This was a great cottage to stay in for a family of five. The kids loved it! It was a fantastic location for exploring Hexham, walking to supermarkets and taking the kids to the park. Really cosy with the log burner and a really well equipped kitchen. We had a great time here.
Great base to walk Hadrians Wall - central location for all amenities- lovely decor

We really enjoyed our holiday - the cottage was beautifully decorated and furnished BUT although it has beds enough for 6 people it really doesn’t have the living/dining space required for us to all sit comfortably both in the living area and around the table. The smaller bedroom upstairs is too small for a couple. One shower between 6 people is also a stretch - could one not be plumbed in downstairs? The location /quality of the cottage is great but i feel it would be better suited to just 4 adults Of street parking an added bonus with easy additional parking at Waitrose

Lovely cottage, perfect for sightseeing around Hexham. Car parking space not for a nervous driver but plenty spaces in Hexham if necessary.
