Our two-bedroom semi-detached bungalows, Moonlight, Sunlight, Surf and Waves, have all been newly refurbished for the 2024 season!! The perfect property choice if you want a comfortable self-catering option with a little more space.

They have all been completely renovated to a high standard, featuring two bedrooms (a double and a twin), a comfortable family lounge with TV, a bathroom featuring a large shower, toilet and basin, and a fully equipped kitchen with electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge and freezer.

They are double-glazed and fully centrally heated, so you can enjoy these bungalows all year round. All heating and electricity is included in the price. Bed linen is included and all beds will be made up ready for your arrival, but you will need to bring your own towels.

The accommodation at Hermanus has been upgraded to a great standard. As ever the location is spot on and perfect for dogs! Always warm and cosy and well equipped. The only disappointment is no WiFi so the smart tv can not be used to it fullest and you are using your 5G on phones. Also no bar or clubhouse open when we stayed, so would expect a much cheaper rate to reflect this. A great place to stay for peace & quiiet though.

Very nice bungalow all we needed was there .the only thing that was wrong the bar noor the restaurant was open on Friday Saturday or Sunday for a drink or to get energy food

If you want a relaxing peaceful break,this is the place to be ,overlooking sand dunes and sea, been coming a few times this time big surprise the bungalow had a refurb and what done to high standard.staff never had staff like like this anywhere I've stayed so helpful and friendly.

We are regular visitors to Hermanus, but was my Mums first visit and like us she loved her visit. It is so nice having the accommodation slowly refurbished and we love the whole relaxed atmosphere and we are back again next weekend with my daughter which will be her first visit. We often stay at Hermanus and are very impressed by the chalet refurbs. Very well done! Clean, comfortable and equipped with everything you need. Location is amazing and facilities on site are perfect for us. Good food in the restaurant and the swimming pool is a real bonus. Lovely friendly, helpful staff. We bought our neighbours along this time and they have already booked a return visit. Excellent value for money. Thank you.

A beautifully updated chalet, especially the walk in shower and the decor. The food and service at the restaurant was excellent.

We've previously stayed in a round house on a couple of stays at Hermanus and always found it to be a wonderful holiday and this time was no different. We opted to stay in a 4 berth chalet as we wanted more space now we have had a baby and we couldn't fault the chalet. It's wonderfully renovated with everything we needed right there for us and so comfortable. We picked a not fantastic week weather wise so spent more time in there than we expected and that didn't bother us one bit.
As always the staff at the on site restaurant were brilliant and accommodating and couldn't do enough for us. I recommend Hermanus to all of our friends, great accommodation fantastic staff and a brilliant location.

Property was lovely and clean and comfortable. Could have done with a grill pan for cooker and oven gloves. Welcome pack was a nice touch. The pool was a firm favourite with my granddaughters and the play area. The most beautiful location and staff very friendly and helpful.

We stayed for 3 nights/ 4 days ,a great site food was good in the Highwayman restaurant, pool was lovely, accommodation was very comfortable, would have liked stronger bin liner in the bin and a place to put our recycling otherwise all was fantastic. Will definitely be back.

We have been visiting Winterton on sea for at least 12 years. We have never been disappointed with Hermanus and every single inch of it is just perfect. The accommodation is superb, well appointed and clean..The swimming pool is delightful and the hospitality is outstanding . The menu is varied and the quality and quantity of the food is incredibly good.
All in all, a fantastic stay. A wonderful part of the world . So good. No complaints. Will be back .

This is a lovely 2 bedroomed bungalow with a sea view on an excellent site in a brilliant location. We had a very tasty Sunday lunch in the restaurant on the site. Winterton is a lovely quiet village with beautiful walks. There is also a pub, shop, tea room and fish and chip shop in the village.

Very tired and in need of a refurbishment, heater wires were disconnected and left hanging, cupboard door hung off , carpet was dangerously worn creating a trip hazard and there was a constant aroma of mustiness, and these were just the good points! My wife and I left 3 days early not being able to survive the conditions any longer, we left 2 family members there to complete the holiday as they hadn’t holidayed for 3 years and we’re more forgiving!

We have been staying at Hermanus Winterton for over 35yrs or more and have always found it to be good and very comfortable most accommodation has been upgraded and refurbed with new bathrooms and double glazing the only fault I found was that some of the window handles were coming loose and and were difficult to use and a bedside cabinet door was loose but overall once again it was a great stay which we all enjoyed we will stay again soon

Hermanus Holidays is always our first choice for a quick gettaway. All of the staff there have become like extra family members to us and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. The Bunglaow is simple but spotlessly clean and most importantly is affordable within this ecenomic climate! We were so happy that the restaurant is now open and we ate there on both nights of our stay, the food was second to none! We had the swimming pool all to ourselves and it was ideal on the hot weekend that we stayed. Winterton-on Sea is the ideal location for relaxing dog walks over the dunes and beach. We have been staying for many years and are already look forward to making our next visit.

We love Hermanus, as the scores above show! The only 4 is that the decor is a little tired. Saying that we have all the comforts and practical equipment to ensure a relaxing stay.
Everyone at Hermanus are always friendly and professional.
The situation overlooks winterton dunes, and you usually catch a glimpse of seals in the sea, from the wonderful sandy beach.
Would we go back? See you in October, as booked!
