This was our second visit to Coorie Lodge, and I very much doubt it will be our last. As a family of five (plus one dog), this property has everything we could possibly need.

Inside, the property is spacious and finished to a high standard. The garage / games room provides useful storage for bikes, as well as entertainment on rainy days, and the decking and garden are a wonderful place to enjoy the sunshine when it appears. The property's quiet location is also a big positive for us - perhaps a little too far for small children to be able to walk to anything but the drive to Aviemore centre is less than 5 minutes and the absence of any traffic noise more than makes up for the very minor inconvenience.

Our family has a long-standing connection to Aviemore, and this will certainly be our property of choice for future visits.

Upon arrival, Coorie Lodge appears to be a normal and not overly large property. That is until you enter the property and wow you are greeted with lovely views from the dining room, which in turn is eclipsed by the lounge. A lovely light and airy property with walks from the front door. We were extremely comfortable for our weeks stay and blessed with great weather. Coorie Lodge is a lovely holiday home and we highly recommend the property. Our stay was made that extra bit special by the meals supplied by Speyside Kitchen. Thank you GNL for another great property.

Well we have now been to Coorie Lodge 4 years running. We love Coorie lodge as it’s beautiful inside & has everything required for spending a day indoors or being cosy at night. We had never stayed in autumn before & wow the colours were fantastic. We stay as a family & this year had an addition of a dog & again house is perfect as amazing garage to store bikes & hang clothes up & dry dogs. We have already booked again for next summer & our sons super excited already. You can cycle straight onto cycle paths, walk into aviemore for shops or walk to Loch Vaa.

We stayed in Coorie Lodge, 4 adults ,a baby & 2 dogs. We had a small issue of the cleanliness of the rug in the lounge & the bedroom carpet. We had to give a quick hoover when we arrived, which was annoying . It really didn’t spoil our holiday the house was great for our stay.The owner even came round to apologise and check everything was okay, which was lovely of her.. Thank you. The house is in an ideal position , lovely views, easy walk into Aviemore and easy to walk to Boat of Garten. The house is spacious, welcoming and the wood burner in the lounge is lovely. I would highly recommend a stay in Corrie Lodge we will definitely be returning to it at some point in the future. Thank you

Great house rental at the edge of Aviemore looking out onto the golf course. Good outside space to sit and relax. The house had everything you needed for a holiday, comfortable beds and sitting room was bright and comfortable. The kitchen was really lovely and modern.
We couldn’t use the games room as the boiler had a terrible fumey smell but after reporting it to housekeeping a plumber was sent. They were super responsive. Recommend Coorie house for a break and would come back.

Our third time staying in a Great North Lodge, and first time in Coorie.
Great location - perfect to be right on the cycle path and the dog loved heading into the woods for our walks - being lucky with the weather definitely helped! Handy for a nice walk into the town too.
House was spotlessly clean - and the living space in particular is perfect. Complete kitchen envy, with all utensils provided, and we spent many an evening watching the Olympics in the comfortable living space.
Lovely to sit on the decking with a book and a cuppa, watching golfers and cyclists pass by.
A great place to switch off and relax - thank you for a lovely stay - we’ll be back!

We stayed in Coorie Lodge for a week with our family of 4 and had a great time. The house is very comfortable and complete at a nice, quiet location. It was very nicely decorated. It felt like a home away from home. The welcome present was very nice.

The weather was also great. We used the washing machine a few times and because of the weather it was possible to dry it, but when the weather is cold and rainy, or in wintertime it would be lovely to have a tumble dryer.

There are building activities near the golfcourse, also approximately 50 meters of the house. This was no real noise problem when we were there, but in future it may affect the location / quietness if they build other houses quite near the Coorie Lodge. Of course Aviemore is very popular and houses/hotels will be build, but then it should be mentioned on the booking site.

Spent a week in Coorie lodge , beautiful house . Plenty room for 4 adults & 2 children under 5 & of course our dog .
Lovely walks close by & short distance to Aviemore , Loch Morlich , Rothiemurcus .
Family loved it they all have bikes so cycled a lot.
With having our young grandchildren there we would have benefited from having had a whirly gig to dry clothes & wet suits etc but other than that everything was perfect ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful property in a perfect location . Comfortable and spacious for families our grandchildren especially enjoyed the balcony and garden .The owner had also left a lovely welcome pack . The view from the lounge was amazing especially during the unfortunately windy weather we had . We had a great holiday, lots of walking enjoying the beautiful scenery of Aviemore and the surrounding area then back to relax in this amazing bungalow.

Coorie Lodge quickly felt like a home from home for our family of 5! The property has everything you could need, although the large living area and kitchen were the highlight for us, with plenty of space to be together as a family and for the children to play. We were also extremely fortunate with the weather during our stay and the raised decking area to the rear was the ideal spot to enjoy the beautiful spring evenings in a peaceful setting.

The location is superb being close enough to Aviemore to walk (should you wish) but somehow feeling much further away! Easy access to the traffic free Speyside Way / Route 7 is an added bonus!

A very minor piece of maintenance work was needed at the property whilst we were there but this was attend to promptly, efficiently and without fuss.

All in all, a wonderful holiday which we weren’t quite ready to see the end of. We will certainly be returning to Coorie Lodge and are already looking at dates for next year!

We booked this stay quite last minute and were very happy with the house when we arrived.
The house is large and spacious with lovely bedrooms. The kitchen is very well stocked with paraphernalia and we baked and cooked at our leisure.
The house is situated a short distance from Aviemore and the view over the golf course makes it seem that you are very remote.
We loved our stay and would definitely stay again.

