Westfield Place has a huge feeling of space; not only inside, with the high ceilings, grand staircase and large reception rooms and bedrooms, but also in the large lake, lawn and frontage/driveway areas.

Lovely mature trees, flora and forna. I recommend a longer stay to really get into and live it.

The welcome we received was like nothing i have experienced. So generous with his time, Giles gave us a history of the amazing house he has renovated and Ive never actually tayed anywhere like it.

Giles gave us lots of recommendations around the area and we made the most of those, with days out in hastings and swimming in the reservoir, though I think everyone preffered the stunning swimming pool location.

We had a big group of us staying for a special occasion. The children ran wild and safe and the adults relaxed and enjoyed lovely weather. We cooked in the lovely and well stocked kitchen, but also had a local farmer come and roast a pig for us all, which was incredible.

I can't rate this place more highly, so many lovely memories with all my family young and old. Will definitley stay again and would recommend it 5 stars to anyone. A thank you to Giles and his family for making us feel so welcome and being so helpful.
