Shellbraes Studio is a perfect base for single holiday makers, for romantic couples seeking an escape or as a honeymoon suite when the larger wedding party are staying at the stunning Shellbraes Farmhouse.

I stayed here for a weekend and can definitely recommend it for a peaceful stay. The countryside is beautiful - the cottage isn’t in a village so worth bearing in mind if you need to be in walking distance of shops etc. The studio is lovely - well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable. There is an outdoor area with table and chairs too. A welcome pack of local products was a lovely touch too. Great place!

The studio was just what we wanted, secluded, cosy but still not too far from places of interest. We had a cold and wet weekend but chilling in front of the wood burner was great. The studio is small but well appointed and ideal for couple. We will be back again , hopefully the sun will shine next time.

Our second time in the Studio with family staying in the Farmhouse.
The Studio is a comfy and cosy haven, well equipped and with beautiful views of open countryside from the small enclosed outside area.
We were also fortunate to have a clear sky at night so, in what I would consider a dark sky area, star gazing was a definite plus. Hope to be back next year!

The studio to the rear of the main house was simply perfect.
We couldn't have asked for much more. It was really clean , open fire, hairdryer , iron,.microwave , cooker. Everything you could want in a small house. It had been equipped with everything you could possibly need.
We loved the accommodation and it was private from the house and the family if we did want to some space.
Thank you for such a lovely stay. We would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit this area

We hired the studio alongside the farmhouse for me and my now husband and our family to use for getting ready at and to stay at for our wedding and we loved everything about both properties the studio was perfect for my now husband to use to get ready in the morning or the wedding and for our guests to stay in to. Highly recommended the studio and the farmhouse.

I really enjoyed my stay at Shellbraes Studio and slept so well for the two nights I spent there. The accommodation is a well-equipped, decent-sized open-plan room and has got great location (not too far away from Hexham and Corbridge if travelling by car) and serene surroundings. I highly recommend it. Thank you, Sam and Vicky, for providing all the useful information and keeping this place nice and tidy.

Beautiful well equipped little studio, fabulous views, lovely and warm and nice to have some complimentary food items on our arrival. Couldn't fault it, we hired it along with the farmhouse which was amazing but would definitely come back as a couple to hire the studio individually another time. Shellbraes Studio is ideal to be booked alongside Shellbraes Farmhouse, but is private enough if you wanted to book this on its own. Tastefully furnished, very welcoming and feels like home. It's in the most peaceful countryside and isn't far from all of the amenities that you need.

The studio is cosy, very comfortable
and well equipped,though the fridge is rather small. However we ate with family staying in the farmhouse so didn't need to use it for storage.
The building is in a beautiful setting with walks from the door.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
