Amazing location set above the harbour for access to either side of brixham. Very pleased with this property, would stay there again.
We have stayed here a number of times and it has always delivered to our expectation. We love it.
Beautiful house, amazing views! Very clean and comfortable and everything needed for a wonderful holiday. Perfect location for harbour restaurants and bars, will definitely return
Thank you so much for our stay in 8 Dolphin Court . The flat was so clean and comfortable and the lovely views from every room and Balcony it really gave us a wonderful holiday will definitely book again
Only problem was clip on shower rail was broken, otherwise everything was ok qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq
A lovely spot. Nice walks all near to a great little town. Lots of places to eat and drink at reasonable prices. The accommodation was well equipped, clean and comfortable.
We had a lovely week at Sea Nook. Gorgeous views of the busy harbour, ever changing and I loved it especially at night as the sun set. A lovely walk along to Breakwater Beach and beyond... and an excellent bus service so hardly used the car. The Lido is great too. All in all a lovely week and everything we needed.
We have stayed at The Coral a few times before the pandemic so were very happy to be returning again. The location is just perfect. The apartment is well stocked with all the essentials. It is central to all the amenities around the harbour. Good connections with buses and water taxis. Plenty of places to eat and drink and to "watch the world go by". Even if you are unlucky enough to have bad weather, you can sit in comfort and watch the trawlers coming and going.
The panoramic views from every room, particularly the living room, were amazing. The property was bright, light and extremely welcoming after a day of hiking. Helpful amount of dishwasher tablets, detergent etc. Great to have two king size beds and two bathrooms for two couples. Living room very comfortable. A bit of maintenance is now needed however to keep the property 5*. The kitchen tap dripped constantly and was very annoying ( we noticed a review in April pointed the tap out, so obviously nothing had been done to rectify it!). We emailed the office to mention that the shower plug was ...more
Nice enough but would prefer to stay in Brixham harbour area. It was a bit out of the way for us....
The 'Cove' is located high above the little Fishcombe Bay giving a most fantastic view of the water, Our apartment would benefit with some attention to the mattresses and bed coverings on the single beds and also some attention to the bathroom door lock that refused to open without some outside help , but over all we enjoyed our stay.
Was pleasantly surprised at the size & space of the apartment...not immediately obvious after the outside steps..view is spectacular fixtures & fittings great...lovely big rooms & my very favourite "sash windows" no awful pvc...beds & bedding good well equipped plenty of cutlery & crockery...fridge freezer & washing machine.... nice touch provision of coffee tea & biscuits ....large outdoor terrace table chairs & relaxers nice creation with plants & garden...only couple of tiny points...cobwebs..stains on blinds & one set of curtains in lounge..overall pretty exceptional.
Was ready earlier had everything we needed . Beautiful views . Was clean and well presented . Very welcoming and friendly . Even left us milk n biscuits and plenty of bottled water .
Really loved staying at Sandy Bottom, the view from Living room and main bedroom was amazing, could sit in the window for hours just watching the world go by, woke up really early the first day and watched the sunrise, it was beautiful. Loved seeing the baby seagulls on the roofs around us, although it seemed it was almost common place for them to fall from the roofs and be found wandering the streets , luckily the locals seemed more than used to dealing with them and keeping them safe. House was well equipped. Having the car parking space was really useful although a little tricky to park in...more
Amazing view looking over the harbour. Good location for Brixham Harbour for those who are physically fit to walk up the steep hill/steps back to the house. We parked on street outside of house. We found bed small but used to sleeping in a king-size. Would definitely visit again for the stunning view
Overall a nice property with excellent location and fantastic views We would recommend blinds in the dining room window and the lounge window as when the sun is shining it is difficult to see the TV and in the lounge not only is it too bright but too hot for comfort.
Best views we've ever had in Brixham from 10 years plus coming here(breakwater and lighthouse). Beautifully clean and every commodity available within the accommodation. Great lounge TV and beds ultra comfortable with added balcony luxury. Only slight downside; as seasoned Brixham stayers will know, tight accesses(better top end) + steep steps lol! Also slight confusion as to whether you can park a second car outside the property but still giving access to all others(vociferous neighbour categorically/sternly no, but welcome book says ok??) Needs clarification, but overall fabulous thank you...more
The views from the apartment & balcony are fantastic over Brixham Harbour and out to sea. We loved watching the activities of a working harbour and looking down on the rooftops at nesting seagulls. The Penthouse had everything and an excellent kitchen. We enjoyed cooking fresh fish as well as eating at Rockfish. (A tip.... if your car does not fit in the apartment parking space, the nearest longstay car park is Oxen Cove (RingGo available to book for a week) Easy pedestrian access to the left side of Rockfish and Brixham harbour - a 10 minute walk to The Penthouse. Note:- Central Car Park ...more
Smugglers Cottage is an excellent place to stay having both a close proximity to the centre of Brixham and lovely views over the harbour. .
PROs The location of the cottage was fabulous, the private parking space on the harbour was a god send, the cottage was cosy, the bed was comfy and the bed linen and pillows were good. The towels were thick and clean. CONs The cottage was overall very "grubby". There were quite a lot of cobwebs and it felt like no one had been in for quite some time other than to make the beds and leave clean towels and the bathroom had a very musty smell. We had to weed and wipe down the outside area otherwise we would not have been able to sit out. It is a very small area but again was in dire need of s...more
On the house : Nice comfortable house at a great location. The interior is beautiful and the house is very complete. The terrace is facing north east, so only in the morning there is sun. On My Brixham Holidays: customer service was not responding on my mails (even after reminders) shortly before arrival. So I wonder what happens in case of problems.
House was lovely. Very clean beautifully decorated, beds were comfortable, views were amazing .This is my fourth year visiting Brixham I love it .splashed out this year as my daughter had just finished uni, would love to visit driftwood again but not sure I could justify paying over £1300 for one week
Overall a very pleasant holiday. Having previously stayed in another appartement the view from this one was very inferior but we could see the sea. Parking was limited to a single space so as we were two couples one car had to be parked way off site. A bit inconvenient. The onsite pool was very welcome and pleasantly warm The location was ideal for a 15 minute stroll into Brixham along the coast path. Access to the neighbouring campsite for restaurant and shop was appreciated.
We enjoyed our stay, property is modern and functional, no complaints.WiFi , microwave and Netflix were the three things I needed, all in all a pleasant experience.
Well equipped property. Sofa too small for four people. Open staircase could be dangerous to children. Property suffers from terrible condensation and double glazing looks as if it needs repairing or renewing. However we did enjoy our stay and the big driveway was a huge bonus.
