Muckrach Country House is a large and luxurious retreat in the Cairngorms National Park. Muckrach has everything you could dream of for a get together for a large groups of family and friends.

We stayed at Muckrach (and Cairngorm Cottage) for 3 nights for my 50th birthday celebration with 30 guests. It was absolutely brilliant! The house is immaculate, comfortable, clean and spectacular. It's very welcoming and it has everything there you need and just a amazing place to relax and enjoy its surroundings whether it be reading the papers in the library, chilling in the copious sitting rooms or playing croquet on the lawn. The piano bar was a particular hit with my party! I didn't leave the grounds for 3 days as I didn't want to miss a second of it! I believe the bedrooms (maybe all the rooms?) had been refurbished recently and that showed as all the rooms were beautifully presented, en-suites were immaculate, beds were very comfortable and the rooms beautifully appointed. The house even smelled amazing the moment you walked in. Overall, our visit was genuinely amazing! Thoroughly recommend this to anyone wanting to celebrate a special occasion. A huge thanks for us to the team at Muckrach for making this visit one to remember. My birthday next year is going to seem tame in comparison - sooo tempted for the reunion!

We all had a terrific time at Muckrach house as it is such a wonderful place. Decoration is fantastic, facilities outstanding and the beds were super comfortable. There were 6 children with us and they didn’t want to leave. All in all, we thoroughly the house.
