A very generous apartment split over two floors, with a spacious master bedroom, bathroom and a further double bedroom. Its has a fully equipped kitchen and dining area that seats six and a large living space with comfortable sofas and co-ordinating soft furnishings and lighting.

This apartment provides a peaceful resting place in a superb central location for exploring Hexham and Northumberland with excellent public transport links meaning it’s also a great base for those who wish to explore the region without a car.

The apartment shares it’s entrance with Apartment Two meaning they can be hired together to create additional space for larger families.

Perfect for driving to various parts of Hadrian's Wall then being able to park up at the apartment and walk to the many local restaurants afterwards. Absolutely spotless and very comfortable.

Sam and Vicky were so accommodating, they went above and beyond to make our complex booking over various dates work in as smooth a way as possible. Taking time to reorganise and best accommodate when we needed to keep coming back to them. Communications before, during and after booking was second to none.

Thought the accommodation was fantastic, those deep windowsills, with light and green views to the back were so peaceful.

We booked this apartment as our daughter was getting married at Hexham Winter Gardens and we were looking for somewhere within walking distance. It far surpassed our requirements. The location, right next to the Abbey and including parking, was amazing. It was very useful that the table could seat 6 as we had also booked Apartment 2 and The Bridal Apartment 7. The interior and exterior were beautiful. Thank you. I hope we can visit again without putting on a wedding.

The whole experience was amazing, the place was clean and beautiful. People weere very helpful. The were also a couple of things which left me a bit dissatisfied. The first is the very late check-in and the very early check-out. The second is that the accomodation was a bit pricy for such a small village.

Excellent apart from the difficulties with using the heating and the oven. The heating had no instructions and in the end it was my son who managed to get the heating working when he visited my apartment as it was a chilly evening. I still had no idea of what to do or how to do it.
The oven had no instructions and he couldn’t get it to work so I went to his apartment where his wife used their oven to heat the pizzas.
I have no intention of struggling with the internet when all that is required is some printed instructions for the appliances you expect me to use.
There was no-one to help, unlike a hotel, this is a major drawback for me and probably for a lot of older clients.
Please provide a list of instructions for your appliances so that they can be used.
This really spoiled what was otherwise a lovely apartment.

We highly recommend Hexham House Apartments. It is a great location in the centre of Hexham, looking over the Abbey and gardens. The apartment was fabulous - high-quality decoration and furnishing with everything we needed for our visit. The Christmas tree was a lovely festive touch, and the apartment was super warm, even on the most wintery days. Great communications from Sam and Vicky too. We liked it so much that we came back from a second stay later in our trip.

The apartment is in a very good location close to the centre and was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. We would definitely return if we were in the area again.

We booked apartment one for accommodation for a family wedding in Hexham. Our Godparents were in Apartment two and our parents and sister in Apartment Three.
The Fixtures and fittings were of an excellent standard in all the Apartments and although we were close together the layouts of each apartment afforded the utmost privacy between us.

Gorgeous cottage very high standards and the welcome pack was a lovely surprise along with all the essentials you needed right down to a bottle of bubbles.

We stayed in Apt 1 with family in Apt 2. Great to have one main door & just the 2 flats together.
Very spacious & well equipped with everything you could need during your stay.
Beds were ultra comfortable & all rooms were well heated.
Ideal location for visiting Northumberland, the parking permits are very useful.
I would not hesitate to recommend the apartments & Wooden Star website in general.
Hope to stay again sometime.

Great home from home in the centre of Hexham. We were travelling with a baby so having extra room and a kitchen was ideal. It had everything we needed except a bath but the shower was large which worked fine for a couple of nights. A travel cot and high chair were provided free of charge. Hosts were very helpful, left us a welcome bag of local products and checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. Would definitely stay again, the only thing to note is one bedroom is on the side of the house with road traffic, it’s hardly city centre noise but with traditional sash windows if you are a light sleeper you might want to take earplugs. The other bedroom overlooks the abbey gardens which are lovely and quiet at night. Couldn’t hear any other apartment guests (not sure if anyone was in number 2 next door). Parking was easy and close by. Would definitely recommend!!

Everything was perfect could not fault a thing , we will definitely stay here again .lovely location and very quiet, everything that you need is provided and Sam was very helpful allowing a checkout a little bit later than normal.

We returned to Hexham in 2022 because we had such a fantastic time in 2021. I book flat 1 and 2. They are perfect for us. Old ones in flat 2 and family in Flat 1. The flats are central and next to our favourite restaurant Bouchon. The standard of accommodation is great. Everything is provided. The flats are warm. Parking arrangements are convenient. There is nothing I can say that is not praise. Thank you.
