Fabulous two bedroom holiday lodge with a fantastic hot tub and partial lake view. Immaculately presented to accommodate up to 5 guests. A simply stunning lodge in a great location. One small well behaved dog welcome!

Beautiful Lodge perfect for our little family break. Ideally situated allowing us to explore what the lakes has to offer. Hot tub was perfect for relaxing in after days out walking.

We stayed October half term, first time we have stayed here and will definitely return. The lodge was great and very clean, beautifully decorated with some autumn/halloween decorations making it more homely and seasonal. Beds were comfortable, hot tub great and in a good location for the lake and clubhouse

Had a lovely stay! Lodge was clean, comfortable & homely. We’ve visited White Cross bay every October for the past 8 years. The partial view of the Lake & the hot tub made this years stay even more relaxing! Bottle of wine & sweets for the kids on arrival was a lovely touch ❤️

I’ve stayed at White Cross Bay many times and Dovedale lodge has to be the best lodge I’ve ever stayed in. It was beautifully decorated and had everything you would need for your stay. The outside area was very private and spacious & also fully gated which was great for my dog, the hot tub was must after a busy day exploring the lakes. I would defiantly stay here agian.

We stayed at Dovedale in May 2024 for a weekend while my husband did the Fred Whitton Race. It was our second stay and did not disappoint.

We stayed here back in August 2023 and could not fault the lodge. Great spot close to the lake. Spotlessly clean. Lovely welcome pack for grown ups and children. Comfy clean beds. TVs and WiFi great when we wanted to chill out. The lodge is very homely and had everything we needed.

We have been coming to White Cross Bay every year since 2016 and this is our favourite lodge.

Chris and Fiona were so helpful and friendly when booking this lodge. We hired a paddleboard and they sorted out a little problem straightaway.

We got to meet the owner as they were passing by, lovely lady.

The hot tub was amazing, which was checked regularly by an outside company.

The only negative is our lake view from the decking was restricted by 2 other lodges that Park Dean resorts had put in communal car parking spaces restricting our view. This sadly is not the owners fault.

On both trips we all didn't want to go home.

We will definitely return. Thank you.

We agree, it is such a lovely lodge and the hot tub just tops it off. We were sorry to hear you had a restricted view of the lake, although as you rightly point out, the owners or us as booking agents, have no control over how the site is run. It is our understanding that the lodges have now been permanently sited elsewhere and removed from the car park. A very well done to your husband on completing the Fred Whitton challenge, a great achievement - and Dovedale is the perfect place to relax after the event. Thank you again, and we look forward to you returning for another stay very soon.

Me and my partner had a 4 night stay in the Dovedale lodge. I have stayed on white cross bay a few times in the past with family, but it was my partners first time here. To say he loved it was an understatement! The lodge was filled with Autumn/Halloween decorations which was such an amazing Surprise! It was so clean and in a perfect location, so close to the lake too! Will 100% be staying here again.

We have stayed at White Cross bay for many years now, we thought we would try a different lodge this year. We were not disappointed with Dovedale, it was immaculate, spacious and provided everything that we required. The hot tub was a fantastic addition, the outdoor seating area was clean with lovely modern furniture and a partial view of the lake.

On arrival we were greeted with a bottle of Prosecco and sweets for my children, a lovely touch!

A washing machine would have been a handy added extra, this is absolutely not a complaint and this would definitely not put us off booking this lodge in the future.

I have high standards when it comes to accommodation, this lodge definitely met my expectations, thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a very lovely stay at Dovedale Lodge. We have stayed on Whitecross bay park before so we already knew what a beautiful site we it was with so much to do and Dovedale Lodge made it all the more better. The location is lovely very close to the lake and picnic area which was ideal as we would walk to the lake every day. The lodge itself is beautiful, it has everything you need and is very clean. The hot tub and outside area was amazing, we spent more time outside than inside luckily with the nice weather and it was very comfortable. We will definitely try to stay here next time we visit! Missing our little bit of heaven already!

Lovely stay gorgeous cabin tv needs more instruction how to use. Couldn’t get netflix or many channels on tv. Hot tub was great club house food lovely. Would use again.

I can’t fault dovedale lodge at all! The facilities and cleanliness was spot on. It’s in an amazing location so close to Ambleside and Windermere the lake view is amazing from the lodge too! It was our first family holiday with my baby and we loved it and are already looking at returning & my friends have now booked to stay! Can’t fault a thing
