Situated in a lovely quiet area and five minute walk to lake . Had a lovely four day break away caravan comfortable, had all that you need in the kitchen , caravan clean would definitely stay again .
Maybe could do with a barbecue as we bought little throw aways while we were there.

Thank you for the review and excellent ratings, Julie. We are delighted to read your kind comments and to hear you enjoyed your stay at Troutbeck 2. We shall pass on your suggestion for a BBQ to the owners for their consideration, although we have found in the past that the bbq's were not cleaned after use and therefore a slab was provided instead so that guests could use a disposable such like yourselves. That said perhaps it is something that now needs to be reconsidered. Thank you for your comments and we are so pleased that you had a lovely few days away with family and would stay again.

We stayed for 4 nights in July and absolutely loved it there. The location was great. This is our 2nd time at White Cross Bay and we will definitely return for a 3rd. The kids activities were great. ( didnt realise we needed passes for swimming and all prebookable swim slots full by the time we arrived. We booked the pool party instead and got passes for kids workshops instead. Something to consider)
The lodge itself was lovely. Very cosy. Plenty of space for our family. Storage in main bedroom was great too. Only thing that would have improved our stay would have been private WiFi. The park WiFi is on/off. A minor thing that wouldn't prevent us from returning/recommending.
