We were a group of friends and met at Manor Farmhouse for the weekend. In the lead-up to the stay the communication was great. The property is really well located for train and motorway. The weather was not great when we stayed (but it was November!) but the house was comfortable enough that we didn't want to leave it. We explored a few local pubs which were lovely (and excellent Sunday roast in the Yew Tree). We spent 3 peaceful nights here over the summer and wished we had booked more! The location of the hut is amazing. It’s nestled in a bank of trees in a cosy little corner of the landscape and is totally secluded. It’s not overlooked, there is no traffic or other noise, and we were totally undisturbed. But we did have the company of birds, rabbits, sheep, and the friendly horses in the stargazing field! The hut is really thoughtfully done with plenty of clever storage for two people and their bits.
