was yummy, and we even went home with some home grown rhubarb! Would happily recommend.

The Old Tractor Shed was perfect for our trip to Goodwood. The property provided everything we required and our hosts were perfect. Would love to stay again if the property is available.
