Our two-bedroom semi-detached bungalows, Moonlight, Sunlight, Surf and Waves, have all been newly refurbished for the 2024 season!! The perfect property choice if you want a comfortable self-catering option with a little more space.

They have all been completely renovated to a high standard, featuring two bedrooms (a double and a twin), a comfortable family lounge with TV, a bathroom featuring a large shower, toilet and basin, and a fully equipped kitchen with electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge and freezer.

They are double-glazed and fully centrally heated, so you can enjoy these bungalows all year round. All heating and electricity is included in the price. Bed linen is included and all beds will be made up ready for your arrival, but you will need to bring your own towels.

The renovation has been done really well, the bathroom and kitchen are great! The central heating is also fab. I love the beds here, very comfortable and firm. A freezer is also available for all your frozen foods. Great service as always, very helpful and let us stay on an extra hour because they weren’t busy…. Love this site!

Couldn’t fault the accommodation. We have stayed previously and it was great to see the bungalow has been renovated and refreshed, with modern decor and new kitchen/bathroom. Winterton is located right next to the beach and is a great base to explore the surrounding area. The complex/restaurant is closed as out of season but we were aware of this and enjoyed going to the Fisherman’s Return pub a short walk away. Will return, very enjoyable short break with kids and our dogs.

Accomadation very good. Location good. We used for base to visit people nearby. The amenities on the site were not open because it was close season, but everything was well kept and clean. Would use again.

The Moonlight bungalow is really lovely, has obviously had a revamp and is done really well. Beds very comfy, plenty of space for your clothes etc and a good dressing table etc. Bathroom a good size with a good shower. Kitchen well set out with a fridge and freezer. Living area lovely too. All immaculately clean. When we return we will use this bungalow again. We have stayed at Hermanus before - previously in a roundhouse which was also lovely but just wanted a bit more space. Great location for the beach and the village. We ate in the restaurant which we have many times before (visit Winterton every year) and the food is really good & our dog was welcome. Staff are lovely and friendly. Out of season (September) it is quite quiet. I do wish it was also open Sunday & Monday evenings but understand it is a quieter time of year for the site.

The bungalow has been recently updated and was beautiful - lovely little kitchen, beautiful living room (we loved the chairs) and very comfortable bedrooms. The bathroom was lovely too. The only issue was the lights outside at night, as the bungalow is right next to the car park. Apart from that, it's perfect.

An amazing location, located just 2 minutes to the beautiful dunes and beach at Winterton.
Our accommodation is very clean spacious and the decor is lovely, having been completely refurbished to a high standard.
We are lucky to have stayed at Hermanus on many occasions over the past years. Each visit is consistently excellent, from the Hermanus staff team, to the accommodation, to the amazing views!
We love it! As does our dog, Dotty!
On our last visit we had left something behind in the accommodation, once we realised we contacted Hermanus. They were brilliant, going above and beyond to reassure us, that they had the item, and kindly posted it to us via next day delivery.
Once again an example of their excellent service.

We absolutely love coming here,being staying for a long weekend for the last 19 years.brought family and granddaughter this time.we normally stay in the round houses as there are only normally me and my wife which are really quaint too. Chalets are very comfortable and the views are so beautiful. Need to recharge batteries, definitely the place to stay.really hope we can go next year to make 20 years as they aren't takin long weekend booking till August/September.lovely village and brilliant pub too.cant express enough how much we love it there.

From start to finish, the holiday was fantastic. Helpful and friendly staff, very clean and modern accommodation, with all the required facilities.
Bar and food was to a very high standard, with good service throughout.
A lovely area of Norfolk. The atmosphere is very relaxing, we left feeling rested.
Lovely views and local village has a good range of services, with plenty of places to visit close by.
Will definitely be visiting again soon.

We had a fantastic stay, the bungalow was perfect in every way, very short walk to the beach over a sand dune. The village of Winterton itself is beautiful with a lovely pub within a very easy walking distance. Local larger towns within 10mins if needed. We had a great meal in the club house too. Pool and play park perfect too. Great place, would definitely return and recommend.

Very help receptionist, and changed accommodation due to steps on the first one. Only disappointing thing that the bar or restaurant wasn't open at all during our stay as come to have their famous Sunday Carvery. Which I understand is not going to be done anymore.

We stayed in Moonlight as we had our daughters little dog having usually stayed in a Deluxe Round House. However, Moonlight has recently been refurbished and it was absolutely lovely and probably book these again even if travelling without a dog. We couldn’t complain about anything. Shame the restaurant for food wasn’t open in the evening, but we like the Village pub so wasn’t an issue.
We look forward to seeing further refurbishment around the site as I do think with the new price increase I think the site will need to reflect this.
Only 1 suggestion perhaps a small or floor lamp in bungalow as when the lights are on it can be bright.

This is our 4th stay at Hermanus. It is a peaceful place where you can leave the hustle and bustle of life behind and relax in the beautiful surroundings of the dunes and beach at Winterton. We stayed at a newly refurbished chalet bungalow which was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was nice and warm (weather was still cold at Easter) and a 5 minute walk to the local pub and corner shop. This is an ideal place to rest, read, relax and walk.

Stayed at Hermanus many times, but this time stayed in a newly refurbished chalet. Done up really nice with a fantastic shower. Our only criticism would be is the lighting. It would be nice if there was a lamp to make it cosier, rather than the bright ceiling lights. Will be back again soon. Thank you

As regular visitors to Hermanus, we can only say that they are going from strength to strength in ensuring the best for their guests.
This is an achievement, not only coming through lock down, but like a phoenix, they have risen from the trauma of a fire, that added to a very difficult 2-3 years.
Ivan and his team have shown commitment, and worked so hard, ensuring the future of Hermanus and their guests.

Our stay at moonlight was made even more comfortable by the fresh decor and new furnishings. Including a new kitchen and new bathroom suite. A real home from home for us.

Everyone at Hermanus are so friendly and welcoming, without being intrusive.
We feel that we are visiting good friends, as well as relaxing, enjoying the view the walks and the beautiful location of Winterton on Sea.
You ask below would we recommend this accommodation-100% is the answer, but ……….avoid the dates that we want to stay!

Our trip to Hermanus was a trip back in time as our family spent many years at Hermanus over the generations. Little has changed which was fantastic in some ways but a little frustrating in others. In this digital age the lack of Wi-Fi in the residence was an anomaly and sorely missed. But overall the facilities are great for multigenerational visitors. We will be back - probably sooner rather than later- and look forward to it with glee!!! It would be great to have the quiz nights and bingo nights back! Always great fun! All the best!

( Minor gripes - no recycling bin in kitchen , no bath mat but hey ho - not deal breakers!)

A superb location. Short stroll to the dunes and beach. Very comfortable bungalow with everything necessary for our stay.
Didn’t use the club house or pool but they both looked clean and well managed. A very good pub serving great food 5 minutes walk. We would stay again.
