Stroan provides dog-friendly, luxury holiday accommodation across two floors in a traditional Galloway stone cottage. Renovated to the highest standards it has maintained its character but has a modern, contemporary feel.
Access to the cottage is via the entrance hall. The twin bedroom with an en-suite walk-in shower room is on the ground floor. It has zip and link beds that can be made into a King-size bed on request (please let us know your preference when you book). Stairs from the entrance hall lead to the first floor.
Upstairs is a spacious open-plan living/dining/sitting room area. It’s fully equipped with everything you’ll need to enjoy your holiday home from home. In the colder months you can curl up on the sofa and warm your toes in front of the wood-burning stove. Maybe you’ll discuss your day of adventures and plan what to do tomorrow. This space leads onto another twin bedroom with zip and link beds, again this can be made into a king-size bed on request. Up a short flight of stairs is a beautiful bathroom complete with a walk-in shower and a luxurious roll top bath. So if you’ve been out on your bike or walking the hills, you can enjoy a relaxing soak before you head off to bed. Soft, fluffy towels and fresh, quality bed linen is provided – we’ve got all the home comforts you’ll need.
Whilst Stroan doesn’t have its own garden, there is a play park and field just across the road. Perfect to take your dog(s) for a run around during your time here.
