A converted farm building, Pond View is a luxurious 5 star, two bedroom cottage that sleeps 4 with a beautiful outlook to our two ancient farm ponds. It works fantastically well for families or friends.

We were looking for somewhere to stay with two lively grandchildren and Lower Elsford Farm did not fail to tick all the boxes. Lovely heated pool and outdoor play area just steps from our back door and a brilliant games room just steps from the front! Plenty of walks both around the farm, beautifully kept gardens and further afield, No need to take the car out. - unless you want to explore more of beautiful Dartmoor. Our hosts were very friendly and their welcome gifts of home made scones, jam and cream, chocolate goodies for the boys and home made apple juice was very much appreciated. A nice touch. Both bedding and bath towels were lovely and we loved the comfy settees upstairs. Of course we had to light the fire although it wasn’t cold and the boys loved the novelty of collecting eggs for their breakfast. Thank you for a lovely stay. Perfect.

My husband, two children (7&11) and I had the most wonderful stay at Pond View. The facilities are amazing (the children particularly loved the pool and collecting the freshly laid eggs), the hosts could not be more welcoming and the cottage was very well equipped and comfortable.

We will be back!

It was our first time at Lower Elsford and we were blown away with the level of detail and thought that was put in to all aspects of the cottage and shared facilities. The location was picturesque and so many lovely walks from your doorstep. The pool was a godsend and our 18m old grew with confidence in the water over the time we were there. A great location to go on day trips. It really was a perfect holiday! And we will be back in 2024!

Family of 4 2 adults 2 children (4) and (8). The best family holiday we’ve had !!. Paul and Jan were wonderful and couldn’t do enough. A perfect location with an abundance of facilities. We will be back.

We had a fantastic stay at Lower Elsford Farm as a family of 4. The location is simply stunning, our cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Our children absolutely loved the swimming pool, games room and play park. The hosts thought of everything to make your stay very comfortable and personalised touch like signed postcard and delicious goodies hamper was very well received, thank you!
It’s a gem in the most beautiful area. We don’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone. We will definitely be back.