Lovely spacious house, great location, quiet but close to the centre of Aviemore. Good walks for the dog. We were a family of 4 and we really enjoyed our stay at Coorie Lodge. This is one of the best Christmas lodges we can remember. The lodge is wonderful in every aspect. Set in a quiet side road overlooking the golf course.

The Christmas decorations were tasteful and the lodge itself was warm and welcoming in the heart of winter.

The kitchen is large and extremely well equipped.
We cannot recommend Coorie Lodge highly enough

This is our second time staying at Coorie Lodge and we love it. The property is fantastic and extremely comfortable. The location is great for those who like to hope on their bikes into Aviemore or the opposite direction to Boat of Garten.

Only comment on this stay is that a couple of items from the previous occupiers had been let - an empty moisturizer box and a large number 6 or 9 birth balloon which prompted me to question how well cleaned the property was between us and the previous occupiers.

Other than that another fantastic stay and we will definitely be back again.

A lovely house in a quite location, not too far from town centre. Great having the dart board and table tennis table in the garage for those rainy days. The house was really well equipped & very cosy.

The only thing I think needs to be improved is the wire fencing around the garden - some lower parts are not secured to the ground & a small dog could easily escape. I'd seen this on a previous review & had to keep an eye on our old small dog all the time. Or make it clear in the description of the property.

But the house was great. And I would highly recommend booking through Great North Lodges. We've booked through them many times and stayed in some great properties. They are always extremely helpful & quick to deal with any queries. We've already booked another property through them for 2024!

The place is very good for families with children or elderly people who don't want stairs.
We had an excellent stay in the lodge with only one major concern!
We booked the lodge as it was described as being dog friendly unfortunately it is not!
Our dog escaped the first day and we were so shocked and we were all over the area looking for him.
I got a call from a local lady who had captured him as he was all over the road and people's gardens desperate to get back to the lodge.
I was so so grateful to her for her kindness and help.
I feel that the lodge is described incorrectly and that it could of ended with devastating results
This spoiled our stay in the lodge for the sake of a roll of chicken wire to remove the risk.

Excellent lodgings for a family summer holiday. All equiped to a bery good standard inside. A short cycle to town. Cycle route very close by. The number 7 cafe was excellent for breakfast and just round the corner.
We would happily stay at any GNT accomodation in the future.

One small comment for improvement if I may. Dont charge premium prices and ask you customers to strip beds. Please remove the sorry email about time needed to clean during COVID. This is no longer necessary.

Thank you again for an excellent stay. We will book again!

This is our 3rd visit to Coorie Lodge & we are always amazed at the location, the beautiful home & this time the weather. We have gone since our son was a baby & he loves it. There is so much play space both inside & outside. The kitchen is so well prepared & the garage is fantastic for table tennis & also keeping bikes. We are booking for next year

A fantastic experience.

A particular highlight was the cozy log burner, which made the whole place feel so warm and inviting whilst kicking back and enjoying the views from the huge windows in the living room.

The beds were all super comfortable and provided a great night's sleep. The showers were fantastic - hot and loads of power - which was lovely after a day's skiing. The whole property was incredibly clean and felt very upmarket, with attention to detail evident in every room. There's a definite wow-factor when you first walk in and I would highly recommend Coorie Lodge to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay in Aviemore. My little girl enjoyed a game of table tennis too on a wet morning whilst waiting for the rain to clear.

Location was good - off the main drag but a short and easy walk into town. Access to the Aviemore Orbital and Speyside Way walks is literally out the front door and round the corner.

Fantastic lodge in a quiet residential area, easy walking distance into Town. Has everything you could ask for so comfortable with a very large well equipped kitchen. Views from the living room onto the golf course is what makes this lodge, we have witnessed some stunning sunrises from the deck. Great walks straight from the door and easy driving distance to all our favourite walks when in the area. The log fire is so relaxing and warming after a long walk. We love the lodge so much have booked to return.

We spent a Fri-Mon weekend at the lodge whilst skiing. Didn’t spend a lot of time indoors but when we did we had everything we needed. Comfy beds, good showers, excellent kitchen facilities, it was spacious, warm, clean, has off road parking and set in a quiet residential area within easy walking distance of the town centre. The lodge has a lovely outlook at the back onto the golf course and my son and husband loved the table tennis and dartboard in the garage. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay here again. We had a fantastic week at Coorie Lodge.

Excellent location for cycle tracks both into Aviemore and to Boat or Garten.

The house is beautiful and very well presented and equipped. The kitchen is to die for.

Our only comment would be that we found the bed/pillow a little uncomfortable in the master bedroom but this wouldn’t put us off staying again.

We’l be back for sure!

Lovely stay at Coorie Lodge which is situated in a great location with a beautiful outlook and we were lucky enough to see deer in the morning. The property was as pictured and spacious and clean so ideal for the 4 of us, however only thing that I would say it the decking is indeed very very slippy when wet which the owners did warn of however the dog slipped badly going up the stairs which have gaps in the back which his leg went through…however luckily he was ok but a gate or non slip flooring on the stairs would help as I had to hold on also with walking boots on ! - apart from that it was a very nice property.

We had a really nice stay here. Very large and comfortable accommodation. Nice and quiet area but within walking distance of the high street. 10 mins away from Landmark by car. The fireplace kept the livingroom nice and cosy.

Stunning fully renovated house with lovely large reception rooms and a gorgeous deck overlooking the golf course. Perfect location for walking or gravel riding. About 30mins walk to the centre of Aviemore.
The water pressure is incredible, which makes for a great shower!
We had a fab week and will definitely be back.

I would question the sleeping space for 6 adults though, given one room is a very small box bunk bed room. I don’t know too many adults who want to stay in bunk beds on holiday. Other than that, the beds were super comfy and we really enjoyed our time there.
