Our stay at Burnside Cottage was fantastic. The cottage was spotless, warm and beautifully presented.
Burnside really is a home away from home. The kitchen is fully equipped with high end crockery, oven/hob and coffee machine. There was a supply of condiments, oil, herbs and spices which was a thoughtful gesture.
The homemade brownies and wine made us feel very welcome.
The living room was beautifully decorated and very cosy with the addition of a log burner. The bedroom was extremely comfortable with luxury bedding and quilt. A unique touch for a self catering cottage.
We are planning on booking again for 2025 - something we don’t tend to do.
A visit to the Coorie Inn is a must. Food, service and ambience was first class. The inn is on the list of suggested places to visit and well worth visiting.

An absolutely delightful cottage, tucked away in the most beautiful and peaceful part of Perthshire. We stayed to nights at Burnside at the start of autumn- beautiful colours and plentiful walks to try and slow down and zone out from the usual life. The cottage is very tastefully and beautifully decorated with modern appliances, comfortable bed and bath. It seems everything has been thought of and we loved that the local joinery had made so much of the decor too. Thank you so very much

We had a delightful, cozy weekend at Burnside while doing some traveling around Scotland. The cottage was adorable, spotless and newly renovated, the finishes and craftsmanship all being of a high quality. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs and we were welcomed by the most delicious homemade brownies.
Having had such a nice experience at Burnside, we would love to try out other rentals at Monzie. The whole estate was just beautiful!

The whole Monzie Estate experience was exceptional. My little cottage was old world charm on the outside with new world cottage charm on the inside.( Just check out the Photos) I was greeted with a bottle of wine, the best brownies ever, and a fresh wildflower bouquet, which started the magical experience off.
I was close enough to wander down to the Mill House and Monzie Kirk church building and cemetery and up to the old school house. I loved visiting the sheep up on the hill behind my cottage every morning. Alex gave us a very fun tour of the Castle and could not have been nicer. All the folks on the property could not have been friendlier! We wandered on the property and had a fabulous time!
We spent several fun days in Crieff exploring, as well as touring nearby GlenTurret Distillery and Drummond Castle Gardens. My Kids stayed in the Gardener's Cottage and I can recommend that as well ! Can't recommend Monzie Estate highly enough!

Burnside Cottage is in a perfect location, feels remote but within 2 miles of Crieff, restaurants, cafes and shops. The cottage itself is idyllic, lovely sized rooms perfect for 2. Over the years we have found it difficult to find a cottage for 2, some too small, some attached to another property and lacking privacy. Burnside cottage covers all bases, quiet, detached, plenty of space, beautiful walks, and golf nearby. Would 100% stay here again.

This was our second time staying with Monzie and our first time at Burnside. I could not be more pleased with either experience!
Burnside Cottage is a delightful slice of heaven in Scotland’s countryside and it was equipped with everything we needed to feel at home.
We spent two weeks in Scotland and for the majority of our trip, we stayed at Burnside. The location was perfect for our daily excursions and we enjoyed coming back each day to relax, take in the views, and get a good nights rest. We particularly enjoyed having the cattle and sheep nearby!
The cottage is renovated beautifully and the Monzie team is excellent to work with. Their communication is top notch and both properties that we’ve stayed in have been exceptionally clean and comfortable.
Monzie Estates will continue to be my go to for our holiday bookings!

We loved our stay in Burnside cottage. It is beautifully appointed, has so much space for two ( and a dog!) . A private garden and walks directly on the doorstep. Our hosts were so welcoming and all the admin was very efficiently handled. Situated just outside Crieff the Monzie estate is perfectly placed for outdoor activities or for exploring Scottish history, or indeed the whisky industry! We were particularly delighted to be able to tour Monzie Castle with Alexandra, whose family run the estate.

I was lucky enough to stay at Burnside Cottage on the Monzie Estate, and it was one of my most enjoyable stays in Scotland ever. The cottage was beautifully finished and decorated. It's situated by the river at the bottom of a hill, and was so quiet and peaceful, and the walks and runs around the hills were gorgeous.
I drove an electric car there, and the EV charger was very handy - there's a charger just on the side of the cottage. The estate is all hydropowered and sustainably-focused too. The personal touches from a family who obviously care very much about their home and heritage and giving back to nature were abundant throughout.
Alexandra the host (and owner) was really lovely and welcoming - I can't wait to come back!

Lovely, peaceful cottage. Had a relaxing few days here and had everything we needed. We booked it very last minute and the owner was very accommodating and friendly. We were even able to charge our car overnight via a handy app.
The cottage is very cosy and the decor is gorgeous.
Would highly recommend if you're looking for a relaxing getaway.
