Best accommodation we have ever had in Brixham and we've been coming here for many years. An architectural wonder in terms of maximising value in such a short space, and what a garage area(gold dust in Brixham)! Great space as well for the daughters car on Heath Road. An absolute gem of a property and the master bedroom phenomenal! Cannot give any higher praise, many thanks!! J Adler.

Amazing location set above the harbour for access to either side of brixham.
Very pleased with this property, would stay there again.

The property was ideal for our large family holiday, we were able to park our 2 cars easily. There are 2 visitor spaces and 1 available for the whole time we stayed so that was good as parking is limited nearby. The location was brilliant, so close to walking into town without too many steps. Our only feedback is the bed on the top floor wasn’t comfortable, it sags a lot so could do with the mattress replacing. And the towels were a bit naff - very small & seemed old. It would be a small change but make a difference to have some nice large fluffy bath towels to finish it off. But overall we were very happy & would stay again.

Thank you for staying at 3 Ocean Gate and recommending it to others. I am sorry you felt the mattress was saggy Others have said it is too firm. It’s a brand new mattress- hardly used- and high-quality, mattress comfort is something you can never get right for everyone. I will pass on your comments about the towels however they are the designated size. I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay at the property and it provided a great base from which you explored Brixham.

Ocean Gate 3 is in a superb location , please note steps up from garage , great size house , very clean with all you need , and decorated for Christmas very good , plus having a garage to put car in is a bonus , just brill .

Great location lovely house n furnishings
Great kitchen and equipment
Overall lovely
And enjoyed our holiday
Couple of negatives strange smell in the house
And long jet black hair all over the house especially in on suite bathroom also short black hair around sink in bathroom

What can you say about Ocean gate ? But brilliant everything there what you need , the master bedroom on the top floor might not be for anyone who has difficulty with stairs , but well worth the effort. Plenty of cutlery and crocs , plenty of pots pans if you want to cook, and if you cook there is a dishwasher. Plus off road parking in the garage , I would just say you can close the garage door from inside but you can't open , I don't think. Apart from that Ocean gate is very good, we will be back .

Wow, what a stunning and perfectly located house. Every room is spacious, super clean, comfortable and superbly kitted out. The kitchen has everything you need including a Dolce Gusto coffee machine and a super little courtyard complete with 2 patio sets (a 4 and a 2 person). Comes with own under-building car park (better to reverse into - I have a Renault Kadjar so had to do this carefully) and extra 2 spaces above (1 used by a neighbour though but street parking possible too). Not good for anyone with mobility issues as 15 steps to building then house is 3-storey so another 2 sets of stairs inside but if you haven’t any mobility problems this house is the one for you……hmmmm perhaps i shouldn’t praise it so much so it’s always available for me hahaha. Seriously, you will not be disappointed.

We are a family of 6 and we found 3 Ocean Gate plenty big enough and a superb holiday home for exploring Brixham and the surrounding area.

Having the parking space is a real bonus for us but having two cars was sometimes difficult, but that's an issue whenever you stay in Brixham. The rooms are a great size with every creature comfort you can think of. The only one complaint is that of the bed in the master, it's very hard and not that easy to sleep in. BUT everything else was spot on.

Thank you for such a great stay and providing a superb house in a wonderful location. We will hopefully be back again.

Thank you so much for your extremely positive review of Ocean Gate. Gutted you found the Superking bed too firm. It is the best quality, British made mattress in the house but realise everyone has different preferences. However, we fully respect your comment.
